  1. Yep, my Fur Pouncalot becomes partially upside-down melty-cat on *all* ziplines and when beginning to play an instrument (first song).
  2. I'd love a way to selectively turn on or off the daggers floating above my head. And the glowing stamp on the ground with different parts that light up depending on which skills I've activated. Please! Choosing an elite spec should not be forcing me to play with even more visual pollution and distraction that I cannot dial-down or get away from. There are specs I've tried and have chosen to avoid playing solely because the passive visual effect of the spec becomes aggravating once the novelty of the spec wears off. And since those effects impact my character's appearance, I'm finding that they're a negative in regards to my fashion wars playthrough.
  3. Why would I join spvp for anything? I despise trying to fight other players (who are all going to murder me in about 1/2 a second flat) - this is also why I don't wvw. I'm a node-farmer, I do random events in PvE, occasionally do world bosses if they're a daily or I happen to be in the map when they're spawning. For me, GW2 is a chance to "zen-out" and relax from a stressful day at a job that demands perfection. When I log in, I am not looking for a challenge, per se. Just make PvE legendary armor a lengthy grind with some lore and history thrown in, not requiring a bunch of instanced content nor a group of high-flying people to achieve. I'm just a filthy casual kitten who would like to see my game time be a little more personally rewarding. I don't even sell 99% of the mats I farm, I use them in crafting. Maybe I'm not neurotypical enough and am asking too much.
  4. May we please have our Gliders slipped into our Character gear window somehow? I've got 6 unique "looks" (all different ascended armor / weapon builds) on my main character (Fur Pouncalot) and the glider I have equipped only works with the 1st one- the other 5 are really jarring as their backpacks (usually wings) all get ripped off of them and swapped back to the original (and sadly the only) glider I can have equipped at a time on that character. I find it rather jarring and it breaks immersion.
  5. Perhaps they implemented them this way to act as another gold/time sink? That's the only "reason" I can think of for the jade bot to work this way.
  6. I love some of the ideas here 🙂 Anet, please allow us loners who only rarely join groups have something to work towards armor-wise that doesn't require us to live in WvW (a game-mode that is definitely not for me) nor in raids (which forces us into groups and locks down our playstyle in favor of whatever benefits the group rather than what we enjoy playing). Yes, I'm an introvert who actively avoids being forced into "endgame" group content that forces me off my main character or into a playstyle I do not find enjoyable. I've not even done the DE meta yet as every map instance I've randomly joined into has not had enough dedicated people- and I'm not the type to go hunting them down. I just want stat-swappable armor I can grind away towards as I play and enjoy random open-world PvE content. Give it a cruddy skin with no sparkly bits, I don't care... but having the ability to stat-swap my armor quickly, easily, and for free (once acquired) would be worth a long grind/collection sequence.
  7. I agree, these really feel like they should be account-wide, rather like the legendary armory I suppose. The way the Jade Bots work on my characters just feels frustrating and unnecessarily cumbersome.
  8. Indeed, the icons were similar enough already I'd occasionally still click the wrong one, but having them identical has really screwed me up. Please give them back their unique icons.
  9. 1: I would love to see our Gliders separated out among our Equipment tabs. It's so jarring to be wearing a certain backpiece and have a totally unrelated glider pop out. 2: Restore the original Mystic Salvage Kit icon's appearance or make it visually unique in some other fashion (more than just the border highlight-that's barely noticeable and I've gotta really look to see it). Having it and the research kit share the same icon is very not good, downright bad choice. 3: A "Salvage Stack" option on the Research Kits would save my clicky-finger a lotta clicks and my mouse would thank you. 4: Give the bait-fish and fishing gear a home in our Material Storage or a separate bank-tab "tackle-box". 5: Map-swapping due to population should not cost us all our jade battery charges + offensive & defensive buffs. Losing everything we just spent 20 minutes buffing up makes swapping maps very painful.
