Blocked attack in stealth

I find it completely ridiculous that blocked attacks don't reveal the attacker. You can  just spam into a blocking ability and have no penalty. I think if a player is block they should still be reveled.

I find it completely ridiculous that a player can block attacks from something he can't see. I think if a player is in stealth, he can attack through blocks.

Isn't the penalty not being able to damage? So the block works as intended? And thief stealth attacks go on a cooldown as well so really anything into block gets a cooldown and does no damage. And of course the cooldowns to be in stealth are wasted at that point for zero damage.
 

But sure...people just spam into blocks from stealth with no disadvantage.

A blocked backstab goes on cooldown. And to be honest, by the time it comes off cooldown stealth is usually gone shortly thereafter.

I should have known the thief player base wouldn't be happy with this. Can't be to surprised considering it takes a special type to enjoy that play style

I have literally been hit 10 times on 1 Shield stance by 1 thief and then hits me for 6k the second the stance drops. I would say they didn't waste too much

You can literally run through an enemy and not get revealed. I think your logic is a bit out the window with that

Why would you lie this blatantly? What you claim is literally impossible. Seriously, dude… Besides, any Thief at gold or above is going to Steal the second they see that shield go up (provided it isn’t on cooldown).

Aegis is an instant cast without animation. Has nothing to do with skill when hitting it.

Over half of the players randomly block, be real.
Most people go panic mode and press block whenever it is available and when they used their CD.

Only small part of the PvP community is actually blocking/dodging the skills he intend to block or dodge because of knowledge.

All boons have animation, aegis is the most visible one. If oppos are skill spamming, its ur fault that u cant outplay them.

There is no "its your fault"-logic here.

F3 guard aegis is insta, shield 4 isnt. If guard puts it up right before u backstab, he saw u and played well. Also imagine thief complaining about guard.

No no, Im not the one complaining here. YOU started this by saying people don't randomly block. While in reality most people block when they shouldn't. I was the one pointing that out. You are the one finding one argument after another to keep this useless discussion and off topic going.

Like: when did I complain about guards? Quote me on that one? Or did I actually saw you thinking guard is the only one with instant Aegis?

Also be real: how does a guard see if a thief is going to backstab (stealthed) midst a teamfight? Also to perform a shield 4 with 0.5s cast time vs a 0.25s skill cast. Good luck saving your allie from a backstab with shield 4 midst AoE's going all around.

In theory it's possible but reality is quite different and would call for perfect circumstances.

If you're talking 1v1: why would a thief engage that anyway.

Well ifk what to tell you cause it happens. Usually onlyb3 or 4 times into a block but I have counted 10. Unless there was a 2nd player that didn't come out of stealth in the area ifk what to tell you.

That was the pistol stealth attack that you blocked. Aegis will sometimes block entire skills even if its multiple hits. Or if you did a skill block.

So, now it’s two players in stealth? You sure it wasn’t three? I can promise you, one player did not spam 11 backstabs from stealth (or any attacks for that matter) in three seconds.
