That means that the following directories should contain only the files listed below (with "username" being your local user name on your PC, and "D:\Guild Wars 2\" being an example directory where you might have installed the game) : C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\Cohrerent Dumps\ C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\GFXSettings.Gw2-64.exe.xml C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\Local.dat C:\Users\username\Documents\Guild Wars 2\Screens\ D:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.dat D:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.exe D:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2-64.tmp D:\Guild Wars 2\THIRDPARTYSOFTWAREREADME.txt D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\locales\ D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\CoherentUI_Host.exe D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\CoherentUI64.dll D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\d3dcompiler_43.dll D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\ffmpegsumo.dll D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\icudt.dll D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\libEGL.dll D:\Guild Wars 2\bin64\libGLESv2.dll 2. Clearing the Game Cache Open your Windows Explorer Paste this into the address bar (exchange "username" for your actual PC user name) and press Enter:C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp Delete all files starting with gw2cache-{ Also delete any ReShade files and other add-on remains you might find there 3. Deleting the Local.dat Open your Windows Explorer Paste this into the address bar (exchange "username" for your actual PC user name) and press Enter:C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2 Select the Local.dat file and delete it (if you don't see it, you might need to configure your Windows Explorer to show hidden files) Note: deleting the Local.dat will reset your login information as well as your sound and graphics settings; keyboard binds and general options will not be reset Once you have finished cleaning up, you can launch the game safely and activate the DX11 beta (restart the game again after activation to run the DX11 beta). You can also then re-install any add-ons that work under DX11, like ReShade - make sure though that you install the DX11 version of those add-ons or they won't work (or worse, crash the game client). Many known add-ons don't offer a DX11 install option yet, so you will have to wait for an update from the creators of those tools.
