The problem I have with holo is that the heat mechanic is supposed to keep Holosmiths in line without being able to spam everything just like energy does that for Revenant and Initative does that for thief. Except with holo heat barely accumulates so you don't need a big brain to not overheat and dodging (because of a trait but still) just lowers the heat when you're going too high. Damn I'd love being able to dodge on rev or thief and just gain energy or initiative so I can spam my abilities even more. Or imagine being able to dodge to reduce the CD of you skills! Wait Holo can do that aswel..

  3. Imagine making ur game anti social and anti friends by not allowing you to qeue with a friend, most games allow you to qeue ranked with a full party, be happy they don't allow that in gw2
  4. The laser isn't as important as other objective on let's say Capricorn, but I do agree that the jumping pads are very annoying especially when classes like Holo and Weaver with quick sustain use them because they pretty much don't die
  5. Do you play PvP? Above gold? Since when are Weavers powercrept? Warriors are far superior than Weavers
  6. How can you say Rev can't have 25 might but you're allowing Holo and Spellbreaker to confidently have 25 might and literally do as much damage as Rev does? Whilst they have far superior sustain? It's funny that everyone is up for reducing powercreep and nerfing might uptime but when it's focused on their class they suddenly don't want it anymore. Your whole post smells biased, get a grip. because rev puts out the necessary dmg for it's role fine without it , and it is more mobile than both classes put together ... rev is literally insanely balanced now and has a condi counter so there's a trade off it can basically replace thief in higher levels but with a downside of less sustain vs condi classes vs thief's higher sustain across the board (why it's taken generally for it's role as a decapper). yet you're complaining about dmg that needed to be shaved on rev i'm complaining about might generation Holo and Spellbreaker has, I'm not complaining about Revenant. If you could read you'd have figured out that by yourself. I understand completely what you're crying about , don't worry. Good, what are you sour about then? You think Holo and Spellbreaker able to sustain 25 might is balanced? You don't want your precious class to get nerfed because you won't be able to stay in Gold anymore? Get out. Not sour about anything, you're the one complaining about classes because your rev class got nerfed not me. SB is fine (rampage is kitten though), maybe holo can use some dmg shaves. I don't main either , I play everything really and don't really align myself with a specific class - whatever fits the role against the matchup I'm facing.This post has zero things to do with me playing Rev, I didn't mind the Rev nerfs at all they're very good and balanced. However now that Rev gotten his balance treatment it's now the turn of other classes like Holosmith and Spellbreaker to get some balance treatments aswel, starting with shaving off the Might generation they have. You think it's fine that Spellbreaker(dueler, sidenoder) lands 8-10k Arcing slices against heavy armor and an average of 6-7k per every other skill they have because they're able to stack might so easily PLUS they get more benefit from might? Don't forget that most Warrior skills have low CD too. Warrior has become extremely scary to face because of its insane damage potential going parallel with the DPS classes out there. Not only do they have an extended kit to avoid damage and to regenerate health to sustain fights, but if you get caught by one of their many CC's without a stunbreak you can get 100 to 0 really quick. It's absolutely absurd that they do this amount of damage. For Holosmith it's literally the same joke, a high mobile, high sustain, high CC capable class that is able to confidently stack 25 might to do insane dps that can 100 to 0 anyone really fast.

  9. For people who cant evade or know preemptively that the rev burst is coming the rev is a dps class cuz its few high dps quick bursts I'm guessing. I guess Revenant is support then thanks for the feedback guys

  12. Condi is this game is stupidly designed, condi or DoT should work as a AOE skill that keeps ticking damage when you're standing in the AOE, the moment you leave the AOE the DoT should stop. The way it works now is you spam a condi AOE field and everyone insides gets overloaded with condi's but you can't escape it because they'll just stay on you, very poor design. However condi like bleed and poison should stick on the enemy as it's pretty logical, but things like torment and confusion should not stay on the player and should rather be an AOE field and when you leave it the condi's leave too. Burn could be a condi that sticks on the player but a dodge roll would remove the burn. Not sure about soft CC Condi's like chill, slow and immobilize, but damaging condi's should not work the way they do now.

Since Revenant's might uptime got severely reduced and cut the last couple patches even though being a dps focused class, can we start cutting into the might gain of both Holo and Spellbreaker aswel now? Duelists should not have access to half the might uptime Holo and Spellbreaker are putting out.
  14. These weren't nerfs they were fixes. All three of these rifle FIXES were necessary because they made no sense that they did what they used to do.
  15. Yes, Firebrand is the problem in most balance issues but nobody wants to believe it. Revenant is only able to mindlessly spam skills to do high damage because of the sustain firebrands give, without it revs can't keep pressuring in teamfights.Same goes for scourges. This game gives each class healing and sustain even though said class is dps. I have never seen another game where a character is able to heal himself without being a healer PLUS the ability of someone else being a dedicated healer. I understand a healer is necessary in PvE, but I strongly think a healer of the capacity of Firebrand is completely toxic to the PvP genre. Most high damage classes have been designed in a way that they cannot handle pressure so they can't deal high damage whilst being targeted. Firebrands completely remove this negative aspect of damage dealers and allow them to dps whilst being targeted.

Also just because a class isn't a 1v1 class doesn't mean he can win 1v1s. Sindrener wins 1v1s as theif vs warrior. I guess Thief is broken duel spec and needs nerfing now right? Right? I defend Rev from misinformation and exaggerations aswel, I want to see Deathstrike damage nerfed and Shiro F2 damage nerfed, these are the only broken skills on Rev. I defend against assumptioms trying to completely wipe the class by nerfing stuff that don't need nerfing. If you don't think Rev is one of the hardest classes to play together with thief then theres no need to argue with you anymore, just shows the type of classes you're used to (button smashing) and your overall skillevel. Go play your mirage and spam buttons allowing you to win, use your skills that save you in situations you should die because you fucked up. As a rev I can't relate with any of these.

PvP is a side thing nobody upstairs really cares about.A good PvP scene is what keeps a game alive and popular. The only reason Gw2 is still relevant is because of the combat system offering (somewhat) engaging gameplay in PvP or WvW. Theres plenty of MMORPGS that offer way better PvE content than Gw2, but because their combat system is lackluster a lot of us PvP players do not want to bother with it. If Gw2 would completely lose their PvP community so PvE will be the only played thing, the game would die off because theres other games offering way better PvE.

  21. Imagine thinking this is great engaging gameplay and requires skill to spam this many dazes. Mirages aren't even trying to daze for interrupts they'll just spam it untill they get an interrupt and feed of it to stunlock the enemy untill he's dead. It's people like me that are trying to make PvP a more skilled and engaging environment and not a spamfest.
  22. Shackling wave is a 1s cast immobilize that immobilizes for 1s unless more enemies were hit, it's very easy to avoid this You forgot Engi rifle 2 btw
  23. I won't say the two holosmith and deadeye main devs who communicate with us the most (holo got buffed a lot recently) are biased, but mesmer is one of the most nerfed classes. The stun duration etc got buffed when they nerfed condi mesmer
