New Support Warrior Class

Bruh I know you are new here, but don't you think having a class that that does only dps across all options is kinda dumb. The one speck that does the most damage is played.

Also Supports are OP as kitten, since they have the Utility and the Damage options, that is why you have kitten ton of Firebrands and Scourges in WvW and PVE. Quite frankly pure DPS builds suck kitten.   

Almost forgot. Since warrior does not have dedicated support spec to push all the support kitten into it all specs will be Banner supports anyway for PVE.

Pretty sure we have done that multiple times with Berserker, and every time it got nerfed to oblivion.

What do you mean by "support"? Unless you mean healing, warrior can already support.

 

Spellbreaker was a great support before getting nerfed to the ground. Maybe bring that back?

It didn't have the cool kids stuff that make you viable option for PVE groups. For example scrapper didn't have a spot in PVE they gave it quickness support/dps hybrid build and now it can hang out with the cool kids instead of stacking more firebrands.

And Berserker is "support" in PVE in a sense because of banners, but is mostly arbitrary since banners are boring stat sticks and don't have interesting gameplay. So all warrior builds for PVE are support group because of a parasitic mechanic that only warrior has. The irony here is that by not having dedicated support spec all warrior specs will be support.

I mean banners are still desireable. If warrior could provide 1-2 more boons, it would comfortably be a hybrid dps/support.

But ill add more, mostly banners are bad for the  game as a whole, it is really obtuse and boring way to "support".
The Phalanx warrior build before was support, since the whole kit was used to provide something. The banner support builds are just diluting good dps builds, the banners are a tack on and are the only reason warrior is taken over something else.

All and all banners were a band aid fix to give warrior a spot in PVE, but it should not have left permanent. It is the same situation as Grace of the land on druid, they started reworking these parasitic skills and traits that were way to strong to pass up while also being really class specific special buffs, but stop midway and now we have banners and spirits. The game has really cool support options like tempest(ele as a whole) but it doesn't have spirits so it doesn't substitute Druid even though they share the same support space .

Warrior can have really cool support builds but it is not on par with the dedicated support elites so it is relegated to DPS spec that just happens to bring stat sticks that are OP as kitten. 

The banners are also worse than spirits since they are a must have so people can cap out their stats like crit chance, which involves the the gear selection on everyone, and everyone has to make their build around warrior having banners.

Honestly I think they need to step away from the class specific buffs. It's completely against the original "take the player not the class" mentality that they were attempting at first. Now it's "Take the healbrand and banner slave".. Really getting sick of the lack of variety in the meta these days. No one is willing to even glance at anything else and I feel like the new specs are mostly going to go untouched in everything but open world because the devs seem to be focused on balancing stuff for raids. They may be used in wvw but idk about structured since I'm sure being immobile will not be good unless they make it like 2.5 sec with a low damage hit in which case why not just play core/zerk.
