Really not a fan of these "balance" changes where prettymuch every class is getting access to either Quickness or Alacrity and making such drastic changes to classes to make them feel more bland and more like other classes. What is even worse is we get a lot of power and boons but utilities for classes seem to get ignored more and more making all classes feel more and more the same. You contradict yourself so much and class identity is getting blended with others which is a bad direction for the game and its players. Making changes is perfectly acceptable if they make sense and don't power creep to much but right now this feels like everyone is pulling an Oprah kind of move, you get a car, you get a car to! aka quickness and alacrity and it increases the dps output again without making the encounters more balanced for it. I hope these changes get tweaked or get pulled from putting into live, the game right now is pretty well balanced and now like last year, June is another meme year for balance, what the heck!

Yeah the new system has a point but it didnt need to be active on older characters, and we need a toggle to turn it off entirely if we want to, because this is crazy annoying to deal with.

If you want to make sure to avoid the troll portals, just wait 30 seconds after everyone rushes to the chests, and as for the aviators, it is really easy to avoid that by clicking the chest or using a key to target next ally. Trolls will be trolls, no matter what anet does, there will always be a way to be annoying.

They are on the far right of the Face selection tab because they are not exclusive faces.

They been giving us veterans some pretty neat stuff, only to go down into a huge dissapointment with a title that was already awarded for those that have done a challenge mote Raid and only 1 color per year, more useless teleports to friends and a different implementation of the birthday blaster that no one used, but instead of it being a cake per character it is the primary account unlock instead of a cool armor, chair or something more original then something that already was done before on the second year. Like i understand if you are not fussed about it, everyone can feel differently about it, and frankly that is entirely fine, but when it comes down to it, this birthday is just a remix of older content done slightly different, and that is a bit of a kick in the face, i wouldnt have minded if it was original new stuff that didnt excite me or others, but this isnt that...

This boss needs ajustment yeah, the gate is just insanely strong for what is no more then a big piece of metal, there's hundreds of kegs exploding, a frigging boat firing cannons on it, it is totally crazy it takes that long and it just makes people bored more easily. Id say the Fire elemental Pre needs some tweaking to, the golem escort already takes a bit, then having it 5 minutes wasting collecting some gas is a lot of downtime for a boss that melts in 30 seconds, if the pre events were shorter, the bosses more intimidating and a lot more health, this would be a big plus, most of them feel to easy especially during boss weeks, they completely melt away like butter in the sun.

Is it the same weight/skin? if yes then you should get a box automatically, if not, then you get nothing. As for efficiency, yeh no it's a mess right now, best check all of your chars as Arenanet did point out in their article.

1 Legendary Light armor set can be used on all Light armored classes, same for medium and heavy, and the same principle applies to Bolt, any class that can utilize a sword with or without elite specialization can equip that sword and you no longer have to move it around between shared or bank slot. On top of that if you set the stats on one char to be power, and on another character to be condition, the items will remember this setting when you load the character.

Because all characters can have 4 weapon slots, 2 weapons on each set, so you could for instance run 4 swords on a mesmer, 1 set with boon duration, one set with power, or condi, whichever you like, so that means you can have 4 bolts equipped on one character, if you add 1 legendary item on slot 1, you then used that item for that slot, so you need more copies or fill out the other slots with ascended and transmute them, but they don't have the ability to change stats.

Only if you had extra copies that could not be added, say if you had 5 bolt's then one couldnt be added anymore because the armory only holds a maximum of 4, and the 2 armor sets with the same skin and weight then you'd have 1 set be redundant and get a compensation, but its more likely your 2 sets are unique sets and not identical, so you get nothing 🙂

I had 1 extra Medium raid set for which i received 6 boxes, i can now happily run around on any rune i want thanks to the free compensation, Arenenet didnt even HAVE to do, they made a proper awesome decision here because they know that in general we are not entitled to any of it, we just getting it as a small token for our efforts but to be honest with the situation there really was no real need to make more then 3 armor sets in the first place for each respective game mode. In your situation where you already drown in so many legendary gear that these compensations have no real use, well yeah thats less fun but in the end you did choose to make all these extra's because you have a good income of items and you need them to go somewhere, nothing wrong with that, if you love making them, thats totally fair enough, but deep down you knew that those extra's aren't really that needed. i'd say keep the boxes, maybe in the future there will be more skins/items/sets that get included in an update, maybe not but in the end we did get something that has value to a lot of players except those that really have everything, we had extra legendary items, we get a box to choose something in the same item range which is fair enough. As for compensating for clovers or mystic coins, that would seriously disrupt a already volatile and unstable ingame economy, which if you played for this long, you'd understand that wouldnt really be an option either. For me, im satisfied, actually im over the moon with these boxes, free legendary runes without the hassle of provisioners tokens, all those clovers and gifts of the rune, yeah that's awesome and in terms of gold value 1 rune is about 200g more then one armor piece has been for ages, all i lost here is some legendary insights, but that's no real loss as raiding w1 to 4 is fun times for me and im not in it for the insights since i got the Envoy herald title.

Yep Legendary weapons need to retain their stats untill we choose a new one ourselves, this change is more cumbersome then needed really. Its really handy if you have everything set to templates, but even then you can encounter situations where you need to manually change one weapon and have to do all that again, it doesn't make much sense to me. For instance i might need my longbow on my druid once in a blue moon for samarog cm, i didnt put it on a template but if i switch it out for the axe/warhorn then i have to set it up again before the encounter, increasing downtime for the group, if i want to quickly go back to axe/warhorn i need to remember to hit the equipment template button for the quickest way to do it, but we been used to just easliy clicking the unlinked to templates weapon to retain the stats, sigil, infusion if present way of doing things that this change now, feels more cumbersome and slow. Might as well put a ascended bow on my druid and switch it out, same goes for the greatsword on black kite duties, swapping items when they are legendary, the ultimate convenient item to have is more of a time waste in this manner then ascended is, which is a shame. Please atleast change this behaviour to remember stats when we equip a weapon from the equipment panel on the character its been on before.

After some tinkering i got most stuff sorted out, but i wish there was a way to tally up my 42 leggy items more easily, i guess waiting for gw2 Efficiency to rework their site to account for it, right now i should have everything but it be nice to have a single page overview of all the items. Just waiting on Compensation mail for the armor that cannot be added again 😛

Heya all im looking for a eu raid group to train with specifically wings 5 6 and 7, i have some limited experience in them but not enough killproof or confidence in the mechanics to pug them and i prefer a group to train with and hone my skills. I've got the Envoy's herald title, + 800 li accumilated on wings 1-4, got a dps engi with my own rotation that works for me, a condition soulbeast, very comfortable on playing druid, have an hfb heal that i could practice with. I prefer mondays for raid days in general but i might be able to go on different days, not weekends. Cheers!

Score: 1 I liked grothmar, i kinda liked forging steel, everything else im just completely ignoring because of a complete lack of interest and having to get masteries to unlock loot, purchasing recipe's and getting buffs from them that makes this game even easier.

Open the bonus chest that has the tokens inside them while you are in the instance, for whatever reason last time i did this collection it was in there after killing kc.

I'd like to turn off or down the sound for The Dreamer, it's ok in a large fight but in dungeons it can get very old, very fast. That's already possible in the sound options.
