Official game forums are usually occupied by people who care about the game, but they don't have enough of the content that they want to do, so they tend to come here. They'll shoot down even hypotheticals. I've had more meaningful discussions within general chat within the game or guild chat. I actually really like them, though I do like them as a people we interact with, and the mysteriousness of them. It would have to be implemented in the way WoW introduced fuzzbutt pandas, they would have their own starting area and their own storyline in the Dominion of the Winds, and then join the present fight after leaving that. It's an odd thing to add a new race, if you've not experienced it in another game, because they are not part of the events largely that have occurred up to that point. I'd probably try to create an Ara or a Peafowl with a mix of feather-colors and armor skins, Mesmer or Guardian/Willbender. Then I would create serious looking bird, mimicking Sephiroth from the FFIV, head to my guildhall and try to intimidate Kesho for an hour or so. Then I would jump off a high place and check what falling animation Tengu have. Hoping it would be some kind of wing-flap or arm-flap animation. - Since Wilky left, the board became quite boring. Have not had a good laugh or a heartwarming smile in weeks. We still cannot post any images. I guess they want us to advertise the game by relying more on critter, lyssascroll and instabraham. Maybe if they add rewards for sharing posts on those platforms, like a mini, a glider or a title, they might find some 'volunteers.' But by deactivating pictures on this board, they removed the soul from this place. Bring those confused and cry emojis on! I'd make one of each armor class like I did with all the other races. I probably wouldn't make any more than that, though. I just like dressing up. So, once I had my fill of that, I'd likely go back to playing Sylvari or Charr. It's just hard to beat the glow! Nine years of playing Charr (and to a lesser extent Asura), trying to make them look nice, leaves me very cynical that Tengu would be implemented any better.
