Players don't need to check 3rd party sites for anything, all the information is available already for those prepared to look. Skyscale eggs is a great example: You are supposed to follow the clues, not cheese it by googling. If you do decide to go that route, then having to flip between google and the game is only something you do until you realise the game window can be resized.

I don't see why not, but the legendaries bought for money should be visually distinct in some way - and this should apply to any legendary equipped by an account that didn't craft it. You get your EZ legendary, but everyone knows you're actually super lame because your Bolt's footfalls are brown instead of blue 😛

You know you could go Celestial Renegade and be tough AND powerful. IMO pure bunker isn't great in WvW since no amount of defence will stop a zerg from rolling over you, and 1v1 eventually becomes 1vX.

One of my wife's friends is going through something similar - she broke up with him, but he is the father of her two children. He is a useless self loving mother's boy who can do nothing wrong according to his coddling Mum. Yet he has been cheating for years, before they even got married as it turns out. Relaxed? Tribulation mode? No. Tribulation mode is not about relaxation, it is quite the opposite ha.

It's a waste of money, one can easily get enough continue coins from the regular mode. If someone is consuming more than that, then it may not be possible for them to finish trib at all since dying *does* reset your position.

Let's face it: You had this entire time to try tribulation mode without the infinite continue crutch, and you did not. You had this entire time to do the math on how many regular continue coins you could buy with just one day's bauble bubbles from the dailies, and you did not. You weren't going to do tribulation mode even if you had the crutch, since you could have earned hundreds if not thousands of lives in a few days and just used those. Anyway, the festival is basically over now, so you have a full year to tell yourself "I would have the courage to try tribulation mode if only...". Or, you know, you could convert bubbles to baubles, buy a few hundred lives and get in there RIGHT NOW and probably finish world 1 zone 1. Then, next year, you would have proven yourself perfectly capable of at least trying trib mode without a silly needless crutch. You can do it!

Ah all those confused reactions from people who disagree, but it's only because they don't understand 😛

Usually the jump helps you, especially in trib mode. I have found it less likely to trigger if you approach slowly, but I usually make every effort to trigger the jump so I am not certain.

If you skip trib cloud and assassin in w2z2, you have a chance. Fastest I did w2z1 was about 7-8 minutes, w2z3 was longer at probably 15 minutes, but good God w2z2 is just an unpredictable nightmare. So many places where rng can mess you over repeatedly or that just take ages - trib cloud, the jump pads on pillars, and the fish deliveries come to mind. Buuut you can avoid most of that if you are precise with wall jumps.

So there is this idea people have that trib mode will utterly drain you of resources, but as long as you have a reasonable stack to begin with, what will happen is you start finishing the trib levels and earning more coins and baubles than you lose. I would not wait for the infinite continue coin - just watch a video or two and try trib anyway. Once you get good at world 1 for example, it is perfectly reasonable to finish it in 30 minutes. World 2 is much longer, but don't be afraid to try even without the infinite coin!

I honestly never, ever hit it until the other night where I died on the spikes immediately afterward. On my return I did not dodge roll as the finger missile was already gone, so a random mouse wiggle must have changed my approach just enough. I haven't died to it since - my solution is to just pretend the finger missiles respawn 😉

It is random but honestly, they are worthless now. Have a look on the TP and take your pick - you can basically get any one of them for 10g, and in some cases for as low as 2g.

There is a tiny patch before the 'final mountain' in w1z1 that I usually dodge into to avoid the finger missile after running down the tree line. I did not know there was a player sized lava pit there. There is, and I fell in it once. Now I am paranoid every time I approach it.
