  1. Never happened to me and I do play MM heavily. You will lose them obviously if you go under water and your underwater skills are not set for same minion summon or change mapss. But they all remain when I use mount, even when using mount engage skill to attack enemies. Which is huge improvement over the Siren's Landing map where getting Ley-Line Scavengers organs killed off all your minions every time.
  2. I really love this idea, thanks Anet. Sorry, did not read through every 450+ replies so this may have been suggested already, but beside having "alliances", can we also have guilds/alliances setting other guilds/alliances as "enemy". So not every fighting guild ends up in single server and has no proper guilds to fight for 2 months.
  3. 1 - Drastically increase ganking by groups of thieves who will pick single enemy, kill instantly and then run away. Meaning even less actual fights. Meaning even less reason for anyone to step out of their blob. Meaning even less reason to anyone use any other build outside of those too broken to be fun fighting against.2 - Unsure if that outnumbered buff is suppose to be for the whole map. The problem with map-wide outnumbered buff is that it has no meaning considering single fight, you can be outnumbered and still gank 10v1 whole day.3 - It is not possible to specificy "outnumbered" buff per each battle, because it is impossible to know which players actually participated in the battle and who were standing close by.4 - Again, the games has no knowledge of event called "single battle". Siege is in the game so smaller servers are able to defend against larger blobs, you want to award only the blobs by taking away points defenders can get by fighting huge enemy zergs using of friendly siege. Result - more blobs.5 - That is easiest to abuse, once your server is in lead, simply stop logging into WvW for the rest of the week and magically you have won the match within 2 hours. If you try for a moment think about smaller servers outside horribly overstacked Tier 1, it is likely one of the servers is always outnumbered in some maps just because they have no players to send into every map whole day. In general, if you are in the server that has more players at any specific time in the matchup, it is not your fault, and you or your server should not be penalised for playing. Any player logging into WvW at any time is blessing and should be able to contribute to the score and their own progression. The huge open field blob vs blob vs blob fights you want to be ONLY thing in WvW does not happen very often. Many players actually like siege wars, they like defending against large enemy blobs and like to upgrade and repair objectives. Just because you do not like something, does not mean it needs to be "fixed".
  4. You are assuming every WvW player can play whole day whenever they want to for several hours. That is extremely rare, many players have actually small time to contribute at very specific times through day. So, if you can not play at exact time required (because it could happen at early morning, or whenever you are working, or sleeping) you are not participating to the match this day. This could happen tomorrow too. And every day, cause it is random. In fact, for the whole week, it is possible you may never actually compete in WvW purely because you are playing at WRONG time.

  7. As said already, having even 1 extra players helps a lot. But this is still fairly easy fight once you understand the mechanics. Basically it goes like this: do not attack it at all, just keep running in circle and dodge all damageonce he throws fireball, get out of AoE circle but return back to pick up the stonekeep running until monster starts the "mouth" attackquickly throw firestone at itif successful, it will be stunned for little time, use all your attacks now, be ready to dodge away once it recoversyou probably have to repeat whole process several times

  9. Worst ones are those where battle starts without interaction just when long dialogues end. Usually you can ALT+TAB off the game during those endless chatters but in these cases you have to be prepared to fight so you can not even do something else. P.S. Just yesterday was doing Confessor's Stronghold with 4th character, and Justiciar Adrienne was bugged again so I was forced to start over entire instance, go through all those dialogues, again, do all those boring fights, again. Guess what? I chose to quit the game instead.
  10. Are you on a guest server or a host server? I am in guest server (FoW) linked to the SfR. This is linked pair that is probably going to win EU Tier 1 this week. You claim there is enough players in the low population servers now (like FoW) to support them alone, yet you provide no facts to back you up. While SfR is marked as full and SfR+FoW has usually queues in every map during weekend daytime and reset evening, other times we still end up being outnumbered. Yesterday primetime we were outnumbered in 2 maps. I am not even talking about nightshift or early mornings, when server is completely empty. Again, this is probably best EU server considering overall coverage during each day of the match. Now you want to break up the link, even when we know FoW itself would not manage to sustain any real population. Plus, you also want to break up all 12 links in EU, each having much less players and/or coverage then SfR+FoW has. And this based on what? You THINK they MIGHT have enough players? No, they don't. Even the linked pairs are unable to get enough people online, how would they perform when everyone gets split up again? And no, I have never transfered. I was in FoW when we were last server in T9. I was there when we managed to reach T8 only to discover whole tier was completely empty and abandoned and you had to search really hard at primetime to find even single enemy in any maps. I do not want that to repeat again. I am not saying our link to SfR is perfect and should stay forever, we were linked to Gandara before and that worked well too, so I am sure we could get another link. It's fine, as long we get someone to fight. Now we are clearly both guessing. You are guessing that huge number of players transfer each week to whatever server is winning currently and has a link that is not full. I am guessing that nobody bothers to transfer because winning a match has no meaning and going to full server just means you sit in queue for longer time. Only Anet knows how many active WvW players each server currently has, used to have and will probably have next week. But they are not telling.
  11. I am in one of the linked server and we still have no population to fight our own. Linking is the only reason people even bother playing, remove it and whole bunch of players will leave.
