What about the legendary pvp necklace?

Hi, how did I want to ask a moderator or some anet developer? What will happen to the legendary pvp necklace since it took me months and intense tilts to take out to leave it thrown out there, for a legendary that they are going to give away just finishing the story? What I suggest is that we can put the 2 legendaries in the mystical forge and give us another legendary with a new aura since the months of work I invested in it are not fair.

Well, making threads here is the best bet you have for obtaining a dev response, though the chances of that are generally pretty slim.

If I'm reading this correctly, you feel like your PvP amulet will be devalued by the PvE amulet and you want to be able to put them both in the Mystic Forge to receive a third, new legendary with a new cosmetic effect?

I'm sorry, but I disagree. You did PvP and you got one amulet. People doing the Return To achievements are doing PvE and getting one amulet. There's no inequality here. Both amulets require you to play a single game mode a lot for the same tier of reward.

How about no.

 

You got your legendary PVP stuff, congratz, I'm sure you worked for it but people who are currently grinding the PVE achievement are also working to get their item. Your legendary item will not change and people who will get their legendary item through PVE achievement will not suddently become legendary player who are above the rest of the pleb playerbase.

 

I fail to see how your month of work is "unfair". People who will get their legendary item also worked to get their stuff. Unless you're saying that PVP effort > PVE effort, you have to work to get both legendary item. 

 

In the end no one lose anything and the player who works will get rewarded regardless of the content he plays.

Well, the legendary pvp whit effect cost me a lot, it was the legendary that I hated the most, that's why I'm asking

1.-20 tournaments for the effect 1 month

2.- Gather the gifts for another month farming wvw and pvp events

 

What I suggest is that they give the legendary without effect of pve and in the mystical forge join that of pve together with that of pvp and give a different effect since doing that would encourage people to participate more in pvp so remove that annoyance from people who did this content and made an effort to do it sorry my english is bad but you get the idea

So you also want them to take the wvw high cost set, spvp high cost set and envy legendary armors and combine it for a 4th legendary armor skin aswell?

I only suggest that they give us a new aura by putting in the mystical forge the necklace of pvp and pve that they are going to give for the meta-achievement

This is borderline elitism. Your legendary amulet will not be devalued simply because there is another one that is arguably easier to obtain. Only you care how much effort you put into your legendary, nobody else does. Much like nobody cares how much effort I put into my legendary weapons, when there are those who buy them off the TP with real money. And that's not going to change after we actually get the PvE amulet.

Now I know what an anet developer feels when they criticize it, it is only a suggestion from a user in which he is proposing an improvement that is an extra aura for those who did that pvp content, encouraging new people to do it if they want to. that new aura that's all

You got the spvp legendary amulet ball somethin a pve legendary amulet wont have.

It will stay in the game. No changes. PVP was never really a large % of the player population for a long time. It was popular at launch and into HoT, and then it started dying, they were probably hoping the neck would bring people in and then realized it didn't and decided to give out the other. You'll probably still want to do the return to achieves because the rewards are so ridiculous. just turn on your PVP necklace and show it off. People will enjoy the necklace from story, but the PVP one is less meme and takes more actual effort to get, as you must win matches. Assuming you're not doing something stupid like botting. As I'm gunning full legendary I'm tempted to use the shards I save on PVP armor to speed up the gearing process. I had been planning on making it but changed my mind when they announced the other neck.

You seem to ignore that players have to finish from LWs 2 all the way to IBS, they need to do events; gather resources; finish stories and.....are you ready? JUMPING PUZZLES!! New player can't get that episode for free anymore if they are late to the party.
So i dont think PvE players have much easier time than you

We have those alternative paths, so players can pick what fits them best. There is no game-mode superior to others. Just because you prefer playing sPvP, does not mean that by design players who enjoy Story & Open World, Raids/Fractals/Stirkes or WvW are having an easier time. Every game-mode has its own huge collection of prejudices. Most are wrong, but people keep repeating them to feel superior. 

I know that those who claim themselves to be elite players usually consider Story and Open World as the weakest of all game-modes, that can be done by everyone without any special training or preparations. The time consumption is usually ignored, because time has no value. Challenges do not exist, difficulty as well.

Every game-mode can be played professional. The requirements are different, but the level of dedication and skill is always high. Even Story and Open World. *grabs popcorn*

You have done an incredible job acquiring your legendary necklace in sPvP, no doubt. I even applaud to you, knowing that I cannot sPvP at all. But the other methods are not less work-intensive or cheaper.

The sad part of the pvp amulet is the fact its an amulet. 

I think both wvw and pvp trinkets are pretty nice together. 

The pve amulet would probably have another effect that you wont be able to stack with the pvp one, and you will stay with your wvw ball alone. 

I think it's a shame, pvp amulet should have been a ring (except if the pve amulet stacks with the 3 other pve legy trinkets).

There should be a vendor to let players convert their PvP amulet into a ring to go alongside Conflux. Although if I remember correctly rings are the most costly to acquire, so it'd probably need some extra currencies thrown in to make up the difference in cost and effort.

hey friend everyone hates the effects that the trinkets give the 3 balls on the head that's why they put the update to hide it hopefully they also do a redesign of the legendary medium armor and the pvplegendary backpack has bright blue colors with a brown that you can not change which they do not combine with anything they are ugly

I too would have liked if they exchanged my old infinite-but-glyphless gathering tools with infinite gathering tools with glyphs, they didn't, same will happen here in this case.

Also this amulet is "free" just for now but in the future it's gonna become as pricey as other legendaries for players that doesn't possess any living episode (5600 gems!).

Ultimately it come down to what effect the new amulet will have. If it continues the upgrade path of Aurora Vision and Coalescence , i would like a way to combine it with transendance in a way similar to Eternity, so i could keep my pvp orb and upgrade my pve orb. If it has no cosmetic effect, i will just continue to use transendance.
