Guildwars efficiency is a 3th party tool. Not factual stats for most of the players (who mostly dont use 3th party add ons). Add to that most played time, only says that people who play the most amount of hours mostly main humans. Says nothing about real unique players compared to race. All subjective. Add to that the proposed changes. Your personal wishes/opinion. Nothing else. Please state that in your post instead of presenting it like you present the players as one entity.

I personally only knew her from Eureka many years ago, and more recently the netflix tudum event interviews, but looking at her imdb i see that she has done a lot more since 2012. So probably too busy with other things acting/voiceacting/podcasts and interviewer for netflix. Could she be replaced by another VA? Ofcourse. But it seems that Taimy is the Golden Child of the writers since LS1.

The most logical reason i can come up with is that the Mac platform is only used by a tiny part compared to MS windows on pc/laptop with intel/amd. It is not worth the cost or time. A native client that is. A emulation would always cause many bugs and anomalies and is it worth/viable to support that, not in my opinion.

I did get a weird error when gifting myself a copper o matic to my other account (i had 800 gems on this account). It said something like the items could not be delivered, and no gems would be extracted. But still did. I did receive the copper-o-matic on the other account when i checked,just to be sure. So it did go well afterall in my case. This was a few hours ago.

Now some practical info from someone who has been playing since 2012 (and gw 1 since 2006). People were much more talkative in the premount age, when waypoints where the only fast travel. So this theoretical study is debunked. People just dont talk as much in chat compared to the past. It has been a thing that i noticed especially since 2017 (when mounts were released). Are people more in hypermode by mount use? Absulutely. With only waypoints people would stand still to pause and chat, with all the fast mounts people hop all over the map without stopping, so less talk. Could increased use of voice chat also be a reason? Absolutely. Or have people become less social over the last years, in this age of smartphones and 'social media',in my experience yes, on the street exactly the same. Less real social interaction, more distracted by earlier mentioned. I hope the EOD expansion will bring some chill places in the game to hang out, with minigames like polymok, instead of dynamic events and speed races. That could dehaste the players, and make them more Social again ;)Last, Guildwars 2 is not one in a dozen other mmos, who lean on the old time investment principle, instead of effort gameplay (like singleplayer games). Thats why i love this game, i dont 'Live' in this game, i play a game, and go back to daily life. Comparing apples and oranges in this case does not work.

Hmm dont agree, netflix has changed that. Dutch myself, and Dark (German show) is one of my all time favorite tv shows. Also love certain French, Spanish, Italian and Scandinavian Originals. Guess i am not alone in that, these show are quite popular over here and other n/w european countries. Always Subbed, dubs are terrible ;-) If it was 5 years ago, i would agree. With games i do agree, but that was always dominantly english language since the 80's

When in earlier maps it is also maybe, that there are quite some freetoplay players who try out the game. They can only use the say channel, not the map one And many people are introvert at first hand, scared to ask something. I had the same thing in the past. What i do miss from gw 1 is there where always talkative people in the cities, at certain spots. A fellowship of well known sociable people. Like the xunlay chest location in post ascalon or Lions arch 1.0. Only area where i tend to switch of the map chat is queensdale from time to time. There can be quite annoying conversations at certain times. Best times from my experience are in the weekend.

Will there ever be new current events or is that type of content abandonned? It would be fitting if the still running Joko current events (ls4, pof) would be exchanged with Icebrood Saga events. It gives the (core maps) open world at least a little living world feeling. Or was the name change to sagas also the end of a living world that had a semi return after being first abandoned after ls season 1.

I dont want a remake. I just started playing gw 1 again, next to gw 2. I would be interested in a new game inspired by the first one, but up to date with modern design and 3d action combat/movement, but with build/skill flexibility. It would not be a mmo, but a corpg game (this how gw 1 was called in the beginning, and what it truely is). It could even be a mix of both (openworld and instanced maps), but without the massive element, so no immersion/gamebreaking zergs. This could be accomplished by capping the amount of people, and a return of selectable zones (like gw 1) instead of the megaserver system.Story wise i would rather have a prequel setting, in a pre tech age, so primitive pre tech asuras would be perfect for me :p

No, i dont like gameplay/mechanics without consequenses. (overpowered) I can already see the exploiting Mountusers (especially with the Skyscale). I use and love my mounts btw.

I like Orr for what i know it since gw 1. A grimly area where the dead (or undead/risen) roam. There are already more than enough prospering/living regions. Still hoping for an expansion of the underworld, with openworld maps and instanced group/story content B)

Is it me or is it still going, havent visited LA. But i did play in the shiverpeaks after logging in, with the latest client update, and i still see the message in the top right and got Tot bags. Maybe your lucky and they extended it a week (or a day).

Its quite sad that effieciency farmers (who always take the easy way) dictate what content will be done or not. It used to be done regularly in the earlier days (all 3 bosses). I hope i will walk into a more oldschool group who also plays for fun/challenge when i get to doing the halloween events. I always wonder why those people play at all, only busy with farming loot all the day, whats the fun in that.

LW season 3 will be your greatest friend.
