  1. I play firebrand in every aspect of the game, PvE, WvW and PvP. I’ve been playing firebrand nearly every day since 2016, but the new patch has made that difficult. As someone with poor eye sight, the mantra visual changes greatly impacted my ability to determine how many mantras uses I have left. This is an accessibility problem I’ve found has impacted a good portion of the community I play with and something I hope can be changed soon. My hope is that the firebrand mantras can go back to having their own art for each use. I understand that while the white number indicators seem large enough when looking, in the heat of combat it’s very hard to see past cooldown timers whilst also doing mechanics. Thank you.
  2. At this point, it's every fight. At the beginning of every fight, our entire zerg rubberbands, no matter who we're facing or how many servers are present. Three-way fights are unplayable to the point where skill lag will cause skills to not be able to be used for upwards of 10seconds. It's sad, and it's something the community wants more than new expansions, more than WvW events, and due to it's severity, we'd take fixing the skill lag over a role out of alliances. Today I was doing a heropoint train in the Crystal Oasis with 7 people and all of our pings spiked to 2.5k. We were a make-up of Americans, Central Europeans, and Brits. We all had 2.5k+ ping. It's not just WvW having server issues, it's the entire game. The servers at this point will not be able to handle a new expansion, and I'm fearful of what will happen to WvW as we get closer to launch. With every update, the lag become worse, and more players leave the game frustrated.
  3. I've been playing WvW tonight and thought I would keep some times of when we are crashing. I ran with [DED] tonight, on Borlis Pass. All times in CST. 9:37pm; nearly entire squad crashed (40ish ppl), at durios.9:53pm; 5 ppl crashed, at durios9:54pm; many people crashed, all over map and across servers10:07pm; at duri, about to bomb [GAL]10:12pm, 20ppl crashed, was around durios10:28pm, 2/3rds of JQ's squad crashed, [KnT]'s driver crashed. All of us were fine.10:41pm, half crashed. THEN I crashed after (at QL).10:48pm, KnT commander crashed (at QL)10:50pm, everyone in squad crashed (SMC lords) Before I started writing things down, [KnT] crashed both in SMC lords and in SWT redbl. Friends on Mag crashing as well. I noticed a lot of times we crashed was right before we bombed the other group, or right after a fight ended. Hope this helps.

While I know in the past the devs have wanted to stay away from making skills unique per gamemode, I do believe that having 10-man skills is not a good idea in WvW, especially when it is only some skills that work this way. While I understand the need for 10 man skills in PvE, 10 man skills in WvW create a lot of unneeded boons/damage/healing when most groups run in parties of five. (Also creating issues between party and squad composition such as 10 man stab but only 5 man cleanses) Part of the reason many WvWers love the gamemode so much is the synergy needed between classes to get things right when zerging. Many of us miss blasting fire and water fields, believe it or not! I believe removing 10 man skills will help bring back the synergy between classes that many of us miss so deeply! Thanks!
  5. As a player who mostly WvWs, I cannot speak to the PvE events but I can speak about the WvW events. I have GREATLY enjoyed the WvW events so far and am very happy about time and love being put in to WvW again. Criticism over the current WvW events: As we all know, WvW comes with a large amount of skill lag (especially during three way fights) however during WvW events the overall lag has gotten worse. It was like this during the bloodlust weekend and it has worsened again during the no downstate week. This is not an isolated issue. It is happening across servers, across continents and across ISPs. It is not a player issue, as it spikes during events and only during these events.Suggestions for Future WvW Events: I would love if more attention would be paid to the kills section of WvW, so here are my suggestions. A temporary UD week, where you get a title or reward if you get enough kills that week. A reward to the guilds with the top 10 amount of kills. (As of late a community member has created a website that tracks kills per guild and per person in WvW. It has become competitive and we love it.) Base spec only week. We’ve begged for this for years, and we still beg. No siege week. I like the change to gates and walls being normalized, it has improved the game mode greatly. While I know siege is an integral part of WvW, I think it would be a fun event. A mountless week. It would be a week roamers would be grateful for. I hope these are helpful, and I hope the lag issues (as well as skill lag for 3 way fights) are fixed soon. Many guild raids have had to call it early this week because of the lag. Thank you for taking feedback and being more transparent. It is greatly appreciated within the community.
