  1. I like it. I was able to incorporate Staff into my hybrid healing power/power based build based on shouts. It fit very well, my life expectancy went up big time with better small team support. Exactly what I wanted.
  2. I noticed the same thing on my end as well. I had been really good for years without any issues now this. normally i am 40ms ping on average now I get huge spikes making it unplayable.

  4. Can confirm Rifle meme. I somehow made a Longbow/Rifle healing power shout Warrior for the ultimate in meme.
  5. Yeah, its one of the reasons why I find myself playing more support based builds, and hybrid builds on Warrior. Power is really feeling bad on Warrior in general. Also I multiclass more.
  6. I had a specialty build that could hit 38k before the patch. It was pure bliss downing all of the cele tanks for once. I was able to reach 18k against many of the common builds. Now its 10k top end against glassy builds, and 6-7k like Lucentfir said against the cele tanks. Not enough to down them, and many times you never get a hit in with all the invuln frames they can stack, this is what people keep missing. Even in its bugged state it was not a 100% win. If anything this just shows how important damage is to Warrior to even stay relevant in a lot of matchups.
  7. I am making a legendary staff as my 2nd legendary weapon. So what is the staff F1 going to be? I want it to be stacked like the old full counter, but we all know what will happen if it is on launch.
  8. Typically I also take Destruction of the Empowered with Core Warrior builds. So i do not really want boon rip, Core Dagger should be the damage spec for single target damage with T3 Dagger bursts. Core should be doing the 15k dagger f1's and Spellbreaker the 8k hits.
  9. Core Warrior has tier 3 bursts and should not be restricted to a t1 burst with dagger which is what seems to be happening.
  10. Looks like you are right Lan. They also seem to be restricting Dagger F1 on Core to only one stack of Berserker's Power, like a T1 burst would. Dagger should be T3 Burst on Core and it should have access to full stacks of Berserker's Power.
  11. I was going to make a post about this but this one popped up. Even with full glass gear, might stacking (25 stacks), AND 4 stacks of Bersekers power (24% damage buff), Core Warrior STILL does less Dagger damage with T3 Bursts than the T1 Bursts of Spellbreaker. I am hitting 23k plus on Strength Spellbreaker and only 7-8k on Strength, Disc, Defense Core Warrior. Even if you adjust for the PvE dagger damage on Spellbreaker I would still be doing 15k plus on dagger F1's. Easily outpacing the Core Warrior. Tier 3 Bursts should be the most powerful bursts in the game, not T1 bursts. Core Warrior in general feels very weak with Rifle, Dagger, and even Axe. I routinely hit for 5k critical hits with Axe on full glass core Warrior on Sentry's, I used to break 9k easily. I love Core Warrior and this is a big problem.
  12. I was using the Trooper Relic on a full cleric support shout Warrior and I could barely keep my Soulbeast teammate alive against one measly Harbinger. It needs to be 2 condis.
  13. Been using Mabon on Strength Spellbreaker. Dagger/Dagger with Sword/Shield. Stomp and Bulls Charge for effect, Magebane always.. Of course SoR as well. I try to time the 25 might stacks with the bonus when it pops up. Brutal is not even the word. so far 23k dagger F1's, 15k sword 3's and healthy dagger 3/4's for around 6-9k (used to be much better in previous patches, like 20k). Dagger 5 can also be good and the vuln stacks really synergize well. Glassy though.

  15. Some of the runes 6th bonus relic are completely different, ruining the original build idea behind the bonus. Plus we have runes missing bonuses now with no replacement in sight.
  16. When I want to feel how axe used to be on Warrior in competitive modes I go to Pve and stack boosters and slay. Critical hits for 4k in full zerk with damage runes is not cutting it in WvW anymore.
  17. I run P/P on my Daredevils 2nd weapon set. I actually play my thief like a Warrior. I am also looking forward to the Guardian pistol set.
  18. So I Bull's Charge into you, and follow that up with a Shield Bash. I then hit you with a dagger 3, and weapon swap into a Hammer 5. Depending how I am feeling I might throw in a hammer 4 to show off. 200 damage. You get up and continue fighting. All of the other classes are capable of CC'ing a player for allied players. Ranged CC can also be chained by other classes, something Warrior cannot do.
  19. There needs to be a cooldown after getting cc'd. There should be no chain CC. How long the cooldown could be is up for debate.
  20. Now that I deleted all of my alts, and doubled down on Warrior, I am going to have to try some of these!
  21. Been running rifle less due to this. I will weapon swap to sword 2 instead.
  22. Been playing Dagger/Warhorn - Hammer Healbreaker in full Clerics gear. Its been playing okay in small groups, but suffers in zerg play. I tried to stay with the smaller skirmishes that always seems to break out during zerg fights. Been running it in smaller 2man comps while roaming too, it seems better in 3-10man events. Few movement abilities and low stunbreaks/stab is a real problem. Taking all the shouts on the utility bar hurts choice and really cuts down on movement abilities and stab. Plus side is Full Counter, Warhorn for blasting combo fields and Barrier, 3.6k heals times 6 shouts, "To the Limit" heal restores all endurance for allies, Boon rip on CC, two sources of reveals ("On my mark", and Magebane Tether). I feel the Hammer is more valuable in smaller groups. I hope Staff is good. I would run it in Zerg type fights more. It might work better on Core Warrior, I think the Hammer fits Spellbreaker better. I will add the last bonus of the Trooper rune, when the split happens. Right now I like my Natures Bounty stats.
