Sadly this isnt the case yet, they are not checkboxes, atleast i been lookin everywhere for the outline part and it is not there, i guess they're yet to impliment it, is kinda missguiding when they write '' currently '' and then writes '' these are now sub-options '' Appreciate for sharing the info tho, hopefully they will update it sometime .
  3. as title says, outline on mouseover (green / white) outlines is bound to post processing option, is there no other way to get the outline but play with post processing disabled ? to me personally there is so much glow and what not in the game by default that post processing in my opinion ruins the game and therefor i always play with it disabled, tho i noticed on even low post processing u get the outline on mouseover on targets in which can be very helpful when tracking target with ur mouse / eyes, is there no way to just get the outline without having to play post processing ? i wish these 2 things were seperate options and not bound to post processing.   5. Staff is more of a wvw / pve thing if any, it simply has too slow anims, not enough dodge / evade and not enough burst as such for pve. Staff is what i would use on a power catalyst in wvw because it simply provides huge damage on meteor shower ontop of elite that refresh the cd's aswell as an unblockable utility from cata, makes it easily a top 1 dps as a backline dps in a squad, tho it is a glass cannon / very fragile and easily gets 2-3 shot . for PvP i deff would prefer sword dagger personally but if tempest i would deff play dagger + focus, one of the builds i had most fun on in the past playing ele pvp was FA Tempest, tho it is not the best atm it is still deff viable to play. i would personally say that catalyst is deff the number 1 pick for pvp atm but it can change with time, tempest support is really meta aswell i just personally dont like playing support, SD fire weaver is my favourite of all time, i been playing straight for 3+ years in all content, pvp/wvw/pve.
  6. if pve i prefer power weaver with fire + air, it keeps me at 25-30k dps without too much effort and its very engaging even tho it is quite vulnerable its really fun to play and it feels very rewarding to play it right. i been playing condi bunker weaver for the most part ( wvw + pvp ) sd fire weaver and it is really fun too, sd fire weaver with cele stats ( condi fire based ) is like godmode in pve tho it has more like a 15-25k dps at max it really pays up in exchange of its barrier / sustain .
  7. i 1vX in wvw as a roamer with sd fire weaver celestial and been doing so for 3+ years, its probably dead mostly because its outdated and it requires alot of attention / engagement in exchange of reward compared to lets say a solid power meta build etc.. with that said it aint bad at all if u know what u're doing, there's a reason i still 1vX on it to this day, because it can work depending on how u play it out. i think sword in general needs an update on weaver / mainly focused towards the weaver spec but i also understand that it can be hard to adjust it taken that it can be used / abused on other specs or / and in pve where it is still quite strong. speaking of pvp, i still also play sd fire weaver with sage amu + weaver rune and i still hit solo plat 2-3 on it, tho i must say it can really feel harsh and alot of effort just to properly play it out, but its viable even its not meta nor the best state atm.
  8. rotate properly and focus mainly side noding on a bunker fire weaver, assuming u running weaver rune + sage amu, i am reaching plat 1 / plat 2 every season ranked solo with that, if i can do it, u can do it, i believe in ya.
  9. it is out of its context obviously, this is the forums not a streamer platform, i wouldnt know the specific case, streamer or wheter he actually abused it from that context or not, now by what has been written afterwards from responses like urs it surely makes sense but it is still not something i can prove or not, nor be exact sure of wheter is correct or not taken from the context that was typed, i aint here to research of what he exactly meant by saying autoclicker is against the tos because he wrote it on some streamer's chat, but i still think is important to notice for those who like to use such that it isnt against the tos in certain cases, that was all there was to it. im not here to promote auto clicker nor am i a fan of it or even have a use for it myself, i just think its a minor detail that if inviduals are stating such out of context that its not entirely correct when infact u are allowed in certain cases to use it.
  10. what he wrote is '' why use autoclicker when its against the tos '' which is not true, as you just pointed out it is allowed to use for such as quality of life example opening bags, as i also wrote it depends on how,why & what u are using it for, i aint to say what the streamer did or not and if that is the case i totally agree, but that does not change the fact that if someone writes '' why use autoclicker when its against the tos '' is a little out of context aswell as not entirely correct.
  11. a test is very different from a live client, obviously if people are awarely abusing a bug ingame to gain an advantage in any way or form it is punishable, that to me makes all the sense, is not like they are banning the people that did it purposely to show it off for a fix, without gaining any advantage from it or using it in a enviorement to gain benefits etc.
  12. did u read the ToS, u are allowed to use auto clicker in certain cases so its not really against the ToS, it depends on how,why & what u are using it for. https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013762153-Policy-Macros-and-Macro-Use speaking of macroing i doubt u know exactly what u on about on those terms, gw2 especially in the competetive modes are very in change of a instant which means a macro would rather be a downside than a upside because u never know if u are gettin a opening for a burst or if u need to play defensively / heal / block etc.
  13. as the title says, this bug still has not been adressed nor fixed, ever since warclaw was released (2019) this been a bug, its kinda bothering and odd to see that a bug that was known from the player base and talked about since 2019 isnt fixed to this date 2023. thats 4 years of core elementalist features that has been bugged ever since . i think personally its a shame and its a well overlooked bug and i do not understand why it has not been fixed yet. The bug is very simple to both understand and replicate. this happens especially on weaver specialization due to having dual attunements, whenever u dismount from warclaw in wvw as a elementalist (weaver) u will be in the wrong attunement 90% of the time or even mixed attunement which does not make sense or shouldnt be possible in the first place, example u can have skill 1,2,3 being air and 4,5 being earth, but when dismounting u might have 1,3,5 being air and 2,4 being earth attunement which shouldnt be possible, the reason that this is especially is annoying is mainly because of the competetive aspect of wvw and warclaw, now lets say other classes had similarities then maybe it would probably been fixed but as far as i know it is entirely a elementalist bug. i talked about this in the past and i would still like to adress it as it is apart of the core elementalist aspects and because it is obviously a bug that should dealt with, it shouldnt remain to exist for this long. hope to see a fix for it sometime, if not i wont be surprised i mean it literally been like this since 2019, neitherways u could always hope i guess..   15. thats odd, i been playing for 7-8+ years now and i always had support responding to me aswell as every single one i know within the game, dark patterns because u have to approve u're not a bot on a website ? thats pretty standard procedure on many places, i cant see no issue to that, infact it should only prevent more bots from inflating the website in the first place. this is exactly my experience aswell. i think in this case its very common knowledge to the average human being that if u arent certain or sure in ur purchase u shouldnt buy it, u telling me the one hand isnt talking to the other while u buy ur stuff from the hand ? . that sounds kinda foolish to me, if u knew there wasnt a certain line even if u did not know that u couldnt use the gems code from a third party website to ur steam account there has been so much talk about how it worked and that u would have to go through steam for it right, also the faq mentions nothing about anything related towards outside of steam example, if u were to refund gems etc u couldnt do it through arenanet but it would have to be through steam that to me as an average person really signals that if u playing through steam that u are paying through steam, it does not signals to me wheter u can use codes from third parties like amazon or not, and if that is the case then u already have the answer to that one hand isnt talking to the other, yet u paid for it being well aware that the left hand isnt talking to the right so what did u expect ?. as much as i hope it solves out for u i think or feel this is very self explainatory, i wouldnt buy something im not 100% sure of what im buying or if its legit, if it works, etc etc, if i couldnt find any info in regards to that then obviously i wouldnt be 100% sure and therefor not buy it .

  17. i agree that can be an issue too, i cant tell too much in regards to that as i mainly play sword dagger weaver / Reaper in pvp most of my time therefor i dont experience the same issue in regards to that as lets say dragon's tooth issue, but i am sure it could / would might be relevant to look into aswell. tho u could then say it might would be fair to have that in exchange of damage nerfs ?. i aint to tell on that but i feel i can atleast play around projectile blocks either by LoS'ing or etc, while on cata it is kinda hard to impossible doing that if they hard cc u down and burst u with stuff that can hit out of LoS
  18. okay i forgot it was 900 range and not 600 range, so because an invidual cant remember exact ranges of some skills in the game it means its irrelevant of their experiences from the skills ? thats a very odd statement. If u cant even read what i have to say then what makes ur saying even relevant in this case, maybe u could type something that would benefit to the topic itself rather than trying to point out a simple range discussion
  19. nerf the damage output and make it a ground aoe again, and if not damage nerf then atleast put a higher cd on it. it is really busted atm and i do not understand who though it be a great game design idea to have dragon's tooth follow ur target no matter if they LoS or out of range it and it still hits ..
  20. 100% agree on this, as a ele weaver main, cata + scepter is way too busted atm, also lets not forget its 900 range, its low cd, its an aoe the size of a node and now it tracks the target even out of LoS, i dont think the might is the issue on its own i mean i see why it plays apart of being the issue in this circumstance, but on lets say sword weaver it aint, so its a bit of a mix of being cata ontop of huge stat gains aswell as having cc's + huge chains of damage. i am actually still to this moment mindblown by the fact that an aoe the size of a node was remade into being an aoe that follows the target, its prob one of the most stupid designs i saw in a good while.. not even a support be able to get close to that target who is hit with a dragon's tooth, unless that is if they wants to get hit by it aswell, there is no skill requirement to even play it u just cast it and boom ur target is gone, just revamp it back to be a ground target aoe having the size of a node is more than enough already. then generally cata's needs a rework (nerfs) in term of power builds on a general scale.

Scepter in general on ele aswell as the mix of catalyst is what needs nerfs badly, im surprised they still havent nerfed it, i still wonder who though it be a great idea to make an already quite decently sized aoe Dragon's Tooth to be attached to a target rather than ground aoe, sure scepter wasnt the best before and it required alot of precisions play to be able to land ur stuff but isnt that what makes ele its class to begin with, lets take sword weaver for example, it requires 100% more on being precise on its movement, facing targets etc, and then we have 900 range scepters that does not require any of that being 3 times as powerful, where is the idealogy behind this, it makes no sense to me, i think sword focus and sword dagger and dagger dagger is in a fine okayish state, tho i would love to see sword on itself being buffed a bit as it requires so much more attention to how u play / use it compared to anything else . Nerf Cata, Nerf scepter, Remove dragon's tooth aoe to be attached and make it instead a ground aoe as it used to be, it already has the size of a node its more than enough for a ground aoe to be reasonable, but now nope, now it follows its target no matter LoS or not requiring absolute no skill to use it and sure u can evade it but GL when they cc u down while doing so, besides of that it makes no sense in terms of teamplay, lets say we have a supp guard to help cleanse bit off the condi's or heal u up etc how on earth is he supposed to even get close to a target hit by dragon's tooth ? he simply cant he would have to dodge or facetank the massive damage from it because it follows the target he is trying to support. edited for special kids like grimjack.
  22. Dragon's tooth needs huge nerfs - first of all make it a ground aoe not targeted followed aoe, this can be abused to the limits even cast and hit out of LoS. Secondly nerf some of the damage abilities and if not atleast nerf some of the cc's from power cata and SCEPTER especially, it is literally the most broken stuff i've seen in a while on elementalist. There is absolute no reason to play any other than scepter cata as any other ele spec will be outplayed by it due to its massive cc + damage combo's playing Weaver sword dagger every season even its off meta and not as valueable i still reach plat on it but what a struggle to even play it, u have to play ur brain out just to have decently same output as a cata with scepter, now i could just swap myself to cata scepter but i think personally it just needs nerfs and i do not wanna play something as broken as that, if Anything needs a buff on ele it is sword in general, its probably the most outdated stuff also because so much rely on precision, by precision i mean actually being in range and facing target + slow anims and not the actual stat. Right now there is nothing but scepter cata's and if any else there is scepter weavers, i think its quite funny the meta swapped from sword focus to scepters only it to me shows for a good reason that it is too overtuned otherwise i doubt there would be so many currently outta nowhere swapping the meta to play it. I dont mind meta swaps or new meta's but i rather have a better overall balance than 1 specific gear / set being better than the rest .
  23. the only place i find stealth broken is in wvw on a deadeye rifle 1v1'ing, tho with that said it has not rly any else to offer but the way it can run stealth shoot repeat without letting target get close is a bit of an issue in my opinion, now mesmers and thiefs in general in example PvP which this topic is mainly on i do not see a problem with stealth, even the deadeye rifle build is fine there as there are points in which plays an important role towards the engagement of any fight rather than example again as mentioned above wvw where u run endlessly without any point as such to fight over.
  24. perhaps check in ur steam folder if u can locate the gw2 settings file and see if its set to read only, that could cause this conflict / issue, tho it aint certain that it is the case.

Fire weaver is both viable in pvp and Wvw ( i personally play it mainly in both modes ) platinum every season along with 1vX in wvw, tho with that said if u compare it to a good example Scepter or other alternatives it is very high effort for reward compared to u can just use such as a scepter to gain even more reward for lower effort which to me says that it is indeed outdated or needs a bit of an update. im glad to see the trait evasive arcana working on fire attunement dodge again, tho we still since release of warclaw didnt get wrong attunement / bugged attunement swap on dismount fixed which is kinda disappointing, all in all tho i deff agree on this topic / thread in regards to weavers using sword, it is way too much effort to only gain half as much value as someone doing auto attacks on scepter, i personally do feel tho that scepter needs a nerf atleast on auto chains aswell as fire 2 - dragon's tooth, this skill on its own is very busted for several reason one of them being the high damage, another being that it now follows the target rather than being an actual aoe like in the past and a third being that it can hit through LoS which makes it really.. op in pvp that is atleast, tho im not here to bring down scepter atleast not too much all in all is nice to see it being used again, but u could really question then what is sword even worth now at days if any main hand weapons almost are stronger to use in most scenarios due to low effort / high reward, while as with sword u need high effort / medium reward for it to work. I wouldnt like to see bleed nerfs tho, as fire weaver especially roaming in wvw it is very neccesary and i rather have bleed than immobs, i dont have issues catching a target unless that is a thief most of the time, tho i do play sword dagger rather than the most common sword focus.
