Is buying the code directly from the gw2 website and redeeming it either through the gw2 website or game browser really jumping through hoops?
Streamlining would be nice but you aren't getting shafted.

According to the Knowledge Base, you should contact the Billing CS Team for assistance.
Good luck.
102 is not on the database of error codes. Closest is 104

Attempting to buy gems from either in game or on the website results in a generic 102 error.

Am I mis-remembering but I think this version did have an up/down option but it was removed closely after launch after some discussions about negative impacts on posts. I think the emojis were the middle ground.
I think the old forums had them.

You get a choice of weapon skins if you speak to a specific NPC at the end. I don't recall anything else, but it's been a while
No. In the actual story journal. You never get the actual item listed there. It was just an image, but there were trophy objects you supposedly received relating to the chapter and its completion. Edit: Anet never went anywhere with them and it was mostly for literary purposes.

Didn't we 'get' certain objects for completing the Vanilla story? It's been a while a since I checked the logs. I am pretty sure there was a picture of objects next to the completed chapter that we allegedly obtained.
I mean, it's a good way to tie it in.

We have been asking for years now. Did you know the Chinese client of the game have styles that ours' don't?
Edit: Tell NCsoft we would pay them for the styles.

Unfortunately, Parasite is right. Apple forsaken the game via support of vital programs needed to run gw2. Unless you can convince Apple, unfortunately you are going to need a relatively new windows (i never tried Linux, so I can't say with certainty) computer.
Don't worry, I was able to run gw2 on a i5 laptop potato with an intergrated motherboard. You probably could get a cheap computer from Wally World under 150 that could run gw2.

'Wilds' is just simple, easy and to the point.

The idea of a fully customizable home having set locations for nodes seems really antithetical. Would be a major flop for anet since you'd have to rework your entire home design around the nodes being there
Depends on what they give us. I think i will make it work

Indeed. Hope they will add some of the other casual beach wear we have seen in the game. 😉
This would devaluate the invisible boots drop.
Whose drop rate that is so abyssmal that nobody can get? (Edit) Just add a special walking aura to them and just be done with it. That way we both win.
Though, I will likely just get another set of chest and leg armor, use it as a base and swap into it that without shoes. I don't see me going into combat with just a battle bra and panties.

Why not? More options don't/ won't ruin your experience any. If anything the options will make your experience better

As the title states, the unlocked Legendary Weapons are not showing up now that the classes are getting new Weapon types.
For example, I have Bolt and Eureka unlocked for my account.
Bolt is not listed on the Necromancer inventory and Eureka is not showing up on the Ranger inventory for selection.

Is calling it an expansion false advertising? Mmo expansions usually get reviews
Well, considering that the ads don't even make it clear it that it isn't finished nor being released in chapters at certain times, there might be a case for it. Only way for you to know is to either finish the content and get a rude awakening or to click on the websites and dig for it.

I hate WvW and I hate doing the track, but I am able to finish the track within a week. Use boosters to up the track gain.
I have a bigger bone to pick with the way lucky clovers are obtained now.

The game needs replayability, and the balance team need a mean to keep them under a paycheck.
The reality we face is that there will always be build-changing nerf and buffs that isn't necessarily made to refine the game, but rather to stimulate gamers to stay active.
Like how grocery stores regularly change their layout to confuse their customer base and keep them in the store longer?

I could care less if I could do the required content without requiring a massive amount of players being on the required map at the same time and place as I. Arenanet keeps downgrading any incentives for people who completed the latest content from going back. The daily system update cut a lot of those. Old content that would scale from at minimum of two players would go a long way. Edit: You would think an MMO that "Respects your time" wouldn't require everyone to be one to be there on the weekends after a major release of something new.

The hardest part of GW2 is doing content that requires group events in an obscure map that may or may not be running at the time or is completely dead with no other incentives to go back.
Everything else is easier than a casual hookup on a dating site with the depth to match.

Honestly, I won't know until after it goes live.
The weapon freedom and the Relics are of most interest to me, but then again, I never shot for the moon with with legendary runes. lol
The pve legendary armor is of some interest to me, but knowing anet, it will likely require hours of map grinding with large parties of people who are mostly unavailable after the release.

Probably not to not mess with the TP.
A beta is just a preview on it's own server. No affect on the market until it goes live. I am sure people are already stocking up in prep for the update anyway.
