Personal Story bugged, skipped me way ahead.

I just finished Forming the Pact step liberating Apatia by honoring her in Hoelbrak and the mission concluded. Now it says my next step is “Against the Corruption,” which is part of the final stretch, completely skipping most of the Victory or Death chapter. My story log also has not moved on to Chapter 8. It’s still on Liberating Apatia with a green check mark. What the heck happened?

Ever since the Personal Story was changed, and changed back (all these many years), some players have had issues.  It's not just those issues listed in that thread.

Nothing can be done, other than trying with another character.
