I play GW2 on my Go with a small Bluetooth keyboard and the right controller detached and in mouse FPS mode, this works very well! I just can't get use to playing this game on a controller I need a keyboard!

I’ve been following this thread and there is a major issue with what most are telling the OP, the Op needs to clarify his issue, is the issue actually internet lag or an FPS issue? Many purple seem to confuse the two, while actual internet lag can in some cases effect FPS to a degree FPS can’t effect internet lag! OP please clarify your issue and let’s start this discussion over and help the OP correctly!

I don’t see Anet porting GuildWars2 over Arm aka M1 any time soon if ever, the best you can hope for for M1 games is ported over mobile games for the first couple of years! I don’t think Apple is interested in gaming they are looking to the creator production market more then gaming. If you want to game “Don’t buy an Apple system with an M1 processor stick with Intel or AMD for serious gaming!

There are very good alternative for in game voice chat! Anet doesn’t need to get into voice chat with all the headache it would entail! If you want voice chat get Discord or TeamSpeak our guild uses both we were using TS but several guildies suggested Discord so we are trying it out! While we do have rules for our voice servers but if Anet got involved in this I would think the rules would be way to strict!

It all depends on what you mean by lag, you’re most likely confusing FPS with lag! You could have the best gaming PC on the market and spend $1000s for it but if there are Internet issues all that shiny new hardware will not help you with lag! Lag comes from the internet mostly, and no it’s not because the game is not optimized or it running on the older dx9 graphics, it’s because the internet is not perfect all the time and there are lots of factors that effect internet performance. If you want better graphics and faster FPS yes a new pc built for gaming can help you there.

I have almost the same specs as your system and was told to install the d912pxy and I’m glad I did the performance boost I got was fantastic I can now run the game at max setting and am getting 150+ in most areas and rarely drops below 100 even in LA! Now I do see a few miner graphics anomalies from time to time but nothing that’s game breaking! While no third party app is supported by Anet this one will not get you bannedAnet will not give you any tech support if you’re running this and if you ever need to contact support you will need to uninstall it before you do

It sound like a driver issue like what has been posted, did you install all the latest drivers for your system including the commonly over looked chipset drivers!

Yes there are a few graphics issues with running d912pxy but in most cases these issues out way the performance gain you get!

Any laptop with an i5 quad core processor With at least 8 gig of ram will run the game with onboard graphics at low setting, I do it from time to time on my Acer laptop you just can’t get into large zergs in WVW but casual PvE is fine.

You can contact support and they may role back her account but they will only do it once it’s best to save that role back for something more critical like an account hack or you accidentally sell a legendary to a vender NPC!

Tell all the people staying at home getting on the internet to stop and you all will not get DCed anymore! These issues are out of the hands of Anet because there are just way to many people online these days over taxing the system!

Why do people put so mush into FPS if your getting on average 30 FPS the game is playable I know people that play this game with less and enjoy tho game! Until recently I played on an old I5 system the only got 30 to 60 FPS and I played on this system since the beginning of this game on it and have fun doing so! Did you all know that until at least the last 20 years most all movies and TV shows were filmed at 24FPS and animation was filmed at less and is still filmed this way today but people still watch this stuff and no one complains about it! People play this game on older than dirt system and are having fun. The whole point are you having fun then stop worrying about your FPS and have fun!
