  1. I'd rather see the auto give AoE Barrier, instead of the regen. There's already so much regen spam in WvW from other classes that overriding it via autos seems bad. Maybe not a lot, like 250 base, with a decent coefficient (something like 1.25 * HP) and then staff might be worth using. I'm up for anything though. I just think the whole concept needs to lean more into the support aspect, if that's really what you want to go for. I could see a complete rework with all the skills on staff being blasts and ground targeted skills in order to provide specific boons, barrier, and / or cc.
  2. Nope, it works as OP stated. It's a 5 sec cd per in-combat pulse. You can also stack it via the 1/4 sec icd. Then, when you hit 10 stacks, you get your HULKMODE buff and that lasts for 5 secs, then it starts all over again.
  3. What happens if the counter to boonball is positioning? With Anet nerfing strips across all classes, buffing boon uptime, and upping damage, one could argue that they want everyone to be in the zerg. If you just happen to misstep and get punished for your own bad positioning despite all the boons, that's on you, not your zerg.
  4. This is where they should just outsource the coding and development of WvW to another company. We've seen this whole song and dance for too long to know that Anet really doesn't care about the whole of WvW, except for maybe 3 ish devs. Technically speaking, aren't we still under the beta testing of world linking from the announcement 6 years ago? Yeah.....

  7. After 9 years of playing this game, most of which was in WvW, I've given up on the possibility of Arenanet caring about WvW. This is just another nail in the coffin. AoC and CU cannot come out fast enough 😩
  8. I want to acknowledge this. Unfortunately, I do not forsee Anet changing anything moving forward because everything Grouch said in his post(s) today has been echoed multiple times before by multiple Anet developers and Game Directors before him that this just seems to be the go to response for the studio as a whole. "We hear you and we're sorry. We'll do better next time and moving forward." Same problem happens again..... "Oops, well, sorry. We hear you and we'll do better moving forward." Either break the cycle of abuse or be okay with losing players who will no longer take said abuse.
  9. The most basic, logical thing to do would be to only communicate changes via the forums. Otherwise, why have them? If you'd prefer discord, then only communicate via an official Guild Wars 2 discord. If you'd rather use reddit, then use reddit. Choose one and stick with it. Stop this splitting of information across 3+ different platforms and then have to do damage control / public relations control to appease your customers.
  10. That could be tomorrow, or 100 years from now. At this point, turn off WvW or sell it off to a more competent developer / studio that will actually put in some meaningful time to the mode.
  11. At this point, I think Bugthesda would do a better job balancing this game, and this gamemode, than ArenaNet does. Hell, I'd settle for my.com to unscrew the balancing of this game. And that's saying something.
  12. Make the animation be the player character commit seppuku.....to keep the theme in tact.
