Yup 'discounted' to 28.94$ CDN after exchange before any taxes or charges are added.  Not sure I want to pay more just to say I saved.

Does the invoice include Swiss VAT?

In theory you might be able to recover parts of the VAT, depending on the trade deals that affect these kind of sales. However it's probably not enough to go through that sort of hassle.

To be fair, the overall difference would be about 4$ ignoring any potential fees for exchange or taxes. But that saves me about 3$ or less on a gem card purchase so, meh?

I'm from Norway and I've tried multiple sites and I just keep getting blocked cuz I'm from the "wrong country". Why don't they just add the 20% discount to the in-game gem purchases? Why does it have to be gem cards that aren't available to everyone? I mean, in-game gems are already more expensive than gem cards to begin with. At least give us something!

Canadian don't get the discount/sale, but they are eligible for the sweepstakes during this Beta.  (They often are not.)
