Good luck to them with the expansion and whoever is buying new expansion. Part of the problem is they mess something up for real and then leave it as it is for looooooong time (you would be lucky if they tried to change that thing again), god damn dead traits and skills, I myself don't think expansion is the way to go , and if they are developing expansion they can just say that, no need for the lack of communication, and sometimes they come up with very lame idea that you would wonder how did that pass even. Example of bad idea is Deadeye (specially in wvw). Another bad idea is the "trade-offs", if they make all the traits and skills good, people will have choices and would make different builds, if elite spec stands out all the time and people always choosing that elite spec no matter what because it is outperforming other builds in almost every situation then they can go ahead and target that elite spec, that is just my opinion.

Tooltip bug won't be fixed, you don't have to worry about that. As for 50% nerfs , they can target mantras I think and nerf blink range while at it.

I said it as a joke but I know that they can do something like that, with such explanation too. :astonished:

I tried to make it work a bit in the little time that i tried to play, and you know how much I spend time playing mesmer, let it be, they don't want you to play chrono or mirage =p Core is next if that is playable xD

well said while trying to keep it short =) I do remember you Ansau, but why do I have the feeling that I haven't see you here for a while, add for the things you have added it was okay for some classes to be immune to cc, but mirage to break stun with grandmaster trait was too much. We also kept seeing REMOVE/NERF Elusive Mind posts from none mesmers that didn't even know that mirage can dodge with mirage cloak while being stunned, and sadly Anet are one of those that didn't know that as well it seems, which they did deleted Elusive Mind "the defense focused trait" , wait deleting it would have been better coz at the end it was waaaay too harmful for the mesmer that whenever I see a mirage using that Elusive Mind in WvW I whisper them and I tell them to not use that trait coz it cripples them (regardless of enemy or ally). 6 sec exhaust , who do they think this is? daredevil???? :astonished:

One dodge is too strong.Mirage can perma evade even with one dodge, and they can still use many different skills specially with one dodge they have so many options.Energy sigil should be changed that it gives them half dodge only , it is too strong. And I have noticed that with 2 jaunts they can catch everyone or runaway if they wanted, this needs a hotfix, either reduce the range or make it 1 charge only.GS2 obviously kill multiple targets with just one single click, reduce its damage or remove the clone generating from it. And most importantly now mirage is SOOOOOO much fun to play .... The whole class had its fun removed from it, they kept nerfing core coz they had issues with chrono and mirage then they deleted chrono, and then they deleted mirage, I heard people say core can sill work to certain degree, good luck it is next on the line! =p prepare the 50% nerfs!

Next is core mesmer! we need a 50% nerf! and since they nerf anything by 50%, I think mesmers having only 1 set of weapons is good idea "Mesmer can no longer swap weapons". But isn't expectations are usually 50% nerfs? and sometimes a little bit above.

I stopped playing before even the patch preview which i am glad I did, don't worry, they are reading all the feedback, they heard that core mesmer is eeh still working, it will be next on the list =p You can't be disappointed as mesmer, you just expect nerfs and nerfs and nerfs ... the 50% nerfs xD

I mostly came back just for few friends that I have, but even with that i am not playing much anymore, and each patch makes me not wanna bother even. The only thing that looks interesting is the 50% nerfs, these just makes me wanna read the forums! =p

They just love to nerf things by 50% or more if it is mesmer changes don't they? They are really hopeless. Don't get your hopes up, they just nerf they don't give anything back.

I don't know, why it exist, but i do believe that both Elusive Mind and Dune Cloak are there as a meme, Dune Cloak might have some uses here and there (not worth picking over IH but still), Elusive Mind hurts the mesmer and cripples them for real, would appreciate if they disabled or deleted Elusive Mind so no new mesmers try it and hurt themselves.

First of all, let me address you since you want to have a fit and none of the other mesmer mains seem to gotten angry over my comment. I said get rid of STUN BREAK ON DODGE. The reason I also mentioned clones is they produce TOO MUCH. I'm not saying gut it. I'm not saying make clones useless, when I mean choose between the two I meant pick having creating a massive amount of clones and forgo the stunbreak on dodge, OR forgo creating all of those extra clones and ambushes for the stunbreak. Keep your shatters, keep your stealth, I DON'T HAVE AN ISSUE WITH YOUR POWER. I have an issue with your class having a dodge that bypasses anyway to lock it down because it's supposely squishy. Thief is just as squishy and has a 'normal' dodge (they get swiftness or they do Condi damage. I know how to find the mesmer, fight the mesmer, whatever. My main issue is you guys bypassing a BASIC MECHANIC because your dodge, for some reason, has to be special and not get locked down. Heck, I complain more about this than your ambushes because honestly, if a lot mesmer 'mains' could not stunbreak on dodge than a lot of people would not try to cheese on the class so much. Okay? Take a breath. I know plenty of people in here that are screaming to take away Fresh Air ele damage (lol at those people) and the Weaver dodges, but I'm not going to hop on the actual people that listed reasonable tweaks/minor nerfs to not make Weaver into a brainless Condi not like the rest of the classes are turning into. I will save viquing troubles to reply, what stunbreak are you talking about?, you see our main issue was and still most people who talk about mesmers (mirage) specifically, have NO idea how things work, and sadly anet choose to listen to them (sorry anet but thats true), it started with what? nerf elusive mind people, then til today we see some strange things. Now as for dodging while stunned etc, come on, some classes can't be stunned even. The only thing that we mesmers might accept losing dodging even while cc'd for is getting the things we have lost over these past few years, and then people would complain even more again (best is to go through patches to see what i am talking about) and to actually have knowledge about the skills of mesmers. And the rest of the issue, people should really be specific about what they talk about, condi mesmer or power mesmer, there is big difference between them. I wanna see a power mesmer not using mirage cloak when stunned etc, gonna be fun, even condi won't work, but power will be fun for sure =p

Can we have the laserbeam out of the mesmer's eyes please? I think that would be more fitting. But then we might have to reduce the laserbeams to one eye only xD

I think you should start playing power mesmer instead of condi, the Mirage Cloak change you want can NEVER go through anymore, and False Oasis changes says you are playing condi as well, seriously go play power mesmer and see things clearly lol, I do not want to be playing core mesmer because both chrono and mirage are screwed. Or honestly just try to play without being able to use Mirage Cloak while cc'd (aka just don't use it), include immobilize, really try it, specially as power, it is gonna be so much fun for you. I didn't include wvw thieves that plays stabby thief, some play it as DE and some as core and some as DD, they will stab you and you will die instantly don't worry. Some classes have high up time of stability, so don't go around and try to nerf mirage cloak like that, and the heal nerf also unacceptable, lots of the mesmer changes you want to make for mesmers are unacceptable.

Don't worry, now they will show you that they "take" feedback =pI have not logged for several days now, and I don't think I wanna log, their whole balance changes are meh ... they are afraid to nerf things, and they just keep on throwing the darts and kill one build or 2 "literally" kill, and then we have to wait another 3 months to see that they ignore things again, and then wait another 3 months .. Also even if you nerfed all these things, you know that there is one person ... no actually 2!! that will complain, you know them, I don't think I need to put their names xD

WE DON'T want to be close to most f the classes, get these ideas out of your head.And it is enough that ambushes have cd i guess This tradeoff joke needs to apply to other classes, it seems that the tradeoff is only applying to mesmers these days and all the damn issue is that core got nerfed heavily during their dartboard nerfs over the years. I suggest you go back to your hiatus xDMesmers keep getting nerfed and nerfed and nerfed and will keep getting nerfed, but I guess this is what happens when the people who make changes have no idea what they are doing. And yes soon core will be the "strongest" mesmer pick..... and then they will nerf it more! Oooh it will help you a lot if you look into the changes yourself, just find what time you stopped and then go read patches from that time , all you will find are nerfs everywhere and randomly!

Like I said in your thread, mesmer will be removed permanently once they tradeoff mirage.Why they officially cant state that they are going to delete mesmer from the game? This would save a lot of time and dont delude people with "hope in the better future" eksdeeThis tradeoff idea, I have no idea where they got that idea from, but all I can say is, if they didn't nerf EVERYTHING in mesmer, maybe then core would still be good, but they nerfed everything that whatever they nerf now kills builds lol The problem we are dealing with people who want mirage to excel in longer fights and nerfed everything that made that possible, and they also see Elusive Mind as defense focused trait. Good luck to us, we will need it.

I will just "toss" my experience in regards of BG matches, it can't get more lame than it was (and probably still), I haven't faced Bg or be with them for long time, which i am very thankful for. If you are in BG, you will outnumber people (in before rambo comes and say they don't, they do), BG outnumbers other servers, I don't zerg, I like to play in small groups, so in my case if i am with them I have nothing to do, if i am against them well ... nothing to do as well, because they outnumber you and most of their things are t3, and most of them do hide. But thanks to them I have Aurora now, they tossed us once against them this year and it was so much fun that I decided that it was good time to pve. This is from a person who used to spend 99.9% of the time in WvW. (I still do) when I am playing.

Ah come on Curunen, you know VERY well that they take nerfs suggestions and implement them very fast, but any buffs suggestions they forget to place them in patches and just toss them in the garbage can xDPlease don't give them ideas, even though the reality they will probably kill mirage and will kill me with it. After all I am against this tradeoff thing that they came up with out of nowehre, its like it is their way of nerfing everything that almost everyone have aka the expansions so they can introduce new expansion with new OP elites so people have to buy it. There is class ehm ehm I will not mention, that its core is stronger than its elites in most of the situations, they can add tradeoff to its core xD Jokes aside I am truly against the tradeoffs for any class (Specially with the time they take between each patch)
