So around 10:40 am est, I logged on to play a game of ranked to get rid of decay and play the 11:00 AT afterwards. About 2-3 mins into the match, I start lagging hard but it was different than other times. I could see everything in real time, people using skills, moving different directions etc but I could not use any skills but my ping stayed at a steady 20-40ish. I dc'd a couple of times, restarted the client, restarted my pc, did a bunch of command prompt stuff, the lag stayed the same. Vaanss invited me to play the at, and I thought that the lag might go away after the match. After the match, I tested to see if my connection was screwed up, but no, it seemed like only the client had connection issues because my other devices on the same connection worked fine and speedtest showed my connection was good. When I loaded into the lobby, I kept getting 5k ping spikes and I couldn't even accept the party invite. About an hour later the lag has defenitely lessened but I'm still getting 2500 ping spikes. Some help would be appreciated.

Everyone's complaining about playing at's, trust me, it's not that bad. Other than the time issue, it's much easier than you think, trust me. Even sometimes when I'm not playing with the top players there's only been one time I haven't ended up in finals or winning the at. A lot of teams are just people multiclienting anyway, so it's a free win every other at. Lastly, the whole point of making pvp items is to reward you for being good, if you suck, then maybe you shouldn't have those items. That's like a pvper saying "I can't get legendary armor because raids are too hard, ANet please lower the difficulty."

Lmfao posts like this is why devs don't listen to the community. If you're legitimately dying to downstate, then that's a learn to play issue.

Thief changes are pretty bad. Yeah sure the steal change on daredevil is interesting, but they basically deleted d/p daredevil. It seems that they want daredevil to be more of a duelist class, but staff has almost no sustain. Yeah sure there's the valk+ DD rune build, but if you get +1'd by a power chrono, s/d thief, or rev, you're never going to be able to survive that like other 1v1 classes. D/p was already worse than s/d due to the firebrand meta, so I cannot figure out for the life of me why they wanted to remove it.
