W2Z2 length is fine; it does not take significantly longer than the other zones. This is similarly the case with W2Z3, you just need to learn the shortcuts. Tribulation mode is another matter, but cloud skip potentially solves that issue for W2Z2. What I find concerning so far this year is that there appears to be a significant variability in the player's rate of movement. I have found pixel perfect jumps to randomly fail quite often. I have tried with frame limiter set to 60fps, and set to unlimited, and 60fps helps a little. The most egregious occurance of this for me was jumping the big flowers in W1Z1 trib, after landing on one I would inexplicably gain what appeared to be super speed and my follow up jump would launch me for miles... and into the grass. Which as you all know, is lava. I also found wall jumping to be almost impossible, it took me 10 minutes to get my one and only success, and of course dodge jump failed afterward. Actually dodge jumping has a pretty high failure rate now too. It seems like the dx11 upgrade did something to the rate that the game updates the player's position maybe? In any case, it's actually quite infuriating to play trib mode right now because of this. Also please rename exploration mode back to infantile, we all know that anyone playing that mode isn't seriously interested in SAB and just wants the rewards. Better to call a spade a spade than somehow validate it. It's even more on the nose because the cloud walkways get in the way of any serious exploration anyway.

The pauldrons are up twice for 25 statuettes, it seems like perhaps one of them should be the trousers, which no longer appear in the recent BL items tab.

I played WoW Classic for a bit to see if it truly lived up to the rose-tinted window I was comparing it to. It did. Whatever magic WoW had back in the day was not just fond memories, it was a genuinely good game and still is. It's sort of funny now because the only thing better in the newest WoW expansions are the cinematics and a couple of graphical effects. The game probably peaked at Wrath, but even then... I hated Arenas, dailies, crit reduction in pvp etc. Maybe I only liked Wrath because it wasn't Burning Crusade. In any case, I still hold GW2 far higher than even Classic for PvP, because GW2's action mechanics put emphasis on positioning and active damage avoidance instead of simply range and LOS.

OP listed everything I dislike about WoW and why I stopped playing it long ago, as plus points. kitten? You don't get stronger in WoW, you just get less weak. Every expansion is the same - your power level is reset, your old gear is garbage, ha ha time to rush to max and grind again. GW2 neatly sidesteps that nonsense and puts the emphasis firmly on player skill with a dash of map completion. Also let's be perfectly honest, even the most heated argument on these forums or in game in GW2, utterly pales in comparison to the wretched rage soup that passes as discourse in the WoW community.

Even better, and in keeping with roughly how well your feedback would be received, why not just delete the vindicator's dodge ability entirely by random chance after executing a random number of dodges within a random timeframe. RNG seeded by your account ID, of course.

They do knacker the social side a little bit, but somehow GW2 in general just manages to be this paragon of player interaction I have not found elsewhere. Maybe it's the game features steering folk, or the sorts of players the game attracts. I don't know, but GW2 is what I play when I fancy having conversations that extend beyond 'alpha is primary'.

How dumb, the one skill you could use to actually cut through endless spam and start a combo is basically useless now. Oh well.

General PvE celestial works great, it's pretty hard to get killed in a hybrid spec with celestial and Vindicator is no exception. When you get a dozen mobs on you just switch to blue skills for a while to increase sustain. I tend to run it with Jalis. But yeah obviously the damage it deals is going to be lacklustre since Vindicator doesn't offer much in the way of condition damage bonuses.

I did it all without a guide, save for a single scale that was driving me bonkers which a guildie gave me a hint for... I was actually standing right next to it. Egg on my face... Or should I say, scale! Anyway. It's not that hard. I found it kind of cute watching the Skyscale grow up. It sounds like you don't enjoy the game. Why not take a break?

Players don't need to check 3rd party sites for anything, all the information is available already for those prepared to look. Skyscale eggs is a great example: You are supposed to follow the clues, not cheese it by googling. If you do decide to go that route, then having to flip between google and the game is only something you do until you realise the game window can be resized.

Would be neat if that dodge could knock down and eat stability stacks, that'd make a bunny hop type build a pretty good zerg diver.

I don't see why not, but the legendaries bought for money should be visually distinct in some way - and this should apply to any legendary equipped by an account that didn't craft it. You get your EZ legendary, but everyone knows you're actually super lame because your Bolt's footfalls are brown instead of blue 😛

Was kind of hoping an SAB Skyscale skin would have been available. I'd buy that for a dollar!

You know you could go Celestial Renegade and be tough AND powerful. IMO pure bunker isn't great in WvW since no amount of defence will stop a zerg from rolling over you, and 1v1 eventually becomes 1vX.

One of my wife's friends is going through something similar - she broke up with him, but he is the father of her two children.
