  1. If you're around others when you get up, and can't kill something easy/quick, try to run to where you can be seen and easily rezed (not in a hot spot). Sometimes I still struggle with this, it's a good plan...but being in a berzerk frenzy, while gasping your last breaths, isn't really conducive to thinkin' about things.
  2. Open your mount die page while you're looking at the view page on the shop, re-dye your mount (you don't have to set it) and pick any other mount in the shop, then back to the one you want to look at and it will be that/those colors in the shop. If you don't have a multi color skin on Your page you'll only get the main color on the store page, but you can still see how it would look a different color.
  3. Yes, mainly Longbow - Rifle or Longbow - Axe/Warhorn, but I swap around sometimes to break things up.
  4. If they run, I break out the rifle or longbow. 😈
  5. Revenant locks you into your utility skills, everything is preset according to which spirit you are on, you can only have two at a time. If you don't like micromanaging your skills that's a good choice. Whichever you choose, test all the weapons and have an assortment for different situations no matter what you play. All that being said, a warrior is a Warrior.
  6. Just start playing, start in a lower area and do hearts and events, it'll come back quickly.
  7. Endgame starts the minute you turn 80, you can do pretty much anything at any time and go anywhere you want, your mind and any expansions you don't have are your only limit...the only costly mistake you can really make is blowing all your gold on expensive minis.
  8. I'm left handed, I play with arrows and number pad with num-0 as jump and space-bar as interact/activate. I also use a trackball mouse, it might solve the problem of facing and orienting oneself, you can get quick and smooth easily without feeling like you're playing slap-mouse. You can operate the buttons with your ring finger and thumb, and roll the ball with your middle and index fingers...it's worth trying if you aren't doing good with a regular mouse. I can't even use a regular mouse because the Trackball is so vastly superior.
  9. I'm prone to getting carsick and eye strain, I do spend as little time as possible in a few zones and prefer the Skimmer over any other mount, and I only play ranged, because you don't have to jump around as quickly ...I also can't play a Charr or Asura because they bounce too much when they run (Sylvari are the smoothest). Sometimes when it hits me hard, I sit around a in a zone where there's active chat and just watch and participate in that. Those are my personal workarounds, not technical but practical and all you can do after you've got the settings as good as you can. Maybe this will help someone, good luck.
  10. So what happened, did everyone in the guild decide they were going to dye their gear red, and one guy shows up in gold and black armor? I don't think that's an actual crime.
  11. Drakes have an AOE tail swipe, that never goes out of style in the open world, and they can swim, so they can be your full-time bud wherever you go.
  12. I have pretty bad dyslexia and memory problems, I can react/respond perfectly fine to anything open world has to offer, but reading and remembering is strenuous at times, I've been playing since the start and am only now trying to complete the main and personal stories. If they were all jumping puzzles, fighting, and trying to get to hard places I would have been done long ago.
  13. That's pretty much how it's set up now, you can play without ever having to worry about activating signets, the only time I ever use them is when I'm playing with others in open pve situations and it looks like a total party wipe is only a second away, when soloing I really just forget about them and only focus on weapon skills, and personal strategy. I'll explain so you don't take me as a 'forum pro', or someone who doesn't apply the advice they give, to themselves. I am remedial beyond belief, so much so that you'd be disgusted at my level of ineptitude, I can't even play really in groups because of 'things', or any other MMOs because of their deep-deep complexities, I can't even do a lot of things in GW2 as it's just too much for me, so I run the easiest ranged class (preferably with a pet, because it gets lonely out there when you can't play with others without being more of a burden than you're worth) with the least amount of complexities and buttons as is possible. You won't really be missing out on anything by running straight passive signets.
  14. True, it's hooked to jump, I have mine rebound to 0 on the keypad (left handed) and it comes on auto-style there too.
