  1. building defenses isnt standing around afk like you make it out to be. Takes effort to run supply while watching structures for defense.
  2. Ok besides April Fools fake stuff, will WvW get any New Content next month? I am still waiting for some new gameplay features in WvW. When will this happen? Been years now.
  3. Here the thing OP. Players Scouting get no Participation and reward for doing the hard work of relaying info and scouting for defense. Before you antagonize those players that take up the role, how about you push Anet to reward players that do this better than nearly nothing. Anything better than nothing.

  5. I know this going to trigger the confusion emoji. But I am a fan of the AI pet concept in the game. I would like to see it improved. But also for the Necromancer, I would like to see some cool looking and function AI minions that ae impactful and cool, and centered around the spec, like Mechanist Engineer got, but not Robot, themed, but something like a dark powerful demon creature of some kind with cool animations and models. Current Minion master was built for the vanilla game, which the developers back then were much more restricted in what they could do by the limited view of the people at the top back then, and less creative. I want to see what interesting Super Minion a modern developer could come up with, both in terms of look and function.
  6. I still believe making Scepter a dynamic weapon based on Legend used, would have been a better idea. Right now the Scepter concept needs work and has bugs, but after these are resolved, I would then like to fully judge the weapon. But this was a missed opportunity really.
  7. Likely has something to do with a future design decision that hasnt been revealed yet but is slowly working its way to the introduction.
  8. And there is the problem with WvW and the flawed designed that Offense/DPS is everything. its what killed the original hype during vanilla, and this mentality in the development of the game still lingers here in WvW
  9. These are two request. 1: Can we get an option to change the gender of the combat tonics? I am one of those few players that dont play female characters. not appealing to me to roleplay a woman/female. I been a huge fan and supporter of the concept of Combat Tonics. Seeing so many new Combat Tonics is exciting, but just about 90% of them are female models. How about an option to select the gender we want for these? Everybody can be happy. 2: If you use a combat tonic and add to wardrobe the novelty while in use, you will get stuck in the tonic effect. Unable to use portals and mounts. You cant use other tonics to try to cancel it. You forced to relog. How about the option to just right click the UI transformation icon in the boon UI and cancel that way?

  13. I thought the Legend swap system was good enough. Honestly I still feel that way, but Anet see things differently. I mainly play support Rev in WvW. And we keep getting one nerf after another with no compensation. Other support classes get stronger and stronger. Of the issue is that our support can be abused by DPS specs, well do something to separate the two roles so us on the support side can get fair improvements. Vindicator support was very exciting at first, but now it's nerfed into nothingness. You over nerfed our burst healing. Didn't compensate us with better condition control or something.
  14. more and better PvPvE gameplay that is impactful on different scales of players numbers. From Solo stuff to contribute to the war, to larger scale zerg stuff to contribute to the war

  18. I use to run spply and build up siege defense at SMC. but it wasnt rewarding. I would drop down to Zero Participation in doing it, even though it was an important role. It wasnt as fun as playing support to the team ( which is my main role in group play), but building defenses is also something I enjoyed. but I missed out on so much progress because of the flawed participation system. I would have to rely on generous commanders to share participation for my efforts. Which just wasnt something most Commanders did. So I stopped doing it. Sad really. I want more ways to play the game, not less. But this is what poor game design theory gets you in MMOs now days. Defense isnt valued because the developers think everything should just be killing killing and more killing. This the same flawed mentality the Vanilla GW2 developers had with the Anti Trinity/Pro Everything DPS model that was boring as hell back then.
  19. its 2024 and yall are STILL focused on new Population Control Methods in WvW instead of getting NEW WvW Content! The new Server Reconstruction system, Alliances etc, will just destroy the last bit of Community bonding left in the game mode, Before everything in WvW turns into Guild Dictatorships. And still we will get NO NEW GAMEPLAY FEATURES AND CONTENT IN GENERAL FOR WVW. New Guild Tags, same old fighting, same tactics, same structures, same tag zergs and all. Nothing will change other than the Guild Tag running everything. And they all pretty much do the same things. I have played with a number of different tags and guilds. they all play 99% the same. Where the NEW CONTENT. Something that changes up gameplay and the way people play WvW!? How many more years we have to wait for NEW WVW CONTENT ANET!!!???
