  1. I've started to pay attention to this recently and in the time I've looked, I've yet to get a task for killing enemies or doing events in Cantha. Seeing as EoD is about Cantha I'm fairly sure there's a bug there. I've seen the "Kill Vets," "Kill Elite," "Break Defiance Bar," and "Gather X" fairly often. I ´get Canthan enemies and/or events daily often on my main account and that has access to everything.
  2. The Dodge 3/Three Combo. You aways get one of them if you only have EoD.
  3. Then it sounds like the EoD is the one that has the bug.
  4. Nothing is the inconsistency since I always have one or the other on my other combinations. I never said you never get either dodge or combo. I said that they were sometimes absent in that exact combination. My Core account always has one of them and my EoD account also always has one of them.
  5. The operative word is "almost." You always have one of them when you only have the Core game (Thanks Prime) or EoD (Again, thanks Prime), and you also have it when you have SotO (personal experience). That's the important difference. The difference only occurs when you have the HoT and PoF combo and if it was consistent then you should always have one of them regardless of the expansions you have.
  6. I've noticed that with this exact combination of game additions sometimes lacks a task to either dodge three attacks or make three combo attacks. If you have any other combination of additions you have one of these two. Has anyone else noticed this?
  7. I put the smaller luck in shared inventory slots, then just use an Artificer to make it Exotic. You can do the same just by throwing it in the bank since you can craft directly from that. It would be nice if there was a material storage slot for it, and difficult to gather? You get it passively for salvaging blues and greens.
  8. If you have an Artificer you can convert it into Essences of Exotic Luck and then use that for either Gift of Research, or save it up for Lunar New Year and then buy a gorillion small, gift envelopes for them.
  9. Make the Warrior Staff 3, Linebreaker have a flip-over skill so you can detonate it early since you go wildly off-target if the target moves.
  10. Make us able to replay the chapters of our personal story. Make the initial choices we take the canon choice and then afterward we can replay it and take the other choices.
  11. I make Mithril Rings since I have a million gems.
  12. 2. Resembles an idea I've had. When entering stealth the player gets a Grace period. During the period the character is unable to Stealth again or benefit from Teleports (Ei. you Stealth and no more Shortbow 3). Thieves get compensated by having more health and some protection tools to compensate for being vulnerable more often. Revealed is removed from the game as a mechanic as the answer to one OP ability is never to make another ability that nullifies it since that just makes it even more OP unless you have the counter. Guards and Towers in WvW gets their "Reveal" replaced by "Marked" which temporarily goes away when stealthed. Player Skills that give Reveal now give Grace Period instead. You're now also revealed from stealth the moment you use any action save for Dodge and for Moving. 4. No. Thieves already occupy the weird spot in WvW where their Stealth makes them OP for roaming and in Zerg content they just explode due to a combination of low health and only stealth as a defense which still makes you take all the AoE damage while giving little protection. This would just make them explode faster.
  13. My unrealistic dream wants it to be a total revamp of the performance system (the combat system is fine) so that it goes away from this ridiculous max of 25% player power and 75% Boon Power to a max of 75% player power and 25% Boon Power. The current level of top performance without Boons gets a small bump and becomes the benchmark for the 75% player power. As collateral, a lot of content sees a rebalance of how much health the encounter has, and the Jade Protocols get yeeted from the game since they're monumentally bad for game balance.
  14. How about no, no, and no? Just for balance's sake. The way to fix Stability is to make the effect relative rather than absolute and once relative it can be given to more, We already have a way to avoid CC, and its called Dodge.. The various CC abilities just need better telegraphs so people can react to them. Stealth is already OP beyond reason in competitive environments and at the same time utterly useless. Alacrity is WAY to prevalent. The game needs less Alacrity to be closer to balance. The ideal amount would be 0 sources, the same with Quickness sources.
  15. At least the AoE Kryptis attacks are advertised with a field of some king. Also, Ignaxious, you can easily avoid the fire on the glowing spot by walking backward. As long as the rock breaks his LoS to you're safe and can leave the glowing area. The reason Stab has no effect is that Stab is a binary tool and for CC to have any effect it needs to ignore Stab or else stab will ignore it.
  16. Due to the skeleton of the base model, individual bugs. and informed decisions armor models show differently on different models. For example, I would be unable to show that the right medium armor shoulders (the thin ones) clip through the female model's shoulder since that visual bug only exists on Sylvari. I'm unable to use a female Norn to showcase how the lower legs on females are massively broken and to a much lesser degree on Sylvari since the female Norn model has functional lower legs. Etc, etc. Context is important. Does Light armor often have insanely big gaps? They're cloth and similar so, of course, they do. Light armor is mostly only worn for modesty. For cloth to give any real protection, outside of game mechanics, it would have to be loose, oiled, and thick. Water and gasoline are both wet, yet, only one of them can be safely drunk by humans. Context matters, and when you make an argument without context you just look silly.
  17. Full Counter is a situational thing, you need to know that something will happen before it's good. Unless you go by her shouting Full Counter is nearly useless in that encounter, for that reason, I dismissed it in the survivability for that specific encounter.
  18. How can a thought-terminating cliche be a buzzword when I seldom hear people use it and fall for the use of one all the time? Meanwhile, I hear people use "projecting" casually without really understanding what it means. While what you're doing does have a term, it's "imagined hypocrisy" rather than "calling out projection." If you truly believed it was then you would have called me out on it rather than using this snarky attempt at belittling humour. Something can only cast a noticeable shadow if it's noticeable. For you to think the gap was a shadow is an expression that if I had chosen a darker colour on the armor you'd have argued that you see no issue since you want to see no issue. If adding gotget would add serious clipping issues then how do you explain and the heavy armours in the game that The context for those armours is that they served a ceremonial role or in other ways a narrative role. For example, gladiatorial armour was open so that the audience could better see the blood since red against skin is visible. "The standard" combat outfit for those who could afford it was padding, a mail coif, and general mail armour with some plate pieces on top. The full plates that you see all around in museums were mostly of a ceremonial nature and never saw actual battle since they would be really impractical there. There might have been some mounted knights using something that looked like it since a full-plated knight charging at you while mounted is a Code Brown for most people. It looks great in fantasy and in real-life it's rather impractical and while it offers significant protection it also comes with severe downsides. Conscribed troops where given things such as gambesons and other quilt armour, and they still had provisions from pote ting the noggin since the head is the carrier of the most important organ in the body, the brain. Your last paragraph I can only interpret as that you think the gap is noticeable and at the same time "not noticeable"? If so, this is a case of cognitive dissonance where they same thing is effectively something contradictory and mutually exclusive and somehow both true at the same time. You also launch into this long paragraph from what I can only assume is a subconscious desire to avoid elaborating on what your "not exposed skin" actually means as nothing of it is an answer to anything and instead just a justification for you thinking as you did. I already know, and you repeat yourself to explain the same thing to me again. If adding a gorget would create serious clipping issues then how do you explain the Heavy armor in the game that has the simulacrum gorget and have no such issues?
  19. Light armor is supposed to be cloth so that makes a bit more sense.
  20. - Projecting: Use a buzzword without knowing what it means, https://www.britannica.com/science/projection-psychology, you calling what I did a projection is a thought-terminating cliche. - Gamebreakingly: I never used this word, and if I did it would be monumentally stupid as the visual effect has little to no effect on gameplay unless it's a fart cloud like Untamed used to have or the Hell Sister currently have. You've either read this word into my argument yourself, in which case, this is your bias, or you're deliberately lying about what I said to make me look bad, it can only be one of the two. - Small gap: If I took a ruler to it and extrapolated the numbers and ratio the gap is objectively larger than a blade would be. If you see the realistic weapons they would easily get through that gap (minus the hammers and maces). It's only because the game has exaggerated weapon proportions on the showy weapons that moist people like to use that this gap appears small. - Not exposed skin: What is it then? Because "not" and forms of it are words that explain nothing and seem like they do. If I say, "I'm not happy," it can mean that I'm in a lot of different moods except for happy. It's negative communication and if people are fully aware of what they want to communicate they use positive communication where they say what is, instead of, what isn't. It's my character's skin and it's exposed even if you're unwilling to differentiate it. Will you argue that none of her skin is exposed despite it objectively being so? ANet can easily fix this by extending the forget to have the same proportional length on the female version as it has on the male version.
  21. I mentioned the colours, I mentioned the reason I had chosen those specific colours as that the character has incredibly dark skin. You just expressed that you had no respect for anything I wrote as you never read it, just assumed things based on your own opinion.
  22. That's a build with good survivability. The combo effect of Adrenal Health, Hardened Armor, and Stalwart Strength ensures that. The Stab from Stalwart Strength also makes three of her four mechanics utterly trivial, which would explain how you experience that she does nothing to you as it negates the knockback, the knockback effect of the lines, and the Taunt effect, and most likely also the damage from the Eye since those are usually only delivered if the target is affected by the CC. While it does exist it's rare that mob-damage from CC is unlinked to their actual CC.
  23. The visual telegraph for her pull would be a text bubble with, "I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER!" 😛
  24. Yeah I have, and so would you if you look around because if people get caught in the lines they die. The first cast stuns you, unless you can break out you die since the lines will then cast two or three spikes that knock you around, stun you, and deal massive damage with each spike.
  25. No, she's just kittening annoying and I see more people die on Hell Sister than I've ever seen die on Sorrow, it's mostly Zojja there. Just because something works there's no reason that wanting it to work better is bad. I mean, by your reasoning Kanaxai CM was okay at release was okay sometimes and succeeded if you went through hoops. That never consistently failed either, only most of the time, unless of course you with "consistently" means "a figure subjectively to me" since it by the objective definition of "consistent" (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/consistent) was severely inconsistent.
