Ranked pvp should be team only, require a full 5 before being able to Q

It is a good idea but not now. Good time would be on eod launch that is only bad side of implementing it now since population is low.

What team que brings is just positive aspects:

1: communication with team

2: team compositions theorycraft (this is actually still small cus poor balance)

3: no wintraders because if someone tries to grind way to throw with alts they still waste too much time and are easly noticed

4: this one is offtopic but observe mode need to be available for everyone for things like highest rated matches and monthlys but after they end so ppl can report easier actions and keep top pvp healthy.

This are also the reasons why gw1 pvp was 10 times better experience as being competitive player. Gw2 is doomed and ppl saying solo/duo ranked is fine are delusional. Out of 10 matches having 1-2 fun ones is not fun for most ppl. 

This whole issue could be solved with observe mode (wintrade solved) and better aT system when EoD launch (no need for team que). If aTs are starting 15 min after they end during prime time (during night on eu for example would take more time to restart).

If this gets right than just remove duo que because players can go for full team when they want to play with team while ppl will still be able to play solo que ranked which will serve as experience proof for entering aT teams. Last thing would be to introduce new rewards for new currency like tournament tickets which would be used to buy unique weapon/armor skins or even emotions like finishers etc.

I want to speak about this argument.
In vanilla days team Q consisted out of:
- PUG teams, same as today solo/duo Q, but takes more time to form team;
- occasionaly PRO-team stomping everyone, but waiting for 30 minutes for 1 match. They almost had no chanse to face other highlevel team in team Q;
- wintraders, a lot of wintraders. In my memory team Q was a pinnacle of wintrading.

 

Team Q may be a good thing overall, but this particular argument about wintraders fails, IMO.
