Inside the first instance of the new living story episode it says we need to meet Kas and Jory at the wharf. We get there and talk to them but nothing happens. We also walk around and they follow us but yet again nothing happens.

Wish support had a phone number and not just a ticket system. My uncle sent a couple tickets about changing his email and the last was about 6 months ago. He's heard nothing about it.

It almost sounds like it was sent from the GW2 team which makes no sense. That part is what worries me.

So i logged in today only to discover that there are 3 mails that each contain a gem store item. I know I didn't buy them because my history doesn't show these items but also asking around and nobody sent me them. Kind of not sure if i should take them out and use them because I don't want my account to get banned if they aren't meant for me. The items are 5 Black lion keys, Silver Fed Salvage-O-Matic and a world boss portal device. It does say something about a gift from and has a lion head. When I mouse over it it says its an official message from the Guild Wars 2 team. my problem is why would they send me these things? If anyone has any suggestions on what this is about please let me know.

I'm playing with my Uncle and hes having problems with PoF. At the start it says he needs to read some mail from Kiel but he didn't receive the mail. He submitted a ticket a few days ago and its still bugged. Another problem is he lost access to his email and has sent a ticket to get his username transferred over to his new email and sent a ticket for that a couple weeks ago. So if support needs more info they cant reach him through the email his game is tied to. Does anyone know a way to fix this PoF kiel mail issue? So far we tried starting another story and coming back to it and nothing. also tried every variation of restarting the game and stopping the storyline and restarting it.

He knows about the wiki and how to access it.

Believe it or not he has gotten a hell of a lot better. no more asking about every single item in his inventory or griping about camera angles. He is starting to play like a veteran. Now if only i can get him to learn to do P2T. Since hes partially blind hes having a hard time reading the chat.

That was the first thing i told him when i was trying to teach him to turn with his camera.

He used to play games like the first Zelda and Doom so he isn't new to gaming. I did once have him try 1st person since he used to play Doom.

I have a bit of a problem. I've got my uncle playing and I could use some tips to help him before I go crazy. Let me start by saying it's his first MMO and he is getting pretty good at fighting with his character. Some of the things he does is whenever he opens his bank or inventory he asks about every single item multiple times. He does know about wiki and has used it. He constantly complains about his camera angles even though he's streamed and I've given him tips. He takes my advice for 2 minutes then goes back to what he does and complains. He also doesn't use the mini map and to get him to follow I have to put my character in front of him so he can see it. I do want to get him involved in guilds so he can meet others but I'm a bit worried about how he would be treated doing these things and quitting. I do have to admit there is a part of me that wants to drop him in one and learn the hard way as I did. Any tips on how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently running my uncle through the story and I'm waiting until he gets there to do EOD. The upside to that is most or all the major bugs will be gone before we get there.

Not sure if things have changed but if they haven't you will need help. Just ask around and invite people to the guild long enough to clear out the guild hall.

Any idea how we can show proof? His email was deactiviated so he cant get into it to see any account keys.

Here's the story. My uncle's email got shut down because of some idiot hacked it. Is there a way for him to change the email he uses for a login? I'm just worried that if something happens to his account he wont be able to log in.

That actually isn't a bad idea

An option for single players with the mount would be a single player mode and a multiplayer mode. The single player mode can do whatever the multiplayer mode can do but 1/2 or 1/4 the damage and once in single player mode it cant be put in multiplayer mode without summoning it again. Also not having skill 1 make it return is a bad idea as there are already problems with people on mounts killing groups of monsters that are needed for heart quests.

I just hope they remember the part about Cantha with the Movement of the World. If we get there and its like how it was during GW1 then it will be extremely disappointing. Those Canthans who did not agree with the emperor's dictates were given no choice but to leave their homeland, seeking refuge and sanctuary in Elona and Tyria. As a result, Cantha became extremely isolationist. Once Orr rose from the ocean, those tendencies were reinforced by an inability to safely sail the western seas. Any ships venturing near the Strait of Malchor are sunk by the black ships, then dredged from the ocean floor by the Orrian dragon and commandeered into service. Thus, completely cut off from Kryta, Cantha vanished entirely. Travelers, refugees, and even Xunlai agents residing within Tyrian heard nothing more from Cantha. Sporadic sailors have washed ashore on the southern coast of the Maguuma jungles, but that is the only evidence that Cantha even exists past the cataclysmic event that cut it off from Tyria. It can only be assumed that Usoku's successors continued his dictatorial, isolationist rule, and that Cantha continues beneath the iron fist of the emperor, as ever.

What we've seen of the world is only a fraction of what is there even after Cantha. I'm sure there are more dangerous things out there.

This will be interesting. Humans able to go around but the other races are going to have Canthans trying to kill them since they were forced out.

This will be a good xpac indeed. All human characters can play but the rest need to sit it out since all races but humans got booted out.

Did someone kill Primordus and not put it in the story? if not then it can't be the end of dragons.
