I would say yes. As stated above, POF is a huge expansion-not simply mount access. I think for the amount of content you get for a one time purchase, it is definitely worth it. There are plenty of players on the maps. I have never had a problem completing daily quests or any group content on these maps.

I just tried the fight with an alt who hadn't been to Arborstone before and got the reward. I should also mention that I did it 2 times already today on my main without the reward. Just buggy I guess.

This has happened the last 2 days. I have my main parked there and have gotten the reward everyday without leaving the area, except for the last 2 days. One day a few weeks ago I also didn't get it, but I figured that was an isolated event. Maybe I'll try a different character. I haven't done the zones with another yet (too boring), but I can use the portal scroll I guess.

There are many crafted foods that can't be salvaged for research notes; why couldn't they simply make holiday foods unsalvageable for research notes? I'm really sorry I sold all my bank stock of these foods to make room for all the ones I was going to get this year.

So you have to actually have separate pieces in each slot to have them look different? Let me see if I understand: Even if I wanted to use the exact same piece of equipment with the exact same stats, but for different specs (Soulbeast, Druid), I couldn't have them look different without obtaining an actual copy of that piece and then manually put it into the other spec's slot, then change the look. That makes sense. Thanks for your help.

I have 3 separate equipment template tabs and I want each to have their own set of clothing. Sometimes when I change an outfit on 1, the other 2 become that same outfit, overriding the previous clothing choices. The weapons stay the same, just the clothes change. Today when I changed my number 3 spec, the other 2 overwrote. This means I have to redress the first 2 and spend more time and transmission charges. This problem has happened before and doesn't always occur. In fact, I checked several alts who seem unaffected by this-at least today. My question is: Has anyone else noticed this? If so, do you know of an options setting somewhere to stop this from happening? Thanks

This has been happening to me the last week or two as well; one time the password had to be reentered too. I have checked/unchecked the save boxes. In fact, it is happening today too. It doesn't happen every time-just at random log ins. Nothing has changed with my that would cause this.

So there's only one place to find these mobs? And that is a short event that only takes place once in awhile? Why is this a Daily?

I had trouble at first, but after practicing I'm doing pretty well. Part of it I think is "guessing" which way the fish might go: left/right and moving that way before the fish does. Sometimes you guess wrong, but you only need to be right once or twice for this to work. I saw a you tube video which said you can use the A D keys to move the curser. I haven't tried that because I'm doing OK with 2 3, but using A D might help for some people. Before I got used to the mechanic, I was constantly hitting the 4 key by accident and stopping my reel in progress-very frustrating! In my opinion, the fishing mechanic is not designed very well. It would be better to not have to watch the curser all the time; fishing is supposed to be a relaxing activity, and stressing over a fast moving curser is not relaxing.

I have found the Tailor Profession bags (cloth) to be the cheapest to make.

Also, the game automatically adjusts your damage in/out to match the current zone you're playing, so it will be almost like you're the appropriate level for that zone. That way you can play lower zones and not be so over powered you faceroll everything. Of course, you will still have skills you wouldn't have at the lower level, but they will be adjusted lower too.

The thing I hate about GW 2 is that so much content is gated behind the story. I love the game, but I hate that stupid story. I barely (almost) finished it on one character. Listening to those whining cartoon characters drives me crazy. It wouldn't be so bad if it was challenging; but it's so easy it's boring. I just started EOD and it's the same thing. In order to open new areas, you have to sit through that bugged, whiny story! I hate it! Just about ready to quit for awhile again. (And I just started playing again last week) Last year I tried to go back and do the achievements to get the Legendary Trinket (or whatever it is) and I simply couldn't do it. And sometimes, you must do the episode more than once to get each achievement. No way to skip the long drown out cut scenes. It's terrible! I can't do it again, I'll stick with the ascended ones I have now. I would be happy to not do the story at all.

You can also join Guilds that run daily Guild Activities. You get Guild Commendation tokens from these and you can trade them for Ascended stuff. There are other benefits to joining a Guild as well. This is also good way to meet other players and learn the game. Not all Guilds run the dailies or are friendly, but many do/are. You can belong to several at the same time. My advice is to try more than one until you find the best fit for your playstyle. Welcome to GW 2!

I have been able to log in so far once a day. I have tried some of the "fixes" but I don't think they do anything. Now I just try to log in normally and sometimes it works, and sometimes in doesn't. When I do get on, I do all my daily routine on that character without switching in case I'm unable to get back on later. I have spent money on this game-hell, I just pre-ordered EOD and donated to TEL; that's around $100 just in the last few weeks. I would like to be able to log on when I want.

Game was working this evening, but now it freezes my entire PC during the log in sequence. I have to completely log out/in to even use my windows browser.
