The game let me go all the way to the third step and gives me a message saying that YOU HAVE ALREADY CRAFTED THIS ITEM. I have been told by many people that I should be able. Gen 2 pre, e.g. The Mechanism can be crafted multiple times and as mentioned above is account bound (cannot be sold).
