  1. Haven't even tried the Rifle post-beta yet, only tried it during the beta... and back then I thought that our rifle was just weird, cringe and very one dimensional as a support weapon. Bored me to death playing it. And judging by every post Ive read it seems like not much has changed. It's basically useless outside a chrono support build. They didnt even fix Mirages clones to actually target our allies so we can actually heal them with our ambush skill. And they are so funny marketing this weapon as a cool multidimensional portal gun... which it never was to begin with... tired of these lies we mesmers mains need to go through from Anet. Reading that they didnt take any feedback under consideration doesnt suprise me at all... this is CmC's balance team afterall... mesmer will always be neglected as long as anet keeps this team as their balance team. I find it very hillarious though that they've taken in this third guy into the balance team and their balance twitch streams, which both Roy and CmC calls "The Mesmer Guru", as a way to try to show that they do "care" about Mesmer. At first I was like hmm maybe... hopefully... things can get better for us... but man I was wrong... just another dev that doesn't know anything about Mesmer as a class, playing pretend just for marketings sake.
  2. Superspeed needs to come back again in this trait, since 66% speed boost isnt enough for a Mirage to actually bring themselves out of big AoE attacks (esp. in modes like WvW). I think 3 sec of superspeed should go for for both PvE and WvW, while it can be shorter for PvP. I like the "shared superspeed with allies in PvE" part of your idea alot, would def make this trait much more interesting. Id like to add one more bonus in this trait aswell, and that should be a damage boost to all of the Mirage's and it's clones attacks. This bonus activates when dodging and stays for some seconds on the Mirage and it's clones. This should bring us one step closer to having a impactful special dodge again, cuz we're def not there rn with all the nerfs we recieved to our dodge in the past.

Many people are complaining both on the main forums, reddit and now snowcrows aswell. These nerfs really damages the game for us Mirage mainers. This balance team is clearly doing wrong here and Mirage rarely gets any kind of reconsideration when it comes to the nerfs it's about to get. What does it take for Anet to realize that the Mirage class and it's playerbase is getting more or less constantly bullied on from the balance team? They need to put a stop to the constant bias that the balance team forces us players to endure.
  4. So we're going hard on nerfing Mirage once again? Almost like it's a sport for the balance team to keep pissing off their very small Mirage playerbase in every single way possible. EoD isnt the newest expansion anymore, so you dont need to keep nerfing Mirage for the benefit of Virtuoso all the time. Maybe consider to let chrono be the support spec, Mirage the condi spec and Virt the pure power spec, as it was intended to begin with? Its outrageous that Mirage that's considered to be a condi spec is in a much worse state than cVirt... seriously... mind numbing... Id ask you guys to reconsider this, but I know that you wont... this balance preview threads you create is mostly for show and nothing else... not a great way to treat your playerbase though...
  5. The info we have at this time is that rifle is going to be a support-based weapon for mesmers 🙂 It will be released during 2024, probably in Q1 2024! Im not sure though if you need the expansion to get access to the new weapons? And there will be a beta for everyone to test the new weapons on 28 november iirc, so make sure you login then 🙂
  6. @Cal Cohen.2358 Since you guys rolled out this patch, Mirage has encountered a number of bugs that needs to get fixed: 1. Our Mirage dodge reverts to normal dodge which prevents us from doing ambushes or getting Mirage Cloak on us. In order to fix this bug we need to either switch the Mirage espec to something else and then switch back to Mirage again, or we need to log out and log in again. This works temporarely, til the bug happens again. I hope you guys are prioritizing this since this is game breaking for every Mirage mainer right now. You haven't even aknowledged this bug yet, which is concerning. 2. The Mirage graphic effect on our skill bar isn't there anymore. This is both a cool effect but it gives us feedback (in form of a animation) whenever we get Mirage Cloak on us, which is very useful to many of us. I don't know if you guys only copy pasted a normal dodge on Mirage? Please do things properly before implementing big changes like this patch. Mirage is awfully weak now after this update. You should revert Mirages dodge in PvE since there's no reason at all for us to be this nerfed in PvE. You should consider letting us dodge while we are immob in every mode, since our dodge doesnt move us out of AoEs, like a normal dodge. Plus as many has said before, Mirage doesn't have the ability to just easily cleanse itself like other classes. The confusion changes made things way harsher for us, so there's no justification for you to nerf Staff ambush the way you did! Please revert this. You should buff Mirage up in every aspect that you nerfed it historically before and after 1 dodge happened. There's no justification left to keep the old nerfs, after you nerfed Mirage big time with this patch. Stop with the bias for once and fix what you did wrong, cuz this is destroying many Mirage mainers experience in this game.
  7. To not be able to dodge through immob is just too much, especially since our dodge doesnt move us in any direction at all so we can escape AoEs. And as Veprovina says, our ambushes are in such a poor condition (bc of all the nerfs), so they dont make up for this nerfed dodge either. @Cal Cohen.2358 The only fair way to keep our dodge in this current nerfed state, is to give Mirages the ability to teleport a short distance either backwards, forward or to the sides. Your clones should teleport to random spots next to the real Mirage aswell, when you have IH on. This will help us manage our clones better, which we really need as Mirages. Once teleport is done, ambush happens. No, this wont be too strong and OP, bc both Mirage and it's clones are still too squishy by nature. But the ability to dodge like this gives Mirage some sustain and defence that it badly needs. There's no excuse for not implementing something like this, since thiefs can perma dodge/stealth, and eles are massively OP right now etc. This should've been Mirages special dodge from the beginning, since it fits its identity better. It makes us fast, fluid and deceptive, plus it helps us to actually have a chance to avoid AoEs and not to get overwhelmed too easily. Not so much different from Vindi's dodge, who jumps high up in the air, travels a short distance and makes an attack in the end. Edit: I know that Mirages sword ambush lunges you to your enemy. The ambush can still work like that, but teleport can work defensively at first, to counter your enemies attack. After teleport you lunge at that enemy when the ambush activates.
  8. Exactly this! There's so much double standard going on at the balance team for many years now. So many things are ok for other classes, while for Mesmers its just outrageous and a big NO if they have a buff even remotely close to what others can do. But I actually think it would be fair to have distortion on our phantasms til they become a clone. Plus as @Veprovina.4876 said, give our clones additional 5 sec distortion so we actually can have some use of them, especially for us Mirage players who really need our clones no matter what.
  9. Clones get evade aswell! I use the dodges to give my clones evades when Ive activated a shatter skill, to protect them so they actually shatter at their target. I even think they get 66% movement speed when they get mirage cloak, which makes them run even faster to their target. This fails many times though, especially in wvw because of all the aoes and clones being so squishy in general.

  11. Balance team and its lead needs a complete overhaul, since they are really hurting the game in very bad ways because of their bias and unprofessionalism. BIAS SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED IN ANY FORM OR WAY ANET (ESPECIALLY FROM BALANCE LEAD)! Like how can you not get this yet? Your balance team has already been through one big scandal, how many more scandals do you need before you start making real changes to the team? This patch was not wanted, and many took their time to give you feedback but you guys just didn't care at all (as most of the times). And now you have the audacity to even ask us for more feedback for the beta?! Is this a joke? Get your acts together and be professional for once!
  12. Its good that they finally gave phantasms distortion, but they should really just implement this into phantasms core mechanic instead of tie it to a trait! That way they can come up with something more interesting for the Escape Artist trait. Im wondering if 5 sec of distortion is even enough in some cases, since some phantasms are slower in performing their attack. They need a longer duration of distortion atleast. If you ask me, phantasms should have distortion on themselves til they become a clone, since they are supposed to be mesmers skills that makes big impact in fights. We want our phantasms to actually deliver their attack so we dont waste our spell for nothing (which has been the case for many years now).
  13. @Rubi Bayer.8493 You need to fix everything that's gone so wrong with mirage after this last patch! There's so many bugs which affects skills, graphics, and Mirages dodge in different modes. Plus Mirage is too weak now with even more nerfs that the balance team gave it. Revert our dodge for PvE first of all, and let us dodge when we're immob in competetive modes. Fix these things and we can surely give you guys more feedback for Weaponmaster Training Beta!

Oh my god... everything with this post is just so wrong in every single way... from the whole speech about ocd (I have ocd myself, please stop using it like it's a joke, it's insulting), to you writing a bunch of nonsense about mesmers being OP in this game. Just stop... you're wasting your own time. Gw2 is designed in this way, every class has it's own identity, and the style and colors to their spells is a big part of that identity. It's a way for people to see what they are facing aswell, which is also called UX. It would just confuse the players if everybody could just change the style/color of their spells. If you dont like the style of mesmers spells, play another class... 🤦‍♂️
  15. @apharma.3741 @Veprovina.4876 To fully boycott Mesmer in game is unrealistic unfortunately, even if it does make a statement for sure. First problem is that there's players like myself who only have one mesmer toon and don't enjoy any other classes at all (believe me, I've already tried). That means that I have to boycott the game as a whole, and Im not that black & white, since Gw2 has plenty of great aspects to it aswell, which makes it hard for me personally to just want to quit it. Second, we who are active on the forums are still only a minor % of all who plays the game, how would we get everybody else wanting to boycott their mesmer toons? Third, many mesmer mainers has already left this game a long time ago, which didnt even make Anet sweat a tiny drop of sweat... they just don't care. Stop buying gems is unrealistic aswell, cuz this game is already full of people who buys lots of gems. Some we see write on the forums, many we don't see at all. So it wouldnt make any difference for Anet if some mesmers stops buying gems. You should rather decide for yourself if they are worthy your money or not, which is an important question for your own wallet. Hate to be this cynical, but nothing helps when it comes to mesmers and Anet. This charade will go on as long as balance team doesnt get a big change to it, both in terms of how they work and which people shall be a part/not be a part of the team.
  16. Have you even read the patch notes yourself? Yes they took away the cooldown reductions from the trait, but they never gave Blink any cooldown reduction after doing so, which they have done for other skills that recieved the same treatment to their traits. So the reason why you get thumbs down (confused emojis) is cuz you're basically bs:ing... ugh mind numbing 🤦‍♂️

  18. Umm... I dont know in which parallel universe OP lives in, cuz most of us dont see any buffs at all, especially when it comes to PvP mode for Mirage. I havent PvP:ed that much myself with my Mirage (I mainly WvW and PvE), but even I see that these nerfs in PvP are too much, especially for an eSpec that's already been butchered before. Even the devs themselves said outloud "We know that this nerfs might be too much, we will adjust them as needed with time". Your buff logics doesnt make sense to me 🤷‍♂️
  19. I don't get this at all... that the customers feels the need to feed into Anets bias like this... mind numbing deluxe! It's already bad that we have to put up with a balance team that is so obviously full of bias that they are way past unprofessional at this point. Mirage is the perfect example of Anet's unprofessionalism, and I think they know this themselves, hence why their bias grows even more against Mirage and Mesmer as a whole. They just plainly refuse to give this class the proper attention it needs, and they never have any explanation to why they do so, even if we Mesmer mainers have been asking for this for years now! Dont feed into Anets bully behaviour, work against it and show them actively as a customer that you are against this kind of behaviour! You dont know if your class will be the next one they just start to hate from nowhere, and you're the one who's stuck with never ending nerfs that makes zero sense.
  20. Ok first of all great that we get our 2nd dodge back, because 1 dodge in competetive mode was a very lazy and toxic way for Anet to nerf Mirage to begin with. Even worse when Mirage was left that way for years to come. I can understand the reasoning behind taking away the ability to dodge while you're CC:ed or immob for a healthier game, even though you guys are taking away Mirages core identity by doing so. I think it's ok to do this for WvW and PvP, but why doing this for PvE aswell? We're only facing NPCs anyways so fair play doesn't really apply in PvE. You should let Mirages being able to dodge when they are CC:ed or immob in PvE atleast, since there can be lots of soft and hard CCs in PvE's different modes. Mirage is already very squishy as it is and needs this as its sustain. This heavy nerfing of Mirages ambushes isn't fair at all. You have to remember that Anet already nerfed Mirage alot before we got the final big nerf in form of 1 dodge. Our skills and traits got nerfed big time in competetive modes, together with core Mesmer getting nerfed aswell. Yes we get our 2nd dodge back now, but not being able to dodge while CC:ed or immob leaves us in a even more vulnerable state since our dodge doesnt make our toon roll over and move quickly away from AoEs for example. You rather need to boost Mirages ambushes, skills and traits to actually give Mirage a chance to be viable and effective during gameplay. The changes you're doing now heavily nerfs Mirage in every single way and doesn't really give people incentive to actually want to play Mirage, and it leaves Mirage mainers like myself to just feel neglected yet again. You need to start balancing Mirage more seriously and give it the attention it really needs. Stop being so afraid of balancing this eSpec and try to learn how it works so you can better understand what kind of attention it needs. And listen to the feedback from your Mesmer/Mirage playerbase, there's tons of valuable feedback that you can read through in the Mesmer sub forum. I dont really understand why we need to take a trait just for our phantasms to have distortion on themselves when they are summoned. Just let this be a core mechanic for phantasms and revert Escape Artist to it's original state. And I dont understand why you feel like Mesmer needs even more nerfs to core and Chrono. As I said before you need to sit down and actually learn Mesmer as a whole, for as it is right now I get the impression that you as a balance team dont really know what you want to do with Mesmer besides nerfing it in very unfair ways. Treat all your classes with equal love Anet, that should be the main rule and philosophy for your balance team. UPDATE: Give Mirage back superspeed again when gaining Mirage Cloak (Speed of Sand trait). This will atleast give us a chance to run away from AoEs, since we can't dodge roll away from them like a normal dodge.
  21. The mirror in the pic is nothing new! It looks like that when other mirage players summons mirrors! Its a way for you to see the difference between your own mirrors and others mirrors! But they are hinting to mirage in the pic, so lets see what they'll bring to the table...
