I have the same spec's except I have 4 GB on the GPU card and have the game installed on an external USB 3.0 SSD. I normally get 35 - 45 FPS outside cities and In the cities I get 25 - 35, but occasionally it will drop in the low teens(or lower) for no reason at all. Also when I enter a new area it sometimes will take a minute or two to become playable. Interesting. I wonder if I've done something wrong or need to completely reinstall the game or something? Waiting doesn't help the issue. Thirty minutes later, I still have the same slide show effect. My husband has a brand new iMac with the best graphic card they had available and has performance similar to mine with the Mac Client. Both of us would obviously love to be able to use the macOS version rather than bootcamp. Any advice?

I've installed the 64 bit mac client thingie now to try it out. Maybe I've done something wrong, but it is way, way, way worse than the absolutely broken wrapper client. Standing in Divinity's Reach is like watching a slide show. What I did was install the new client and change my bar shortcut to the new one and launch. Seemed like this would be correct, but maybe not? Also, I should add that these specs, while getting a bit old, work fine on high settings in bootcamp. Oh, I didn’t think about the griffin skins and that some people won’t have that mount. If you never plan to get it, that makes the adoption thingie less fun for sure. On the other hand, if you plan to get it eventually, there are a couple of cute ones. And, I agree those winter mount skins are adorable.

I’ve gotten a few so far. This system works just fine, I think. I got one skin I wanted and others I don’t care for. They’re cheap enough that you can just make it a long term project to get them all. Eventually, you’ll get the ones you like best. And, since anet is pretty generous with gems, you can even never pay with real money. I don’t mind the rng factor because, unlike keys or dye kits, you always actually get a new skin. Just look at this set of 30 as a long term goal rather than an instant gratification thing.

None of the above. I’m not sure why people are clamouring to play tengu. They’re just a bird variation on the charr model. Most clothes and all that will look just as bad on tengu as they do on charr. And, isn’t charr the least played race? Now, choya on the other hand... Bring on The Pale Cactus.

The system itself is fine (except for cooking). The issue is there isn’t much reason to craft things.

The story was fun.The writing for the npc dialogue was bad. Canach quips, Rytlock is surly, Taimi is a smart kitten. It’s caricature. (Voice actor for Taimi was really good, though. If she were given better material to work with, it could be a great character)The new map is really lovely.New weapon skins is a plus.The sunspear marshal we save is handsome. I think he should join my character on all new missions.FPS is really low in a lot of places on the new map. Hopefully that can be fixed as it reduces desire to be on the map despite it being lovely.Poor Koss. :(A little too much was going on at the end of the final fight. Red circles everywhere and no time to look for a solution. The solutions to the rest of the puzzles in that instance were perfect. Overall, I liked it except the writing and the low fps. Thanks!

We have some frightening news to share and are looking for some help in resolving it.There have been a spate of foul murders in our guild hall. Some sort of witch is clearly on the loose! We are seeking all experienced Witch Hunters to come help our beleaguered population in Windswept Haven! The tavern's assistant was already caught having black feathers _and _he owned a knife. Obviously, that was suspicious! He was beaten and tortured till he confessed, but the murders continue! I’d prefer no new races of those listed. Most would just be variations of charr (tengu, kodan) and not many people play them. Armours look bad on them, they are too big, et cetera. I’d much prefer they make a lot more armour sets for the existing races. If we had to have a new playable race, I’d choose choya. :)

We are an established European based guild for older players who want a fun, casual social environment. We have two scheduled social activities each week (Guild Missions and a free form group event) that people can attend if they feel so inclined. We also have a friendly, lighthearted atmosphere in the guild chat and use Discord for voice coms where many bad jokes are ventured. All new members are encouraged to participate in the guild chat and to get on Discord and join in the fun. Our current guild events are on sundays at 20 gmt/21 gmt +1.
