Shield skill 4: Envoy of Exuberance Leap to an area with the wings of Glint; granting Protection and Healing to yourself and allies. Activation time: 1/2 second Energy cost: 8 Cooldown: 15 seconds Healing: 1,620 (0.5) Protection: 3 seconds Number of targets: 5 Radius: 240 Range: 800 Details: The skill will be inspired of Dragonhunter's Wings of Resolves. The wings would look dragon-like to reflect Glint. Reason: Shield lacks mobility and all of Revenant's off-hand weapon gives mobility. This will be more effective as well in my opinion to support your allies or reposition yourself. Still get a good synergy with the trait Hardening Persistence. Shield skill 5: Crystal Hibernation Protect yourself with a shield from the Mists, blocking attacks while regenerating health. Nearby allies gain a portion of the healing and you move at a reduced speed. Activation time: 3 seconds Energy cost: 20 Cooldown: 25 seconds Healing: 620 (0.5) Ally healing: 50% Base movement speed: -75% Maximum movement speed: -75% Pulses: 4 Duration: 3 seconds Reason: Shield skill 5 put the user immobilized which is incredibly dangerous in all situation, pvp/wvw/pve. Taking inspiration on the Deadeye Kneel movement speed here so it will stay relatively balanced. Overall: Values are mostly still the same as the original ones.

Elevated Compassion reworked to make Facet of Nature pulse Quickness when it is active. (could be the 1.5 secs suggested from the devs/ per 1 sec) This would fit with Renegade's way to give Alacrity and would not force us to use skills in a unnecessary way; like, I don't always need to have Ventari bubble on and I would love to have energy to cast Rite of the Great Dwarf or use weapon skills ;_; This is just my suggestion :v

Allies pulse healing coefficient is lower than intended, from the February 25 2020 patch notes (which is the most recent pulse heal coefficient change). The pulse heal should be 0.2 based on these patch notes. It is currently 0.04. Note that this was tested in PvE. I just ask, maybe it is an undocumented intented change. Recent obversation: Lesser Well of Blood from the trait Ritual of Life have a higher healing value then Well of Blood. Lesser well of blood pulse heal: 152 (0.4) Well of blood pulse heal: 280 (0.04)

Why adding shield weapon to the game, if later they don't want people to use one? I don't understand.. As someone that always mixed both active and passive defense and sorry but blocking is active defense? Anyways.. I am a bit puzzled as to how I am supposed to play the game sometimes.. if it's just stack, spam boons and follow a rotation and win the dps race.... might not be the game for me. /shrug Also yes I always prefered to play x/shield in any game that allows it but the community always was angry at me for doing so (despise NOT being a tank, I just love my block/parry/cc and well, shield in off hand look better than another weapon in my opinion) But oh well....

Oh.. and making more and more traits that do 2 very different stuff in different game mode is... not good.. like FB healing mantra skill and Herald Draconic Echo. I dunno. I guess I am the only one not eager for balance patches as time goes on.

hey... why are they progressively getting rid of the traits that reduces cooldown? Also most of the new Defense trait line for warrior feels a bit weak.. not really worse than what we have but it does not look better (except maybe adrenal health and cleansing ire) but everything else feels... weak... Thick skin is nerfed imo.. protection is nice but it's redundant.. 5% additional damage reduction is better imo, because it can be stacked with protection.. Also the new Shield Master trait, I like the idea of filling the adrenaline, but it feels like a downgrade.. Also, no more cooldown reduction? Why taking a shield now then? The current cooldowns are kinda long.... I don't see a reason to use Shield Master now anymore.. it was already kinda weak tbh... Armored Attack is going away, another one of "Get x stat based on x stat" getting removed... and getting resistance after a dodge is.. redundant.. Not too great of changes imo.. and if they are getting rid of all the traits that reduces cooldown and barely enhances a certain weapon, specializing in a weapon kinda feels pointless now. I guess I am just glad they got rid of the 300 seconds cooldown traits for pvp but that's really it... I dunno.. the game seems to be going in a redundant direction.. everyone has all the boons, traits are less and less special, cooldowns are long and it feels more like a rotation-based game instead of reaction-based combat game, which is kinda what they seem to advertise. I dunno..

I don't see the point to reply anymore. Everyone loves the spam feist and they assume weird things of me. Yeah yeah, too much space, the forum acted weird, I didn't meant to do that much space and I tried edit as best I can. I am not sure how people enjoy the current state of fighting in pvp. Everyone just blinks everywhere, perma cc everyone and there's too much of everything again, too much condition application, too much condition removal, too much multi-hit stuff. But hey, if the devs and all the community loves that, my apologies for posting it and for ever daring to think people would have prefered a more skill demanding playstyle to be decent and working in the game. Meta should be better, not the only way to play.

I don't understand people assuming that -I am noob -I am old -I want a bunker meta People are always on one extreme or the other, "Oh no, bunker meta demand, wtf..." I am also confused with the community immediately calling people that struggle to enjoy an assassin blinking, perma cc and condi meta "low skill". Fast=skill? Okay... Also here is something for people that thinks I want a "bunker meta" I hate immortal walls playstyle. Both playing one and fighting one. Also There is indeed too many condition removals, condition application, Too many blinks, evades, block. There is too many of everything. I also came in the game back then because it was indeed fast paced, it's too fast now. But it's not just that, If I don't play the same playstyle as everyone, I do not have any chance to succeed at all. Player skill do not matter anymore. I used to be platinum 2 around 4 years ago but I guess I am an old decrepit noob based on the community. I guess I am part of a minority here. I do not want assassin meta I do not want condi meta I do not want tank meta Or meta at all. You should be able to have varying degree of success depending on your knowledge of the class and every skill and traits should actually make you hesitate to chose, competes between each other. Middle ground for kitten's sake. But I guess the community loves the current state of pvp. I still said what I had to say and I am mostly disapointed that I cannot play the mode anymore with my playstyle. Which is not a kitten tank.

Now, first and foremost, I am well aware I will attract a ton of negative attention and I will be called x and x thing but I took the risk and will post it anyways. First, I am not old, disabled, etc, (25 years old, super basic and even kinda "normal" in some ways) I am also not a nostalgia hungry type of person. But I used to be a part-time pvper, and even some days I was doing just that and nothing else. It was back a bit after HoT released, (Sigil of Force was there and things like Soldier Amulet too, can you believe it?) Now my point; The game's combat is way too fast. Balance is always bipolar. Either it's too busted and spammy, or we are locked to only use auto attacks. Time to kill is way too short. There are way too many abilities (even some on low cooldowns, either active or passive abilities) that grants, Teleports, Superfast dashes, Evade frames, Block frames, And now, the next main thing, There is the presence of skills and traits that are entirely useless and unviable. Why does it exist? I perfectly understand that balance will never be petfect, but a DECENT one that isn't bipolar is DEFINITELY POSSIBLE, I will dare to say, objectively speaking. Now, I will say a few things I particularly enjoyed back then, -You could make almost any build viable to some extend, Now, I know meta builds exists and will always be popular, heck It's inevitable and almost needed in a way. BUT It should not be the ONLY way to play. Want a taste? Go into pvp as a core Warrior and use Mace and shield and I don't know, a rifle.. Now, try to win against a Vindicator or a Mechanist. Or even against a Ranger of any variation, or anything really. My point beeing that, and it was not perfect by any mean back then, you could make a build with your favorite playstyle and weapons and have some degree of success (or not, it could happen). -Combat took timing and knowledge (to an extend, cheese always existed). Today I am actually stressed to go to a point to fight someone; I know it's gonna be a spam fiesta with exploding festival lights all around, the whole point covered in red circles and if I dare to engage, I am completely immobilised and cced while having lots of conditions that melts me in seconds (condi clear, break stuns and my low amount of stability included). Oh, I needed to dodge to enter the point and another one to dodge one of their combo, well, stamina management might be an issue but it beeing the main defense of gw2, I feel I should be able to use it more, tough many meta builds that I just don't enjoy has lots of blocks and evades/teleports anyways... And I won't mention mid point fights. Conclusion, I really wish to enjoy pvp but it seems personal player skills is no longer the way to go; -I need to go into a website and use a build there to just have a chance to survive because there are too many skills and traits completely unviable, also weapons. -I need to play every playstyles that I do not enjoy, in other words, play the cheese or don't pvp. I am honestly confused to be honest. I would love to enjoy pvp again, any tips are welcome but it will never fix the main problems of the game. I won't enjoy to always change playstyles to playstyles to find the next cheese to play after the balance patch. -Stats are insignifiant for the most part lately, I could use Avatar Amuley, rune of the monk and transference sigil on a guardian and the healing is only increased by a small bit (included the lack of defensive options to defend against the focusing ennemy team you will have on you.) Make simple playstyles decent again, make timing matters more. Not spam all the time in a build, and be locked to only auto in the other. I don't understand the bias of promoting assassin-like builds, or aoe chaos mage builds if you see the picture. Sure, Warriors DID had a nice moment at some point but again, bipolarity, either full cheese or full unviable. Why... I am unable to enjoy pvp again. Even the training npcs are a pain to fight with my very high cooldowns and low power from what I used to enjoy. My only saving grace is I enjoy the pve aspect of the game even if I am restricted to play only with friends because pve does suffer from "only meta or unviable" tough to a lesser extend. P.s. Horribly sorry for the huge text, amazing patience and thanks to those who read it. P.p.s. I am fully aware to the vast negative attention I will attract and will react very minimally to replies that are not constructive. Best wishes and peace.

Hi hi I have been wondering, if you use a bonus, let it be from trait or runes, that gives +10% health; Will it be 10% of total health after vitality bonuses (for exemple you use vitality in your build) Or will it be 10% of your profession's default max health?

Asking once again for Break Stun effect on Ventari Stance

Oh! That's honestly a better idea.
