This is a pretty neat idea. I mean, if you're going to devalue your endgame rewards, may as well go all in. To be clear, I genuinely think your idea is a good one. I just think that Anet's is terrible. One thing that is being missed is this. Expect them to sell the Armory slots like shared inventory slots at about 500 gems per slot. Anet doesn't give QOL away anymore

Honestly, not looking forward to the armory because I expect it to be behind a multi-tiered paywall, per character. Similar to templates now. It’s also another system on top of the underlying system and so I expect it to bring about a lot of bugs in implementation. Though I will have to wait to see it’s release before making an actual judgement. That still leaves templates with the other issues that players are currently running into.expect them to sell the armory slots like they do shared inventory slots and I would hazard a bet of 100 gold that they will sell for 500 gems each. lets not forget about this thread. looking for an update possibly time frame or some information about correcting issues

to the point will these be sold like shared inventory slots or is this going to be given to the community ( I shall now hold my breath until I get an answer) and do we have an estimated date or is this kinda something that will get worked on when the opportunity arises.

VERY GOOD CHANGE . I hope we are able to have different skins on the armor for each template it is being used for. I mean Fashion Wars is the true endgame content.

Not only legendary gear, but also ascended gear and every other gear, that is not soul bound and that can be switched between characters. I like the idea, but I don't see how ANet profits?ncsoft west profits by giving something to the community that they would like and increases overall satisfaction in the game. They have lost almost $200 a month income just from me alone. I have no interest in rewarding them when I am not happy. s That should answer your question satisfactory. its been over 6 months can we have some information on where this stands. even if its to tell us it isn't getting any better

only build not gear as well = not useful Anet knows what they did and I am sure its the only thing that could have been done without a complete rework which is what is needed another EPIC fail my feedback is rework the whole darn thing. this is partly why your earnings are down and as a former whale I am not spending a dime of my money

so any further update on other things brought up

Walmart has them but remember if its more profitable for them to sell you gems in game as you only get 1600 for the same amount of money as a gem card so you need to spend more. funny how nothing is sold at 1600 gems but plenty of 2k gem items makes one think that it might be done that way to have people spend more than they need

the revert button is going to be the best they would be able to do with the system they have in place. lets be honest they are not going to rework it from the ground up. That being said I would like some update on the other issues mentioned please. I don't care about the monetisation we all know that is not going to change.

Andrew is the content design lead so templates probably don't fall within his area. I agree that it would be nice to hear something back from Anet, but dropping this on Andrew's shoulders is probably not the right place for it. wasn't dropping it on his shoulders but since he was addressing a lot of other issues it would have been nice.

low quality or no content = low revenue. Frankly after the build template fiasco I vowed not to spend a dime on this game again and I was averaging a couple hundred a month. though the post by Andrew Gray is nice I wonder how much of it was spurred by the low revenue because it seems to be timed to well . easy fix is to get content out. ditch the ice brood fiasco and re evaluate and get a decent expansion out. so I would like an update please as it seems this was not mentioned in the post by Andrew Gray. People have done a lot of work and spent quite a bit of time trying to help and work on improving the interface. please show them some respect for their effort by giving us something. or simply tell us that we are stuck with what we have and we can all go on with out lives

Look the reality of what happened was ANET was shuttered and half of the staff was moved into the NCSOFT west offices and so there is no ANET there is a logo that is it and look at NCSOFT west's track record of killing off city of hero's and wildstar as examples. not only don't hold your breath don't bother with the feedback it won't help anything because people would need to care and listen.

after the money grab with these templates I decided I would never spend another dime on this game and I hvae plenty of disposable income. would open a couple hundred chests a month.... cheaper than a casino. but no more from my pocket
