  2. So, probably after the next conquest season, this will be addressed with a 15% nerf. Just going by their history and how they approach.
  3. No. Op specs ruined tha game, and drove away players. As far as I can tell people are enjoying pve and pvp hasn't lost that many players as far as I can tell. If anything there is more activity without anyone one thing drastically cry worthy. Some polishing is needed but a little time will tell what really needs to be done once they work out the bugs. Pvp just needs some Content now or very soon, otherwise it will drop even more in population after the "ooh, new" wears off.

  5. I wondered if this could be an issue, or perhaps NPCs could read the connections because it is server side, and without any loss and only lag, then no UPS should be exceeded.

I was thinking about how in some games where they have a police or guard force, and when you do something in their range that is illegal, they come to you and make an arrest or demand compensation and giving up the stolen goods. Then I started thinking about enemy AI, and how it has a radar for you, giving it an ability to "see" you from a certain "aggro" range, and then of course, make an engagement. Same thing for pets, clones, and minions. I noticed how they can instantly track you if you are in range and then they will engage. So, I conjured up an idea, but of course I can't work out all the details while I'm frying chicken. What if PVP matches had an NPC in the sky, and it's range was the whole map. Then, they would track players speed, and see if it exceeded the game movement limitations at anytime as their "aggro". By movement I mean the max in or out of combat units per second, and this wouldn't be easy to "oops the AI made a mistake" claim. It could also look for those who teleported past their equiped skills, by doing a bar check, which I know is possible because of the old hack videos. But basically a movement watch dog. Catching violators or sus, kill them and put them in respawn for 30 seconds, or perhaps dishonor, with a report for a GM to review. While it could work a variety of ways, I think an NPC AI watchdog could work in multiple ways. It may not be feasible as I have concieved it, but would something of this nature, for any offense be possible in a game like this?
  7. They need to stop making living world, and just make expansions. Or paid DLC, they can stay no sub, but the free mini expansions need to stop. Free content is not sustainable.

  9. A fringe minority asked for a "support thief", the very few weebs living a medical ninja Naruto fantasy. A large chunk was asking for a magical caster based thief, but the argument was we have mesmer. 100x more players wanted a dual sword duelist or a greatsword brawler. They went with the smallest group, which is exactly like anet. Sad thing is, the spec will be trash if it's balanced because it has nothing outside the elite specialization that is "support". You must get it all from the spec alone. Which is why I suggested just making shadowarts defensive and supportive, and not have offensive or stealth boosting traits.
  10. So, are you advocating removal of superspeed from...let's say, scrapper? And, also, half the range of rocket boots and jump shot, and hammer rocket charge? What about also removing or adding the same level of exhaustion to Crystal Configuration: Zephyr as daredevil gets? We want to keep players in the AOE right?
  11. I am sure. Wut? Tempest is ever present. Weaver is ever present. Core ele still viable. "lowest health, lowest armor"... LOWEST DAMAGE OF ALL TIME to worry about. lmao. ELE is in no way shape or form in the need of a buff, and while they will spearhead the release, at least one of you is wise enough to know they are about o hand a wombo combo nerfadooski. Ele is overperforming in vpvp regardless of "popularity", id be willing to bet my account the average ele user is in the 1500s or 1600s

  13. You have a extra, 3rd stunbreak, on a 36s? cooldown. I know you fail to see my reasoning, because your class is loaded and you hate thief with a passion. These are not reasonable nerfs at all. They need to slap 10 seconds on your f skills, and I'll watch you squeal. It's ok though, I'm certain I'll adapt, but your lot will be back on here whining about the next thing, probably the same skills you recommended. Sadge. Honestly they should make every stunbreak 50s for every class and remove ammo and stunbreaks in profression skills. That would be the best move.
  14. They should slap on 10 seconds to all your F skills and remove the ability for F3 to stunbreak. That would be reasonable.

No, the meta will just be a tank fest and kill the game. Old dogs member the tank fest that killed it, we member. This is just a husk. A minion of the old. I played the game long enough perhaps, if you get your way. I'd be bitter enough to pray that enough to close the company would feel the same and leave.
  16. Yeah, but the tactics and functionality aren't changing because they have shaped it this way for years...so lol Ele shouldn't be getting buffed, that's a horrible decision. Ele has the SAME presence is games because if it's versatilty,, perhaps greater in today's game. You literally are just making circular arguments that don't even kinda make sense. Duelist get outrotated....yep...they are not roamers. When they build to roam, they can pretty much keep up on every plane but z...which is limited in maps save kylo. Side nodera can literally have 2-3 money's chasing them and control the point. Just try killing a weaver.... Roamers are not duelist are not side noders are not the same. They are not equal, and the only one that might suffer is duelist, unless spelled more for team fight as they can adapt. Selfish builds get chewed up in +1 scenarios. Side noders are not murderers and can hold against multi. Dude in this thread said he can strategiE against the number 1 plus one in the game, but not thief? So, the action is to nerf thief? This is so biased, I can't stop laughing. Anet listed to this kind of reasoning for years and now look where we 😆
  17. The class gatekeeps others that once performed these roles, benched. Even if the other classes that perform these roles tries to compete, they are wasted, and eliminated. The only competitor for any of these roles, is guardians, at support. Imagine a world where mage beats a warrior in a melee ranged duel....you don't have to....just play gw2. Insane. Some goober will probably say it takes more skill to play ele than war.... Lol, ok 👍
