Noble's Folly Pass

You know, I'd like to get this while it's offered, but I'd need either the shared slots expanded or some sort of a "passbook" like we have with the season's passes. Until something like that happens, I just can't see buying anything like Noble's.

This won't happen as long as Anet sticks to its sleazy gem store practices since lounge passes almost always require a shared inventory slot to be useful for most folks.

It's quite convenient for people who want quick access to HoT maps, but don't have a guild hall teleport available.

Why not? Convenient items are... well... convenient, right? I imagine that I'm not alone and people would get more than one if they made it convenient to use them. Hmm, I see a theme here!

People said we'd never get shared slots for the same reason - without them players would buy more passes, infinite tools and other convenience items. Some people (probably the same ones) said we'd never get the wallet or expanded material storage because not having it meant we needed more bank tabs. A similar argument was used against getting something like the wardrobe because before then players would store items with skins they liked in the bank. I'm sure there's been others too.

I'm sure Anet do have to factor how they make their money into decisions like this, but I don't think it's an absolute rule that if something currently creates an incentive for some players to buy some things it can never be changed. Especially things like this which could go either way: I have a lounge pass and at the moment the main thing which puts me off buying more (either lounges or things like the home instance portal or the world boss ones) is knowing I'd have to move other stuff out of shared inventory slots to make room for them or keep them in the bank and go and get them each time, which ruins the convenience. I know I'm not alone in that so there's a good chance Anet could actually make more money, or at least the same as now, by offering a way to handle passes and create some good will at the same time.
