Funny as it is, Hotjoin back then was indeed more comepetitive than todays Mats, and you did meet a lot of good player those days, easy more skilled than the ppl getting gizmos over the last years (outside of R55), which are often the same who are wintrading their top10+ titles in ranked. Yes and placing the raid tournament was only possible on the one day in the whole month where monthly is happening. If you try to convince me tpot is the slightest hyped for the monthly anymore you waste your time. The only reason he will still stream it, is because he needs content for his living and nothing interesting is happening on monthly day he could stream instead. And as mentioned from others already, the winners are either r55, or a 3 r55 split version carrying 2, who would never get a gizmo otherwise, for a generous free gizmo. Or some other only semi relevant skilled ppl like last mat because r55 did not try as full team and the r55 splits did not try with a serious team comp. No need to call any names of not r55 winners. They are not relevant in any way, shape or form looking from a real competition pov and not from this only relationship based fake competition clownfiesta with braindead noobcarry balance.

Ats/ monthlies are so dead that tpot does not stream ats anymore and monthlies only from semi finals on (Eu, Na is even more dead since even longer). Who wins does not matter the slightest anymore. Sry for bringing the bad news.

Never said its only about numbers of mechanics. And also in terms of numbers there is a critical mass where more will be bad not good. Ofc its also about what kind of mechanics are added. For example it is also important that the mechanics add any complexity, more decision making etc and not just more spam or passive carry for no costs. And i already gave you an example where an elite is easier than core: Virtuoso. On purpose designed to be an easier and less mechanical complex mesmer (easier to play and to play against). You can find other examples on other classes.

Low quality trolling indeed 😆 Ofc depending on build but power mirage and power chrono both have a way higher skill cap than core power mesmer. Only virt is easier to play. Mechanical skill intensity has nothing to do with how weak something is. You can play mesmer with only one traitline and only one main hand weapon and it will be very hard if not impossible to win any fight but it still has near zero skill demand since its lacking any skillful tactical options to outplay opponents.

Nice another pve focused patch that will ruin pvp. Also i like how boonshare will "just happen, no need to worry about it" no brain needed guys. God forbit you need some skill to play this game and time your fury/ might share for specific burst moments xD Anet really wants to turn all player into apes with their no brain needed balance moves... when you think this game can't become easier, Anet will deliver.

I have way less than 30 char slots and my game freezes completely after 1-12 mins of playing. I have to close the game with task manager. I disabled dx11 beta but i am still crashing. Pls help
