Eiken.6821
I have been trying to google this and coming up with nothing. I keep finding information on mastery points. How do I increase the Raptor Ravenous Strike (Tail Spin) so that I can put the mastery point into that category? I have done enough on the map to get the mastery point and it keeps prompting me to spend it, but my Ravenous Strike is at 0% complete and I cannot put the point there. I have tried killing about 20 mobs by leading in with the tail spin and that does not seem to be moving that 0% up at all. What the heck am I doing wrong? Tiamat.8254
Have you selected it as the mastery track you want to gain xp for?
costepj.5120
Have you selected that mastery to train? Are you earning experience on a Path of Fire/LS4 map? Quoting the wiki: To train a mastery, players simply need to access the mastery system interface and select a mastery. Up to one mastery track can be trained per region (i.e. Central Tyria, Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, etc.) at one time. Once the player is training a mastery, all experience earned will go towards progressing the selected mastery for that region and their experience bar will change to track the current progress (does not include experience gained from leveling crafting disciplines). If a level 80 player has not yet unlocked the mastery system, earned experience will go towards a track that rewards spirit shards when completed (i.e. the normal "level up" reward). If the mastery system has been unlocked but no mastery track has been selected, any experience earned will go towards the first untrained mastery track for that region. Eiken.6821
I assume it is marked for training since it says "Training" and has a giant red checkmark next to it. And the Mastery point is available for PoF, just the training is not leveling up at all. Was doing the tail spins there and still shows at 0%. Was that supposed to be done wholly in the mission where you get the raptor?
Cuks.8241
You will gain mastery exp just by gaining exp in the corresponding areas. So for raptor, these are Pof areas. Just play in Pof maps, gain exp and your selected mastery training will go up. When your bar will be full you will be able to spend mastery points. Nothing really related with tail attacks, any activity in Pof maps that gives exp will do. Anything which gives you XP will help, but dynamic events are usually the best source. Edited September 30, 2021 by Danikat.8537
costepj.5120
You can also check by hovering over the icon at the very right of your experience bar to see what you are working towards on any particular map.
