  1. Twice already "marked for death" with the wrong special action I am getting tired of dying without proper defense... Fix it already... marked for death without a breaker, or sometimes rightout the WRONG breaker skill... This is the main reason why I loathe doing Amnytas. If I make a mistake and die, sure... but due to a bug SINCE RELEASE?
  2. Here is my problem, and one of the mayor problems I have with SotO. The sheer amount of tip popups. They are so frequently that its becoming a clown show. The main issue? You can only rid them by clicking them away with the mouse. The mouse that is (in my case) locked for movement. I heavily rely on action cam to make sure I have to press mouse buttons as few times as humanly possible. This all has to do with my Athritis. I managed to play easely in the entire game this way, without stress or pain. But then came SotO... And here came the ridiculous amounts of popups giving you "useful tips" but popups that are SO massively big, they obscure your screen and break immersion. For someone that is focussed on action cam... can ONLY move with action cam enabled and uses for 99.9% of all other actions the keyboard... the sheer fact that this is a mouseclick - a frequent mouseclick - is an absolute horror. I want to pop out of Action cam as little as possible, preferably that means Never. Each mouse click is 1 too many for me... and here is Amnytas Meta... with Dozens of them, how many tips do we need? It only means Pain to me to dismiss them... and the next pops up... and the next... and the next... you get the idea. Please ad something like a keybind to remove this. Or better "Don't show" option. If I have to choose between the tips and clicking them away vs 1 less mouseclick... I 100% choose the latter. I am posting this now, because I want ArenaNet to be aware, how much of a problem these popups in these sheer amounts are for some players like me. If these are coming to the game in higher quantities even, without a more workable way to dismiss them... I would not even want to think about that. Think of us limited players please.
  3. Look, it's the result of the changes that baffle me. Wherever there is a way to do things easely, people will go for it. The fact ArenaNet made the changes as they did, plays in the hands of those kind of people (afk or not) It does not look pretty. Specially not in Such low level areas. The champs in Dungeon is a nice tip, thanks for that.
  4. The story itself is good in my taste, but... Why are we now an extra? It feels like I am watching a movie rather than be part of a story. I am not the Wayfinder, I am the Commander. 12 years to earn that title, and some hocus pocus wizard decides my title holds no bearing? I surely hope the next expansion puts us back as main character and not an extra.
  5. I often run around in starter zones to help people out. The above is what I noticed happening now that Bandits are an alternative. Those areas were not full of farmers before, bandits are not farmed as other enemies that drop tier 3 through 6 mats. I know doing Kryptis is much faster, I was not after the bandits myself, just noticed in a location and decided to check other locations I am aware of. This is since the change. I reported some of them, but report all? No thanks, I rather play the game than spend tons of times on doing that. I am mostly dissapointed at the changes, and the effect they had. I cannot understand how ArenaNet think actively doing Champions in Lobby, or using the Training Area Golem is a BIGGER problem than AFK farmers now able to get weeklies done with zero effort. Unacceptable. It's no fun playing with this many AFK farmers around. And as to report? I remember a specific person standing in an AFK spot that I found... that same person now been there for over a week, no matter what time of day, what day I check, the farmer is there... Reporting is futile.
  6. I am baffled. You lowered some champions to Elite so we can no longer easely get 10 champion kills, however, you added things that massively favor AFK farmers. "kill 100 kryptis or bandits" and whatyaknow... Every location with high number of bandits is now litterly INFESTED with AFK farmers. I ran around Kessex and Queensdale and found on each area a minimum of 3 AFK farmers. Beggars Borrow and Bandithant Caverns in Queensdale Jannaj's Bandits, Goff's Bandits, Kenna's bandits, Mudbay Digs (conveniently out of the way of possible champion) all in Kessex. This is ok? but fast 10 champions is not? Why ArenaNet, Why? The worse part is, these are starter areas! What a good image to sell to new players. I am extremely dissapointed. You could've seen this comming.
  7. I am not impressed. It feels dragged out. "Complete events" twice? That is right out lazy. Plus, I am getting real tired of some obvious complaints we had since day one: More turrets to shoot out of the sky, with NPCs that just won't shut up so I could actually properly Aim. Why has the Text Bubble issue not been fixed yet? More Kryptis that totally ignore mechanics, not impressed. Turrets target and shoot you, despite class stealth or mount stealth Stability is utterly ignored by enemies, so the entire map feels like playing with intensive lag due to the massive overuse of push and pulls. Complete story, map, mastery, run away screaming.
  8. Option to disable the following: - NPC Chat Bubbles above my character. This often blocks the skyscale aiming. It is annoying, specially if the NPC asks you to shoot down turrets but you can't untill he stops yapping about it. - Option to remove game hints. "use this skill for stall breaker" Refering to the massive yellow lined popups that can only be clicked away. I'd love to permanently disable those, or haev an option to not show after first time showing. - Option to remove Mid Screen optional messages as "Something is lurking in the dark" "xx is the winner" etc... Was doing map comp in EoD and BOY are those maps constantly spamming you with totally irrelevant (to me) messages. Preferably see this things as options in settings, since to me they are massive spam and immersion breaking features, but to others they might be wanted.
  9. Same issue here since last friday's reset. So since this is a beta where you are suppose to play with your Guild (Which worked fine in the first 2 weeks) relink is a definite fail. I cannot join them for the last week.
  10. Getting sick and tired of the WvW pauze I have to bring in every Beta. All maps full, sitting in Q for hours on end. Normally 1, maybe 2 maps have a Q, not all 4 with the lowest being 20 ish. Why do you insist on this Beta while EVERY beta we always have Q's beyond believe
  11. As the title says. This is daily occurance, specially in Path of Fire and End of Dragon maps. Seems less prone to happen in Core or HoT maps.
  12. Naga bubble INSTANTLY destroyed my boat, while I was NOT in combat. So the boat was undamaged before this bubble hit it. This bug makes fishing even WORSE than it already is. I obviously had to kill the Naga and get out of combat, which by then (despite being able to kill the Naga fast) ment my 70+ fishing stack was deleted. Please do something about this mechanic. 1. A single should should never destroy a boat! 2. Give us ample of time to recover the boat before we loose the stack. It is WAY WAY too short. 3. (on a side note) Let us keep stack on the constant map changes that EoD asks you... every 5 minutes "This map is empty" (yeah 40 people squad is empty) would you like to swap maps? No I do not want to swap maps because that ALSO deletes my stack. Please ArenaNet. Fix the one shot bug and PLEASE give Fishing some love to take the frustration out of it.
  13. I encountered a small bug with this one: Trash that is converted to Jade Slivers does not count towards this daily Tested with my 4 accounts. Did the daily on 2 with and 2 without recycler module, the ones with module consistantly did not count towards the daily It's small, and knowing this now, I simply will pick a character without the recycler, but I'd thought you needed to know this, because you do see the junk item drop and then the Jade sliver. So technically you did receive loot.
  14. It is as with most content: It is not hard, once you know what is expected from you. Unfortunately that is not often made clear enough, easy to miss hints from NPCs while struggling in combat. Posting that video of the instance and Hizen's video on solo builds should make your life a lot easier. If you are still struggling, you can take friends with you in Party Mode. Core story really doesn't scale to player amount. Hope you get through.
  15. I am affraid this is a bit a New Player trap. I mean Random Complete any Hero in an expansion map. Knowing how long hero's take and how some are communes, I would feel cheated if it was a commune, or a PoF or even worse the super easy EoD ones. For 50 gems, you should give control in my humble oppinion. Just my 2 cents, I understand they need to make money, but for a seasoned player it is not worth it
  16. The only objectives I have on WV dailies - Dungeons are still bugged. All of them - Known bugs since release - Activities are clearly and unmistakenly PvP content. You play against other players, you can attack other players, you can frustrate other players. The Sheer definition of NOT PvE - there is WAY too little variety in daily objectives. Dodge, combo field, breakbar AGAIN??? I dont complain about how long it takes. I am just complaining about the sheer repetitive boring limited amount of (and lots of buggy) dailies. Small example: Vasburg Armory - I know how it works, I know what to do. Pick up first rune and kill vet for second rune, then wait till portal sparkles to get to chest room... so why on earth was I TPed to the entrance 4 times? It worked only the 5th time with (by then) 5 of each rune in my inventory! That is a staggering 80% fail rate. Such a fail rate on such a simple dungeon is... I dont even have words for this... known since release... Daily WV? Often simply Not worth my time
  17. Siege turtle still has a lot of benefits over the Skyscale. MUCH tankier, damage from canons is often much higher than Skyscale, Can hold a friend. Don't need to deal with instantly recovering enemies since skyscale cannot really target stuff from the air on the ground unless someone else is engaging the same enemy. (Enemy will instantly recover) And I never got the note that Skyscale replaced Griffon. That part is not true. Skyscale is a great addition to the Griffon, but for me it's a mount that makes it easy to get up high to get a good starting point for the Griffon. Heck even the flame beacon event in newest Meta is ruled by Griffon enthousiasts.
  18. Considering that a new playable race would mean introducing the race into the entire ecosystem, I would vote for Skritt. Just replace all player dialog with "Shiny!" - "Stuff stuff stuff!" and "Mine!" and you're done On a serious note though: No, way too much work and resources needed to do that.
  19. The dot is tiny, and on default settings right where your character is, making it even harder to see. You can change the 2nd part, by messing with the Vertical Position of your camera, have it more above your character, to actually see the dot above it. Makes it a little easier. You can find this in settings - General options. There are 2: Vertical Position Near and Vertical Position Far. The more you slide those to the right, the higher the dot will be above your character. I have my Far all the way to the right, and simply zoom out when I need to target things on my Skyscale. Hope this takes some frustration away.
  20. Sigh. I will speak only about the Griffon because the Skyscale is vastly inferior to this Epic mount. 1. Get all masteries 2. Go on youtube and search "Gw2 Griffon Tutorial" 3. Come back and edit your post. On Mounts in General: Unlike other MMO's where mounts are fast travelers, in Gw2 they have Purpose and weight to them. They all have their unique spot in the game.
  21. I think later on, this meta will lead to another 2nd and then final meta (Considering the map with be expanded further in the next 2 updates) so this is not the "Be all End all" fight.
  22. 25 for a year worth of content comes down to 2.08 a month. Plus this game as no subscription ANY comparising with WoW (where you have to pay monthly on TOP of that expansion) goes broke REALLY fast
  23. Twice a Soto expansion for double the money would also take longer to develop, which in the long run would likely result in same price per year. So I rather see cheaper smaller expansions more regularly, than the content drought we would otherwise experience. Now we have stuff to look forward too pretty regularly
  24. I use the rewinder at the start, high above the Flame Pickup Point. So I do not waypoint with the rewinder. This is my method: One note: Where I fly out of bounce now, will likely be temporairy map edge, but still. Take your advantage with this method while you can
