As the topic says! The drops from twitch were great. I saw streamers with over 34k viewers. So good for them. It's great to see Anet boosting their support. Streaming twitch in the background whilst at work makes me want to jump on and play when I get home!

Found the issue, thanks for the help all. Mistake on my end, the recipe was sitting in my inventory from some time in the past. I had quit playing for a bit and forgot it was there.

Yes I'm certain unfortunately. I went through all the characters that have a crafting discipline. I'm concerned that maybe I purchased it on a character that doesn't have a crafting discipline (if that's possible) and the only way to fix that is to make all my characters have crafting disciplines.

Hey, yes but it is not available from any of the vendors / master crafters in the list.

So I was just ready to craft my legendary sigils and I cannot find the recipe for mystic motes. I am not able to craft it as it does not appear in any of my characters crafting lists. I have 10 characters with crafting disciplines and went through all of them to see if the craft was possible in the list and it is not. I also checked the master crafters and none of them are selling it. My guess it is some sort of bug? Has anyone run into this and had success fixing it?

Did you duo queue? I've pretty much been Gold 3 since the game started and Platinum has always been a wall. Not really sure what else I can do to improve my gameplay to the point I need to get into platinum permanently. Once I get to around 1500ish it seems like they just dump terrible players on my team that are impossible to carry and I end up like doing 40-60% of the damage on my team and top all stats and get dunked.

I am a veteran player who has been through a few breaks and returns. My current guild is not active. I am a shift worker, so even though I am OCX I can often be on during NA prime. I don't like using discord, but will use it occasionally when necessary. Partly because I am married and will be playing on the laptop whilst watching tv with the wife. I am also keen for alliances once they come. But I am currently on Anvil Rock and not willing to move until then. A strong WvW focus would be a plus. I have no experience with raids and would be interested in training for that. Otherwise I am pretty much across all other content. I don't like to spend alot of time on one part of the game or it gets monotonous, although I go through stages where I might only want to do WvW, sPvP, trains or whatever. Feel free to message in game if your guild is recruiting and you think I am a fit.

I've almost completed the Ice brood saga storyline and have stacked up a bunch of masteries points. No idea how these ones work tbh. Previous masteries seemed more clear. Any chance of an invite? I am an Oceanic. But I sometimes have weird hours as I am currently a shift worker. I am currently on AR and not looking to pay gems to change, but will be looking forward to Alliances. I am currently rank 5200 in WvW, but playing less and waiting for alliances to start and playing other parts of the game more. I won't always be able to use discord. Sometimes I am playing in the background whilst I do stuff with my wife/family. But I'll try to use it when I can. I like to play alot of sPvP and PvE. But I haven't managed to break into Raids at present. I started raids when they first came out and did some of the early bosses (VG, Gorsevaal), but it just seemed overly stressful at the time and I didn't bother playing them anymore and lost touch with how the mechanics worked. Anyways, send me an invite or contact me if you think I'm a fit.

LFG tool sucks and auto matching would be awesome. Don't think Anet can afford to improve their game that much though.

Don't hate the player/s, hate the game. I have been saying since release that they need fluctuating map queues to reduce map caps when the population was lower. It may or may not be the best solution, but it would help alot and it is a solution. As an OCX player I don't like playing on the side that has overwhelmingly larger numbers. So I have become accustomed to solo roaming and being as effective and efficient as I can at that. But it has always made OCX a more valuable timezone than other timezones to have coverage.

I currently have two guild options: 1. My personal guild, which consists of only me. 2. A 500 player PvE guild that I never see people playing WvW in. I originally picked my personal guild to represent. I can't un-represent. I have to represent one of these two guilds. Will my personal guild and/or PvE guild get matched "equally" against a 500 player WvW guild? Or is participation taken into account?

1. Why would you keep something that has become obsolete for you? Because I don't know what to do with them, hence why I am here asking. 2. Did you keep exotics when you have been full ascended? I asked around as to what the best option is to do with full exotics and then went with that advice. Like what I am doing here. 3. Do you get any use out of it? I was using ascended on alts, but the legendary rework made that negligible. 4. Or is this just some weird flex? No, I genuinely don't know what to do with them and it was a big time investment so I want to make sure I don't do the wrong thing and regret it.

I'm basically at a point where I have full legendary (Armor, weapons, all trinkets) and finishing off the bits I need to be there. But I have a bank with many ascended trinkets, armor and weapons that I am not sure what to do with them. Should I be buying up ascended salvage kits and salvaging them all? Or does it depend? I can't seem to find a lot of information / guides on whether or what I should be salvaging or not?

If you are a hardcore MMO player that spends tens of thousands of hours in game, those extra magic find, gold drop, experience and karma increases really add up. It's alot to do with "adding value to your account". But it's all a matter of perspective. No perspective is wrong. Just playing the game and having fun is completely fine. Others like to set goals and objectives for themselves. Some just like the benefits those achievements provide.

Paying my respect F.Why would you open so many bags without noticing on the tooltip it says "affected by magic find". So much luck wasted. Haha yeah, I did notice it but I was more interested in a baseline. Maybe next time I'll max out all magic find boosts. For science! I'll farm essence of luck for a year and see how we go next year :)

I just opened up 27090 Lucky Red bags It was awesome getting rid of all those essences of luck. The hoarding finally paid off. Check out the video for full stats and price estimates. It's 3 minutes. But just skip to the end if you want a everything that was dropped and the price estimate per bag. I wanted a video of the entire opening session to provide evidence that I had actually opened them and not just fudge the figures or whatever. I plan on doing more like this in the future. Peace.

Playing the entire story line will greatly increase the value and productivity of your account. There are a substantial amount of achievements involved and these get you increased rewards from everything else in the game (Karma, xp, magic find etc).

Are you intending on playing the game long term? If so, I recommend investing your gold. Perhaps place buy orders on T6 materials and use them to craft legendary weapons, which you can sell for a profit. Then use that to build and invest more. Many "achievements" do just come down to wealth acquisition. But there is an aspect of make your wealth work for you in this game. So it's better as a beginner to invest early. But remember that bonuses (gold drops, karma, experience et al) come as you go through achievement milestones so don't go overboard.
