Same here - I rescue Faren, talk to Rox, and begin the chase but the playable area doesn't expand. The beginning dialogue repeats (Scarlet's part is missing or she's too far away to be heard). Sometimes two mobs spawn near the cauldron, but nothing else happens. This has happened 3 times in a row. edit: I have yet to get past this point.
