I don't quite get how you think the BL chest was an april fools joke. That would mean the players who do the level 10 story mission every week get an april fool's joke on them every, well, every time they complete the mission and get a not so exciting drop.

I'm not sure. As it is now I'd rather unequip my only set and transfer it to another character than buy another. Making it legendary would be more convenient for people in my position. I'd say I'd actually be more likely to buy another for the skin if they were legendary. As it is now, I like the skin, if I buy I'll have another unbreakable set floating about my account. If it was legendary it would be much more concvenient if I wanted the skin on multiple characters. For people who don't have an unbreakable set, they would have more reason to buy one. Also, this is the WvW board.

I'm thinking someone could claim to be better(skilled/equipped or both) than either of the two people who just beat them would have been if it was 1v1. you're better, that's your advantage, they had numbers, that was theirs. A buff would give you another advantage. I think for capping/deffending t would really change things. Defending a structure you already have walls, can put siege in hard to reach places, can be pretty hard for a small group to get anyway if you are careful. Should you get a buff to help on top of that because there ae more trying to get in? Then when the squad arrives to defend the enemy gets buffed, suddenly their siege gollem can punch a hole in the wall with one hit? In PvP would you go solo against all 5 enemies at once? You wouldn't get a buff for trying it. Should it really be different in WvW?

Only question is why make it non repeatable?

Been on for quite a while. I was meaning the one that just happened tonight, the only notice I saw was when it was happening, Game will reset in 3 minutes WvW players are being rediredted to PVE, it said Lion's Arch but I was redirected to Ember Bay because that was where I was before I entered WvW.

The update justnow for example, I had just killed the camp supervisor when I got the message that we were being redirected out of WvW. How about say, a 5 minute warning? In 5 Minutes you will be redirected to PvE for update. Just a bit of time to decide if what you are doing is worth continuing. just seemed a bit sudden this evening. It has happened before that I'ver been close to finishging something in WvW and got the message that we are being redirected out.

What I would like is an ability to choose to die in PvP, Lik, if 2 enemies are near and with full health, I'm downed, no allies near, the enemies are letting me bleed out, next to no chance of rally. How about press 6 insta death.

Mordremoth? He has presence there but I don't think he actually sets foot in it.

Problem would be that there were people working on Frostfang when the new weapons got announced. Assuming they prefer Jormag's Axe they already had to choose, complete Frostfang or start from scratch. I'm currently working on Nevermore. I have the Raven Staff and Gift of Nevermore. Hurtling through the other two gifts. As it is now Nevermore is the staff I want. I like ravens. I wouldn't want to trade Nevermore for The Bifrost or a Gen 3 legendary. If we imagine that Gen 4 legendary weapons can change like the Gen 3s only it's the Spirits of the Wild. And it turns out that I prefer Raven's Insight. I've already got to choose whether I want to finish off Nevermore or start again on Raven's Insight. Then to rub it in the people who already have Nevermore get to swap. Would, "I was working on it," get a swap once they finish? If you could swap if you had already started a previous legendary with similar effects. Going with the Spirits of the Wild example, I'm not currently working on Howler. Years ago I crafted a Wolf Statue, must have been thinking of it at oe point but there is a Wolf Statue in my bank. Maybe I'd think hey, I'll finish off Howler, that Wold Statue means I've started it, then I'll swap it to Wolf's Voice... Then, I'll unlock the Raven's Voice skin for that.

Seems od if the bundle is considdered a gamble. The it would cost more to buy the maid and butler outfits separately. Then theres the emote and makeover kit. The 5 random dyes are more of a bonus than a gamble. You might get a good one, but if you don't you still get a bundle that is a lot cheaper than the combined gem value of buying each piece on its own.

What if a squad leader could check a box that disables minis for followers in a squad? You join, your mini disappears, comes back automatically when you leave the squad. Might see some limited use in PvE, I sometimes see before tequatl people requesting you hide minis, even though it will be automatically when the population rises enough. If a solo player wishes to run with a mini in WvW, their choice. Enemies can see it, to them it appears as a green dot on the map that could be mistaken for an ally. If they are happy with that so be it. If you had the option to have a mini free squad, would practically solve any problem with minis in WvW. I mean, if they really wanted to troll they could leave the squad but follow the tag with a mini. But if somebody is trying to troll the squad they can probably do worse than that to cause problems.

I have Frostfang, I wouldn't be interested in swapping for Jormag's rending. I also have Eureka, the fire mace legendary, but I wouldn't trade it for Primordus' Tail. But yeah, that's what would happen if we could trade one Legendary Weapons with a similar theme for a Gen 3. Theres Eureka, the torches, Flames of War, The Predator who would they be tradeable for Primordus skins? Would Kudzu owners get to trade for Mordreoth's Flight? Would Sharur owners get Zhaitan's Weight?

Just picture it, a siege turtle race where the jetter and the shooter come together as one, to soar with the wind and speed through the water in Tyria's most intense aquatic sport. Only one player per team would need to own a siege turtle, the jetter, as you don't need to own one to mount one as a shooter.

To be fair, I'd say if you choose not to hide a mini in WvW on your head be it. Maybe somebody wants to run with one, they have the choice to turn it off and don't. Some players do stuff that allerts enemies. One time we defended a tower. We won. I was left inside repairing a wall, I didn't notice them back untill the chat box said, "Enemy player cheers." They might have got the tower that time if the enemy hadn't emoted. In that case, what they did was worse for their side than running with a mini would have been. Were people who are complaining about minis there before equipment templates were a thing? Back when you needed to change your equipment manually when going between PVE and WvW if you had a diierent set for each? Ok, we have equipment templates, we automatically equip our WvW gear in WvW... But theres still that one click to get rid of minis... that click... it's unbearable. Problem would be if you are using stealth while defending or attacking the keep the mini would give the game away. Sometimes when I am alone and know I can't beat the enemy group I'll hide in a tower, if they move on without seeing me I take it back. A mini would make me more likely to be noticed.

They should totally make that a skin. Like a permanent hologramatical/chessboard skyscale.

I'm not so sure about that, my grandparents were born in the 1930s, a quick search on google, washing machines were about long before that.

TBH, WoW, being a Blizard game is not a good company to follow the example of. Overwatch is by Blizard. I remember Officer D.Va being the first event skin I got, back when we needed to do the Heroes of the Storm stuff to get it. Then a few weeks after the event ended Blizard put Officer D.Va in the loot boxes with all the other non event skins. And those of us who did the HotS got nothing. That's why I'd say, don't request them to go down he Blizard route. Rings true here though. Say they make the Skyscale quests easy. Anyone can get it in an afternoon... What about those of us who did the full set of collections to earn a Skyscale? Do we get something or do we get forgotten about like Blizard did when they released Officer D.Va in loot boxes?

In most games that you get equipment you need to play through the game before you get the best stuff. Let's say Skyrim, Dragonrend makes most dragons easy, but you need to play the story to get it, you don't just begin the game with your character knowing it. That's the same for people who just started playing today. Not just games, any hobby. Say you decide to start martial arts... "Can I have a black belt and practice with a sword now? Those guys have black belts and get to... I know they trained, but they started years ago, it's fine for them." They trained for years and earned their black belts. Just like a new student will have to.

The three day bit is just feeding the Skyscale food. You have to feed it 12 but it will only eat 4 a day. So although it is done over a minumum of 3 days, the actual play time can be done in 3 minutes for that bit. You aren't the first I've seen saying this but some people say it like the three day thing means you need to grind for 72 hours. It's not. For that bit of the quest, feed it four times, over quickly, then you can log out until tomorrow or play elsewhere in game.

I'd still say, even if I knew they would not be sniped, if I could choose to be on a team that would focus on capturing and defending nodes or a team that would go after the forest creatures at the cost of getting decapped, I'd choose the team that caps and defends. For the original post, I don't think it can be any other way than it is currently. PVP, you are fighting each other as well as the creature. Say if I did 90% of the damage, you sneak in, kill me, then kill the beast, I'm out of the fight waiting to respawn. That doesn't change that I did 90% of the damage. Should I get the points even though I was removed from the fight before it died? Should you need to let it ooc, get it's health back then fight it again from the beginning? Then while you are doing that, I come back, roles reverse... Or you kill me after I've damaged it by 90% you're waiting for it to regenerate, my team mate comes along and snipes it, we get the points because you needed to let it ooc. It may be unpleasant to get the last hit sniped by an enemy player, but maybe that last hit gets it is the fairest way that it can be done. https://i.imgur.com/Hn2rDsm.jpg Gotta make the best of it. Wouldn't it make Gen 2 legendaries too easy to get? You need the masteries maxed out to be able to buy the gifts to make the Gift of Maguuma Mastery. If you could forget, just buy one, forget, buy another, forget. Full Gift of Maguuma Mastery with a quarter of the mastery pounts you currently need.

What'sworst is when the whole team gies for it, lets everything get decapped, and it still gets sniped. It was only worth 25 points anyway, I'd rather a team that defends nodes to a whole team that goes after the forest creature like they as important as say, the Stronghold Lord.
