Full map unlock newb question

I recently got back in the game and unlocked my condi scourge elite and loving it. I now have an inkling to get the full core world achieve/star on this character.

 

Question - Because I wanted to catch up with this character, I treated myself to the core tyria waypoint unlock purchase from the store. Does anyone know if this means I can't get the full world complete achieve? I tested it on one map and it did give me the achieve on that map, so I assume I can. I just don't want to put in all that work for full map achieve and not get it because I bought the waypoint unlock.

 

If any one knows the answer, let me know.

You can still get World map completion

 

How you get the waypoints is irrelevant. They still count legitimately towards what you need whether found via exploration or paid unlock
