It has a lot of prefixes but from my experience if Gear doesn't specialize doesn't it mean that is rather mediocre? Gear that has only 3 attributes has double the amount of stats values. Isn't it better to have a higher number of given stats than larger stats overall? Thanks for the info, Cheers

I want to roll over everything because I have exotic or ascended gear. If I play Diablo and I have a full set of ancient legendaries or legendary sets I expect to roll over normal difficulties. Difficult mobs should be reserved for areas that were designed with group play in mind and for areas that are for solo players. I hate dark souls. If I got good gear I expect things to be easy like in any other RPGs. If you want to make the game harder please be my quest but give us better gear. Zones shouldn't be created with the mindset that you need nearly the best gear in the game. -

I did that because HoT hero challenges offer 10 points instead of 1. I already have a full set of exotic gear with 3 ascended pieces aka rings and an amulet. I was expecting rollover mobs. Since that is natural if I wanted to compare this game to other MMOs. When I changed from my regular guardian to dragon hunter I noticed an increase in damage. -
Heya, So yesterday I went to Heart of Thorns expansions areas and i got totally obliterated by the mobs there. So I have no problems with mobs at core Tyria when I went to the HoT area I noticed a huge difficulty spike to the mobs' damage etc. Is it something natural when it comes to expansions? You are missing the point . I am not saying that they should abandon old classes , i am saying they shouldn't focus on end game , which elite specs are . They should add something new to old classes to make them interesting and still make new classes or classes every expansion. Is creating one or 2 classes every 3 years is really that hard. I think not.

FFXIV changes how every class play every expansion , they rework it plus they add new classes not mention every class has is it own story every expansion. The only classes i liked were revenant and the guardian. i do not like the other classes. What does it matter if there is 3 cloths/leathers/mail classes to the endgame ?

So you basically saying , it is good that they not changing much ? Maybe that is the reason i haven't touched this game in years. Creating 1 or 2 classess for every expansion is too much ? I do not know maybe because it is a standard . Elite specs are like advance classes of older mmo's like in lineage 2 . I didn't worked out then so i do not get why it is used here.
