as much as I love GW2 for what it is, we shouldnt have to manaully patch up the game ourselves just to make it run properly Im sorry but as players, we should expect more than just cold shoulders /deafening silence whenever someone brings up the optimization/engine issues.

yeah i agree a lil bit more media exposure wouldnt hurt Unless Anet thinks that most ppl interested about GW2 will stumble accross it either way, through mmorpg sites or word-of-mouth.

Im 25, considered playing this game for some time before but never really got around it any sooner

I kinda always come back to this game even after taking breaks. There just isnt many mmos like this that feels actually enjoyable and which isnt your typical p2w asian mmo clone.

One thing for sure: the very moment they introduce a monthly fee system to play the game is the moment i would stop playing altogether. If the only thing that motivates you ingame are getting cosmetics/play this game as a fashion wars, thats your perogative. That doesnt invalidates Anet selling cosmetics for gems.

graphics are fine, i just wish there was a way to reduce lag some more whenever in crowded zones

yeah but how exactly do you define this? who decides what is acceptable/non acceptable afk-ing is?
