alliances will fail if the size remains the same. these "super alliances"/guilds right now are just rolling over everything. Not fun for either side... if anet can't control that size by reducing the #, the players will kill alliances before they start.... what is the point of super alliances when there is no opposition? how long will you be happy beating on gates?

I spent several hundred gold and salvaged almost everything. (kept a few sentimental/pita things like the druid backpack). Basically got back what I spent. I used fractal relics and packed away tyrian vouchers to replenish the fractal relics.

For those saying how tough this is.. I am at 99 tonics. I bought most of the sand and 8ish stacks of blood b4 the chest change as a hedge against a jump in price. Only thing I will continue to buy is the sand. I am not super rich. It can be done if you want to do it..., This was a. Great addition to GW2. If you want a cheap mini grind, do the otter enrichment....
