I believe the game's been going in the wrong direction since they started doing all the living world stuff instead of focusing on the overworld content & expansions to expand on that, Path of Fire was the last good expac IMO... So I'm glad they're starting with a blank slate with Guild Wars 3 which has already been announced by NCSoft to be in development afaik.

According to the post you will just be randomly assigned to a world for the duration of that matchup season (8 weeks). So, if you really enjoy running with a certain person or guild then you'll want to join their guild or alliance. I don't really want to join their guilds. I'm a more casual player and this seems to hurt those people. I like to join the guilds I know now from time to time. I am not saying this is a bad idea but it seems like I'll just be thrown into a world where I don't know people and the matchup might be terrible. If you're a casual player that likes to join from time to time then pretty much nothing is changing for you. It would be the same thing if most of the guilds on your current server transferred off to somewhere else and you were left following totally new and different guilds that had transferred onto the server. Well that isn't true. I know the commanders and people on my server. Most of whom I probably won't see when this happens. Or at least there is the potential of losing contact with those people. That is a huge loss and change for me personally. For the record I realize that the 1 person like myself might just have to bear it. Just vocing my concerns that I see so far.If you like a certain person, you can add them to your friends and join their guild/alliance.

Oh man, I absolutely love this concept and can't wait to see it implemented. It'll be sad to see dragonbrand disappearing, but in its wake a WvW worth playing and automatic restructuring sounds like the best way to go... being spawn camped and unable to play at all because you aren't playing peak hours really sucks.

Desire: Endless Repair Contract I always play niche/fun/gimmicky builds, and always wipe multiple times during story missions, I'd love to not have to worry about that and keep powering through the story/fractals without having to exit and have to hit up repairs every few minutes. Pretty much been my lifetime goal since it's come out, but I can never get anywhere near that amount of gold. Server: NA

why was underwater discarded? that's like the #1 thing they need to improve rn. underwater masteries, underwater revamp and make it good again, cuz right now underwater is so grindy with no mounts/masteries/etc

as a result of mounts, underwater has become my least favorite content, where I was okay with doing it before, I only do it now for heart quests and the like... I definitely think a living world step should introduce an underwater mount of some kind.

Did you do a windows update? There was one that broke a lot of people's shortcus/etc.

An expansive rework of the underwater combat system, along with underwater masteries, and of course entire maps underwater that utilize these masteries and provide lots of meaningful gameplay.
