  1. Just adding my 2 copper to this thread. The elite spec is fun to play, this mech can go 1 v 1 a silver colored elite and take out a pack of mobs on its own with no issues . Berserker feels like the superior choice vs conditions. That said in every other type of content it fails . It does not survive meta map events and punishes you with a large cool-down . There is no benefit in champ trains or wvw zerg running. Its Cooldown is just too great and Ai pathing /reaction is just not there. The spec is poor in group content, but very good in solo .

Lack of gear progression is the biggest reasons everything is build based This means players who depends on gear rather than skill to get their daily fix of I stomp you so I am better than you don't play ,let that be pve, pvp or wvw. Infact the reverse happens and hits these players in the gut very badly.
  3. Imo you need to learn to play all specs and core. You can't sit on Berserker and I say ill main it , similar for Spellbreaker. You can default to one that is most comfortable for you all the time but you need to learn to adapt when the situation demands it . Its the same thing with your traits , weapons and utility choices as its the most general advice. You can't sit on a specific weapon .specific build specific ability and say I am done.
  4. Oh oh I got it!!! . We have a rocket launcher, a mortar, a flamethrower , grenades, pistols , rifles and lightsabers Next elite spec , we get a Vulcan minigun with Coated bullet trait back 😁

  6. I quit playing it as a main in path of fire because they changed pistol phantasm or phantasms in general to be temporary . I enjoyed having three gunslingers unload everything, they destroyed my fun 😞

I haven't seem any world pvp yet ,I flagged twice for the pvp quests but my server has 4 territories under Mauruder my faction and one each for the other 2 factions and it seems slower than doing pve ones anyways . The max level pvp content is for 60 . I hope its worth it as everything else feels great.
  8. I appreciate the extra aoe skills that comes with this spec however I cannot forgo the loss of clones to have swords sticking on top of my head. Though I do not main mesmer I do play one for world events and occasional WvW , for me the clones is what separate this class from other ranged classes and makes it very unique not like the copy paste of frost mage from wow. That said the clones are also the integral part of this classes defence making any build viable and fun to play anyone who picks this class. I tried ,its not for me . I am sticking with Mirage.
  9. I like the concept of this spec and am backing it based on that , however I do not see how it is effective in pve let alone pvp. The 5 base skills either are slow, do no damage with 4 th being pointless and 5th being a discount Greatsword charge. The main skill F2 dragon Slash , I can see the potential damage but its execution which includes a charge time and position mattering a lot makes the skill unreliable. There is only one way to play this spec currently that is get max flow F1 F2 and 1 then swap again and repeat , is this worth it ? well I tried killing a veteran Hydra, it did not allow allow me to execute this combo . After several repeated fails I just went double axe (which I was equipping at that time ) and killed it without this nonsense. Which tells me the base class Warrior > Bladesworn That said what does Bladesworn do better other than being flashy with a new weapon type ? Besrerker has good dps, Spell breaker tanky in Berseker gear and excellent Utility. This class spec I am not seeing any functional benefit. I also do not see now this class works in pvp . I am basically telegraphing my action to the opponent "Hey man I have big hit coming your way do not move or evade, for like 10 seconds and let me hit yeah " 🤣 Honestly if you copy paste the Greatsword skills, burst and everything and make an explosive finish to match the aesthetic of this specialization It would be waaay better. than the current. To end this , I total support the first post of this thread no matter what in a group setting we are flag carries. That's about it.

Elitism never caught up on dungeons, they will not catch up in fractalsThere are more laid back groups than themThey will be waiting considerably longer or end up with trolls sabotaging their runs ( its what ppl used to do back in the day, need a vote to kick right?? good luck) Eventually they will regress to their guilds and leave randoms alone
