Actually the map had great replayability but then they stopped the Istan farm so that you can only open a limited amount of chests per day, which in itself cut down on the total amount of ore you are able to farm. With no popular meta drawing people to the map it made trying for the collections pretty awful. Admittedly this also stopped making people richer to get the good things and so here we are today. Damn I miss those Istan farm days. It doesn't even make people rich but it forms communities. People who keep coming back, chat and etc. It's what makes MMORPG so special. Of course they have to destroy every farms out there.

Yeah I kinda hate that crafting is not account bound.

Yes. It's pretty for sure but like I mentioned above, I just came back after 1 year hiatus and before I left I made that unicorn shortbow and now I'm just broke. Lol.

Another thing that I absolutely regret is that I made that stupid unicorn legendary instead of frostfang a year plus ago. Now that I returned I find myself not using it anymore. Boo.

I don't have legendary but I am equipped with full ascended for all light, medium, heavy. Just ranger is just a big regret for me.

+1 - Druid is the 2nd character I sent to the flax farm after the nerf, though it's still useful in raid, but I hardly raid so I will only undust her once in a very long time, but I've enjoyed using druid more than ele in fractal and since she got me so far in the hardcore game mode, she's still in a better possition than the ele I sent to the flax that I no longer use XD Thereofere I've regretted to create that elementalist but not druid. Don't remind me of elementalist. That profession is so hard that it just kills all the fun of the game. I'm not a hardcore gamer, I prefer to just login and enjoy in easy mode, thus I chose ranger but still... Don't know, doesn't seem fun. My condi renegade can kill so much faster without relying on pets. And the animations are prettier. I'm thinking to reroll my support chrono to condi mirage since there's build template now. I can play her in open world!

Exactly how I feel. Thankfully, we still got the DPS -department. Spirits and stance share are mechanics no other class has.Spirits and stance share are just not fun to use. Don't know, the animations or something, there's something that just doesn't gel with it no matter what the numbers say. And just too much work. I guess I'm just kinda regretting and tired of my ranger. :<

Exactly how I feel.

I was intrigued by the easy-going nature of this class. You can literally play through most of the contents solo in the open world with this professions. While the pet thing is fun, I realise that when it comes to farming train, ranger is lacking behind. And because it's one of the activities I spend the most time on, and I find condi renegade performs better in this regard, my ranger is always on the shelf. Also the animations of ranger, regardless of weapons, are just not as fluid. I spent a lot of gold on my ranger, thinking that it would be worth it. To get the leatherwork to 500 and then crafted ascended stuff. Cause I was using magnetite shard for another class. So now I'm just really regretting it .

1) guild vendors offer capes. Second cheapest option is hitting a lucky shot in Black Lion Chests. 2) Chronomancer is still viable as a support for raids, and particularly fractals. 3) Condi revenant has been massively boosted and promoted. Same goes for Ventari. Overall, the class is now more flexible than before. 4) Still Silverwastes, I believe. New world boss Drakkar and good strike rewards from Shiverpeaks Pass + Whisper of Jormag are worthy of note. 2v2's are a thing now in PvP. Seriously? I have been considering to play my mirage for PVE content. I only use support chrono for raids and fractals but don't think I will be playing the raids and fractals for a while. So just wanna have a character to roam around doing some collections and achievements, have been considering gearing up a condi mirage.

I have a soulbeast which I spent tons of gold on and now I'm just regretting it. Have you ever had any characters like that?

The last time I played, the skyscale just launched and I managed to get the mount before I stopped until now. I'm planning to get back to the game, and I have several questions that I need some help with before I get back to the game. I see that there's the new Cape thing, which is very cool. What is the cheapest and best way to get them? I used to play support mesmer (not tank) for raids and low-mid level fractals, is this build still viable? Any changes to revenant? I really like my condi renegade in PVE because of this class has skills that can cover a wide range of area/enemies. Still viable for farming? The other class i like a lot is ranger/soulbeast. I played a condi one too as I prefer condi classes. Is it still Good for farming and general PVE? I also like to be able to travel around and just steam roll everything without much effort, cause I just wanna relax and have fun without much hassle of changing classes/builds and etc. Best place to farm now? What else can I do in the game? What's new? Thank you in advance!
