ZerotheFang.5890 Posted August 31, 2021 Share Posted August 31, 2021 so after i do the first part and go through portal i get a message saying "this is not your active story. any progress made in this instance will not be saved". then after fight with golem i am missing marker for story says meet at beach but no marker anywhere. I do not get the message about not being in my active story, but progression stops the same way after the golem fight in the Olmakhan village. Apparently the A Kindness Repaid step does not update, rather it resets after leaving the (completed) instance. And since it starts right after the end of the Test Subject instance there's no way to start it from the open world, so you're SOL... I've done the entire chapter revisit twice up to this point, both times being unable to progress at this stage. Kinda frustrating to be completely honest. The only option for me right now is to replay The Charge for achievements, despite the fact I haven't gotten to that step yet. After a kindness repaid it let me out and got credit for fist three parts, but screen still says a kindness repaid when I should be going to "The road to Rata Primus" I have no green circles or stars anywhere just purple achievement stars. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I quit and restarted and it still doesn't show. It just worked for me, the starting of the story I mean. The mail from Kito didn't arrive but the one from Canach did. Tried doing it yesterday 1 time, just tried today and same thing is happening. I just sent a Bug Report. too If you're replaying the story and enter "A Kindness Repaid" as an automatic continuation from the previous story step, your progress won't be saved; you have to exit the instance (logout to character select) and re-enter it from its starting point.
