  1. I did part of a heart in EOD, and then came back on another day and the heart had reset. Is this intended?
  2. Are you using your dodges and blocks? This game is much much more about dodging blocking and evading then simply taking the hits. Time was the best tank was on a light armor class because it had so many evades and blocks and was also able to give a team every boon.
  3. My Legendary Raid armor that I got with my Raid team without paying for anything. I had great times with my team working on getting better and getting past the bosses. I also immediately changed the skins so no one knows that it is raid armor.
  4. remote charge does basically no damage to structures.
  5. I understand why they do not want to count dying, since they want to prevent exchanging kills, but that makes other issues.
  6. Just a quick thing, but one of the issues I have had when outnumbered is finding things to do on a map to get participation rewards. All to often I will find myself in decay because I get killed before I can take a camp or kill a player or open a wall. Walking dolyaks does not really do anything for this and often the camps when not on your home map are watched by people looking for easy kill in off hours. I think if you are outnumbered maybe decrease the decay somehow?
  7. It just feels like more effort than what it’s really worth. What dodge jump? The only dodge jump required in TM is W2Z3 near the very end right before the bridge leading to the mini boss. Instead of climbing the mountain and getting across that way if you start at the base and dodge jump across skipping the logs as tekkit shows you can make it to the cave with the bears. You don't actually need to dodge jump though you can just use the logs to get across. All I am saying is that if you want to do it on normal or trib there is no need to climb the mountain at all. As to effort, most of the zones are not actually that much harder than doing it on normal.
  8. So far I think all of these but possibly world 2 zone 2 can be done in trib (I have managed all but that one). For world 2 zone 1 you do not actually have to climb the mountain. Tekkit shows you having to use a dodge jump, but you don't need to, you can just use the logs to jump across to the right location. and then climb the inside of the mountain like you normally do. If you clear the path of bears first then die and respawn right before the ooze area it is really easy.
  9. Add that the laser show itself is a difficulty. It is physically painful for me to play the second part of the CM fight.
  10. Just so you know even tanking in this game is different. In PvE for most content you don't really need a tank since either you are killing solo and need some sustain yourself, or it is a massive group fight, in which case tanking is kinda unimportant. The only content that really needs a tank are raids (10 man content). Raids have a mix of agro methods. For some raids the person with the highest toughness becomes the tank no matter what, so so long as your abilities and traits do not increase your toughness mid battle you can do practically anything and not have to worry about the tank changing. In other raids that tank essentially pick something up and so long as they are alive, they will remain the tank throughout the encounter. Another mechanic is for the agro to focus on the furthest player, this is all about positioning and so once again what moves you use (besides movement moves) does nothing to affect the agro. Since agro does not need to really be managed tanks instead focus on positioning the boss as well as forcing the boss to face certain directions since fights tend to be somewhat mobile. For a long time the best tank was actually a light armor mesmer because it could evade most attacks while also supplying a ton of buffs. Now there tend to be a greater mix of professions that tank.
  11. Not sure if related but I all of a sudden have massive ping issues that I have never had before.
  12. Hmm, the group I knew did half and half, where you paid half up front and half at the end.
  13. I am talking about south meta, not north, and they did not auto loot. The chests usually come with things like bones or claws or the like, and those did not show up in my inventory and there was no chest on the map at all, nor did the icon appear.
  14. I am not talking about the 10 minute chests, I am talking about the chests you get after you capture a "camp"
  15. I am not getting chests upon capturing the various areas in drizzlewood south
  16. If you want to reward commanders beyond what they already get you can always mail them. I lead meta events because it means the even gets done.
  17. like i said before, with easy mode there's going to be an influx of players who will play it casually, drowning out the noise of anyone who wants to play optimally in easy mode. EDIT: removed a comment that, upon reflection, didn't really fit reality. When I raided consistantly I liked fast raids because it meant my group had done something right. We had had better timing for mechanics, or someone had higher dps, or we kept up the boons better. Something had succeeded so we should figure out what and try to do that again next time.
  18. How about a speed level like the old sonic games?
  19. there is another sink if you do the weapons collection, since shards can be turned into eitrite
  20. The current strike mission is a rather easy one to beat, though I had a bit of an issue with the do not get hit one due to some invisible AOE attack. The CC the bar achieve was very easy though. Last week the boneskinner also had an easy achieve of lighting the torches. That one could be done solo since he would attack the lights even if you did not attack him. All you needed is some sustain. Boneskinner did not need to be killed at ll for that achieve.
  21. Another lesser issue, a soulbeast is demerged from pet at phase
  22. To me the fight is too repetitive, and that is in part due to how much hp this boss has. The other part i that the mechanics don't change. There is a lot of potential with this boss, especially since he is basically the "norn" version of mordremoth. In the story we heard about the kodan losing people to hi voice, make use of that, have the turned kodan attack us. The story make a big deal out of the spirits, make more use of them by tying mechanics to their individual spirit. So for instance we have a spirit that deals with courage, o use a fear mechanic, hell you could use the stuff from the shrines around the map. As each corrupted creature is dealt with, you turn that against drakkar, and drakkar becomes more desperate, and his attacks become more powerful, even as the variety decreases since he can no longer access the spirit. Make use of the min control ability to make it so that during certain phases for a short time some players are stunned and lead away from the fight to do something else.
  23. No, I think you're absolutely saying "this should not be monetized" and then when the next thing comes along, you'll say the same thing. And the next. And the next. You want unlimited amounts of content, but don't want to pay for it. You bought the base game and expansions... that base game and expansion content is all you're entitled to play. If you want more, there are trades to be made: a bit of money for some convenience, or a skin, or something. The world doesn't work that way, getting everything for free and then complaining about it when you don't get everything you want. Life is unfair. You want more build template slots? Buy them. Or don't. Own your choice, but for pete's sake, stop trying to make this look like you're fighting in the Crusades or World War II. And bloody well stop saying this isn't trivial - it's a video game, it is ABSOLUTELY TRIVIAL. Oh so you also seem to have a mind reading device you need to return ince it utterly fails. You know what i have bought, I have bought and supported getting the story instances that I missed due to not being in game for a while. I supported the Account inventory slots and also bought them. I was OK with the game going free to play (sorta) after having to buy it to play. I am fine with the number and amount of gem store skins and have bought them, I am fine with the garden plots and have bought them. I am fine with the mount skins and bought 1. So no you are wrong about me in every way. Stop assuming what I want and what I am like, when you re so wrong it is not even funny. Actually the world does work the way where people complain about losing a service they got for free and being forced to use a worse service. You are objectively wrong there. As to it being trivial since it is a video game, then I assume you are ok with actual pay to win mechanics, since you know it i just a video game. I am sure you are OK with having to pay for each tiny thing (waypoints, just buy it using gems, dungeons, oh too bad you have to buy using gems to enter now, switching maps, oh look at that you have to buy that too). Don't worry these are all trivial, after all it is a video game. This is not fighting the crusades, it is complaining about a something that is insufficient to meet my needs, a thing that should have been in base game and should not be bought at all. How about you get over your faux outrage that other people are annoyed, get off your high horse.
